You’re going to love our newly remodeled beach house and it’s fun vintage charm. It’s 5 houses to the ocean. It boasts a huge deck to enjoy the views, outside bbq area and dining al fresco.

The space
This home is close to all things Cheery Grove. Blocks to the market, ice cream parlor, shopping and restaurants.

Guest access
The unit you’re renting is the second floor of a duplex. It has private stairs, entrance and a massive deck.

Wonderful weekend getaway

Absolutely loved this beach house. Bright and inviting, rooms and furniture laid out very well with plenty of room for the entire family to relax. The deck was our favorite and the dogs as well! Very clean, fully stocked with anything you need. Gene was great! Will definitely return!

Family beach trip

Fantastic location - even closer to the beach than we had expected. Huge front deck offered ocean views and was a fun sunny hangout for us. The home is well decorated, modern, and super clean. The owners were easy to communicate with and very accommodating for the couple of small asks we had.

Perfect Weekend!

We loved our stay! Everything we needed was there. It was close to the beach, restaurants. We got some sunburn on the deck and took our dogs for walks on the beach. We cooked breakfast and drank wine on the deck at night. It was a perfect getaway!

Perfect location

Our second time visiting this property and we will stay again! Love the location on a no outlet street. Very clean and so cute and quaint. Has everything you need inside and they offer all you need for a day at the beach. Chairs, umbrellas sand toys all out to use at your convenience. Owners are fantastic too 😊

Family vacation with a dog

Overall a great stay. A few things to note, washer and dryer is around the back on the 1st floor and shared with downstairs apartment. It is also in a flood zone so so if you book during king tide or hurricane season be sure to get the travel insurance. It is well furnished and has alllll your beach necessities including chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas and much more. The apartment does have a musty smell which was probably my biggest negative on the property. I did keep my diffuser running which helped some. Owners were very helpful.

Vacay at the beach

Property was clean and appeared even nicer in person. Took our two service k-9's and my personal dog and had a wonderful stay. Neighbors do not like pets being walked by their property but tried to avoid that area. All in all it was a very good stay and highly recommend. The AC units worked great.

Location!

Super clean and amazing location. We were there for 4th of July weekend and were just 3 blocks from where fireworks launched at the pier, incredible to watch from the deck. Beach is a 2 minute walk and ice cream, groceries and souvenirs a ten minute walk. The house had everywhere we needed and ample beach supplies including umbrellas. Will definitely stay again, just can’t beat this spot.

Yet Another Great Stay!

This was our second year staying at this home, and the second stay was a great as the first! The home is comfortable, clean, and a short walk across the street to the beach! Property managers, including the wonderful gentleman on site, are a pleasure to work with. The home has everything you need, including a washer and dryer. Enjoy the deck, enjoy the grill, and enjoy the peace and quiet of North Myrtle Beach!

Great location

The property was situated perfectly for anyone wanting to go to a lively beach everyday. However there were some issues with cleanliness as well as communication. The caretaker introduced himself a couple days into the stay and belatedly told us about the washer and dryer in the back. There were also many bugs and cockroaches in the place (which isn’t that uncommon). Lastly, they said we could grill but didn’t provide the propane… now that was frustrating.

North Myrtle Beach

Gia’s house is just as in pictures! Beautifully decorated and very efficient! The master bedroom king bed was so comfy. We spent a lot of time relaxing on spacious deck with our dog. The beach is just 3 houses away so easy walk!

Excellent Location

Quiet area and a short walk to the beach and to Boulineau’s. The apartment was what we expected from the posting: clean, roomy, updated design and plenty of amenities including beach accessories.

Delightful - Just "beachy"

We had a wonderful laid back relaxing week at the beach after Christmas! This property is clean and just as charming as the online photos. It is more spacious than it appears. The owners are friendly and were helpful during our stay. We brought our dogs- they loved the outdoor patio (with gate) We will keep this in our top list of favorite spots to return for sure!

Great Spot - Great Vacation

Everything was exactly as it was advertised. Gia was very responsive and accommodating. We also took our two dogs and stayed two weeks. Bean was great and very available for questions and suggestions. I highly recommend this property.

Nice place close to beach

Nice place very close to beach and shopping. Lovely place which permitted our dog. The owners were very nice and attentive to our needs. We were sad to leave 2 days early to avoid Hurricane Ian but that was the right decision. We sincerely hope the owners can recover from any storm effects quickly so that they can continue to provide a lovely place to stay. All the best Gio, Kevin and Bean.

