This masterfully crafted Executive Lodge is located in Old Greenwood outside of Truckee, North Lake Tahoe’s Premier Four-Season Resort Community and framed by eighteen holes of perfection, courtesy of Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf. 600 acres of towering Pines and meadows.

The home sits on over ¾ acre at the end of a private cul-de-sac on the 14 Fairway and features 4 suites, full guest quarters w/complete kitchen, 100 year old reclaimed Timbers, spacious great room, professional kitchen, 2 large stone fireplaces + 5 spacious exterior patios and decks which maximize privacy and unobstructed views of Northstar Mountain and ski resort.

Take advantage of a free shuttle to Northstar Village right from your door. Leave your car behind and enjoy the great shopping, restaurants, and skiing Northstar has to offer.

There is an option of accessing the Private state of the art Club House facility on site which includes a restaurant, heated pool, hot tub, spa services, kids playroom, steam room, and exercise gym. This is a great place to start your day with breakfast or unwind at the end of the day. This is a separate fee.

PHENOMENAL PROPERTY

This is a FANTASTIC property that really is not to be believed. It has EVERY amenity to suit any aged guest. The owner is TREMENDOUS to work with. We hated to leave & will definitely return at our 1st available opportunity

Fantastic house in a fantastic location

This is the perfect location for a quick and easy golf trip for a group of 10-12. It’s minutes from tons of top notch courses and the house was great to hang out and relax after a long day on the course.

Great place for a family

There are a lot of amenities for small kids and adults. We rented it with another family and comfortably fit 5 kids and 4 adults. We got lucky and had snow so the kids spent a lot of time outside playing. It was a nice, safe, and had a big area for the kids to sled down small hills and play.

Perfect for families

This beautiful house suited our family gathering perfectly, with bathrooms for each bedroom and many gathering spaces. The property was set in a pretty and peaceful community and it is conveniently located near Truckee. Having access to the pool club was a huge bonus.

Amazing group stay

It was just perfect for a large group of 8 adults. Fully wwstocked and established kitchen, jacuzzi and ample beds. Steve was also super accessible and friendly. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property with great amenities

We loved staying at this property. The house is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you need. Although, some appliances were outdated/old and were a little difficult to use. The big hot tub was a huge plus for us! Overall, we enjoyed staying here and the host was very responsive. He even helped us get free shuttle passes to Northstar.

Perfect 4th of July in Old Greenwood

We loved this house, it was very spacious and well stocked for our group. Old greenwood is a special place and we loved our time here. We spent time at the pavilion, easy to drive to donner or Lake Tahoe. S’mores by the fire pit was a highlight for the kids as well as the Hot tub! We can’t wait to return!

Wonderful stay

We had a great stay, despite the area being impacted by the unexpected power outage on our last night. Communication with Steve was easy and he was great on the phone when we called to chat through early check out options. The home was very spacious for our group and so convenient, being on the golf course and near the Tahoe mountain clubhouse.

Amazing property

This property is amazing and location is great. The home is large enough for multiple families. The game room is perfect for kids and adults to have fun. It snowed while we were there and the kids had a blast playing right in the backyard without having to go anywhere. This was our second time staying at this property and we hope to go back soon. Would highly recommend

Family Time

Spent a few days with our five grandkids and two of our adult children. Had a great time in a spacious and well appointed home. Great activities for the kids and close to other amenities. Would do it again for sure. Well worth it.

Wonderful stay at the Oversized Cabin

I highly recommend this 4-bedroom “cabin”. We used all 4800sq’ of it. Each of the four bedrooms had their own full bathroom + an additional full bathroom upstairs in the game room (that has an extra large couch that converts to another bed - if needed). I was impressed with all the “patios/balconies” so each person had their own personal space in the mornings to enjoy coffee or teas. I counted six of those areas + the fire pit circle. House was well built with heavy doors; soundproofing sleeping quarters. I’m referring this “house” to our friends and neighbors partly because the owner Steve was so easy to work with. This was our first time renting here and we’re coming back next summer for a week.

Great house for a group

We had a great time in Truckee and really enjoyed this house. Having 4 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms was great for our group of 4 couples plus the garage apartment area for the teenagers. Enjoyed the pool table and Foosball table in the apartment as well. Kitchen was great and well stocked. Plenty of room for everyone to hang out together for meals and games. Nice to have garage space for 3 cars. Hot tub was great too. Had lots of snow and the streets were plowed regularly. The only challenge was the location / proximity to northstar with the holiday crowds. Normal transit time is 20 min but on the busy holiday days, either don’t go skiing or be prepared for very long transit (2-3 hours) to get to and from the mountain. Leave early regardless so you can get parking where you can walk to the lift instead of having to wait for shuttle. There is a shuttle from the neighborhood as well which some took - earlier departure is also better. Steve was very responsive and helpful. Thanks!

Great house overall but needs a good cleaning

A few little issues but overall a great house. The fold out bed in the game room didn’t work and the air hockey table has a broken cord so it didn’t work either. The cleaning company also didn’t do a very good job (trash was still full, cobwebs throughout the house, dirty floors, cabinets are a mess with dishes and pantry goods spread out in no particular order, etc.) but we dealt and had a great time. I recommend a thorough cleaning and reorganizing before anyone else stays here. We also had one of the kids who slept in the bunk room wake up with multiple spider bites, and we did see spiders throughout the house, so it makes me wonder if all the bedding was really washed before our stay. :(