Perfect!!

I love this property!! Looks just like the pictures, very cute and nicely decorated. Beds we're comfortable. Gia got back to be immediately whenever I had a question. Her dad Bean in the caretaker of the house and is so nice. I'll definitely be back. Trying to figure out dates now. And location is perfect!! In the middle of everything but on a nice quiet street and the beach is only a block away.

Perfect spot!

This was the best spot for a family vacation with our dog. Great location - less than a minute walk to the beach. Close to restaurants and shops. Quiet neighborhood. Gia was so responsive with the few questions we had. Can’t wait to come back!

North Myrtle Beach

This was a great place for a family beach- makes for such a nice week when you are literally ONE BLOCK from beach access! North Myrtle is wonderful and easy walking access to grocery, ice cream and souvenir shops. We've stayed in Gia & Kevin's properties twice and both have been a nice experience. We're grateful they allow pets and the property was well-suited for our pup with the gated rooftop deck. Also at the end of a dead-end street with friendly neighbors, kids played ball in the street and fetch with the dog without worry. Everything you need for the beach is already there! Gia and family were very helpful and respectful of our family. Much Appreciated!

Perfect Cherry Grove location

I cannot say enough about this location that would truly describe how much we loved it. Size was perfect for our fam of 4 though there was an extra bedroom if we had more. My pug was welcome with open arms and quickly made friends with Bean, Gia’s dad who lives on site (separate housing). The decor was perfect, not overwhelming and literally has everything you need. This includes beach chairs and toys if needed. The laundry unit was amazing as it is a newer Samsung washer and dryer. I felt extra fancy and found myself looking for more laundry to do 😁. Everything was very clean, not a speck of sand anywhere despite the proximity to the beach. I’m not sure how they managed that as we seemed to always drag sand up to the deck. (There is an outdoor shower that has a detachable head so u can spray down chairs and such.) Speaking of the deck, it’s huge. They’ve placed nice shading so that u can sit out there for hours—which we did—day and night. The gate closes so that u can let your pet hang outside as well. Don’t be fooled by not having central air—you would never ever know. It can be like an ice box if you so desired it. The fans on the units are automatic and were not a bother as far as sound. I found myself preferring the fan run at night just for white noise. The housing is quiet and u don’t seem to get a lot of outside noise. That was a big plus. Kitchen was perfectly stocked with all kinds of cookware. I saw a grill though we didn’t use it. The location is key. U are right across the street from the beach. Maybe 2 min walk. U get the breeze continuously off the ocean which was super nice on the deck. Shopping is only a few blocks away. They have a grocery store, souvenir shop, and an ice cream shop in one location. We saw a pub and several restaurants that are also in same block. All of these could be walkable as well. Out of curiosity, I checked pricing on locations near us—Meander on Over is an excellent deal, esp with all the perks and less packing u have to do. It was well worth every penny! For those who like nighttime tv, there are 2 smart TVs. We didn’t even need our Firestick that I brought just in case. Everything was ready to go. Overall, we LOVED it and hope to come back year after year. You won’t find better hosts anywhere! Jamie and Becky Williams

Treats you like family!

I never expected to find such an amazing family when I rented this adorable beach house! Not only did the owners think of every detail for renters but they are the nicest people you could ever meet! From kitchen supplies to beach supplies, they have everything you could need! Gia and her family treat you like family! And if you are lucky enough to stay here, spending time with them and Bean will be an extra bonus to your trip!

Hi,

I'm Pamela, your go-to gal, I'll assist you with any questions or concerns you may have regarding Dunes Gables or our new property, Meandering around
Your Host's, Gia & Kevin, live in Japan, they're a Navy family and were transferred last year for Kevin's last 3 years of active service. They will not be setting foot on American soil again until 2022!!

I have assisted Kevin and Gia, with the purchase of both of their properties. We have had a very busy year, Dunes Gables, our first property is doing really well and we have launched the first unit of the multi-family property in Cherry Grove, for the 2020 season. We strive to make our homes comfortable, and truly hope that you feel at home while visiting one of our properties.

This year we have a "new" addition to our hosting group, Gia's dad, "Bean", his nickname, he's on-site in Cherry Grove, if you stay here you'll get to know him, if you need help at Dunes Gables, he'll be coming by to take care of things.

I have traveled and used Air BnB in many areas of the US and abroad. I am available to you via phone, and will assist you in any way I can. There is so much to do in the Myrtle Beach, both properties and their respective locations are central to so many activities.
