Remodeled 3 bedroom - perfect location for beach trips and beautiful sunsets

Cute, totally remodeled cottage in small neighborhood 4 miles north of South Haven. Conveniently located to all South Haven has to offer, wineries, fruit stands, and lots of beaches and 15 miles south of Saugatuck/Douglas. Enjoy Lake Michigan sunsets right at end of street!

House has 3 bedrooms: 2 have queen beds, and one has twin over double bunk. Includes WiFi and TV with Roku for streaming. Huge deck off family room has table and chairs, a gas grill and a gas fire pit perfect for s'mores in the evening. Private side deck off primary bedroom is great for enjoying your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Fully equipped kitchen with island that seats 4 and dining table for up to 6. New appliances including full sized washer and dryer. Home has central air and heat, ceiling fan in family room. Two bathrooms: one with claw foot tub only, other with tub/shower combo.

Towels, sheets and beach towels are provided. Tram access to a small private beach is at the end of the street and South Haven's beautiful public beaches are a just a short drive away.

We (family with 2 small kids) spent a week here in mid-August. We had such a nice time. The neighborhood was so pleasant. Loved the tram down to the private beach area (big hit with the kids!). Short drive to shops and restaurants in downtown South Haven. The house was very spacious inside and even roomier than it appears in the photos. Beds were comfortable. All the amenities needed for a great vacation. Communicating with the hosts was super easy and Kate and EJ were super responsive and helpful. Would love to stay again next summer!

Always a great stay!

This is our 4th time staying at the cottage! Always nice and clean, great access to association beach and very responsive hosts. Nice and comfortable, can't wait to come back again soon!

Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Clean, very nice home. Walk down a block and there is the most beautiful view of Lake Michigan. Taking the tram to the beach was the best! Neighbors are close by so if you’re looking for privacy, this is not it. Large deck in the back. Thoughtful hosts who go the extra mile to welcome guests.

We enjoyed our stay at this house. The hosts were great with communication and took care of some of the issues we had quickly. The house was pretty dirty when we arrived. The living room furniture is also pretty uncomfortable. We struggled to hang out in there in the evenings. We did very much enjoy the tram down to the lake. There are still steps after you get off the tram. It was not an issue for us, but just a heads up for those go struggle with steps. Overall, we were pleased with the hosts, but would probably not stay here again.

We had a very relaxing stay! Lake Michigan is just a short walk down the road. If you’re wondering what the “tram” is, it’s a small tram that takes you from the top of the road down to the beach. Otherwise, you’d have to walk down (and back up!) quite a few stairs. The tram fits four people at a time.We enjoyed some beautiful sunsets during our stay. For swimming, we did head into town for the nicer sandy beaches, but we still had a great time skipping rocks, walking along the shore, and paddleboarding at the beach near the house. It was also a nice bonus to have four beach chairs and beach towels provided. House had plenty of room for two adults, our 20 year old daughter & 18 year old son to spread out.

Beautiful home in a perfect location.

This was the perfect place for our family vacation. We grilled out every evening, enjoyed the Private beach area and a beautiful evening sunset. Our family will cherish the memories forever. Thank you for the hospitality

Gem of a House

The house is adorable and clean. It is very well maintained and much bigger than it appears to be on the outside. The neighborhood is fantastic and the owners are very accommodating. I highly recommend!

3 Generation Girls Lake Michigan Week

This was a great vacation spot for my two daughters, only granddaughter, and me! Out of town, but close to town, and close to Lake Michigan. The cottage was so cute, clean, and comfortable for our group! The owners were also easy to contact and quick to respond! Loved it!

Wonderful getaway

Truly enjoyed our stay. Perfectly located between south haven and saugatuk which made it easy to visit both! House was clean and had all the necessary kitchen needs to cook from the house. A short walk to the end of the street for beach access and beautiful views of Lake Michigan. Would definitely return. We had an amazing trip!

Friend-Cation Success!!!

This house was PERFECT for our group of college friends to gather and hangout! The back deck was our favorite gathering spot with the fire pit. Sunsets at the beach were amazing and relaxing. We love the Eventide Cottage and hope to return!

Great House and Location!

We wanted to spend our time between Saugatuck and South Haven and this house was perfect! Comfortable, clean and just the right amount of room for 4 friends. Every comfort was thought of, like extra charging cables, some DVDs & books, a kitchen outfitted with anything needed and nice additions like beach chairs, towels, and the gas fire table we used every night! Best part was the excellent communication from the owners. I would definitely recommend this house for your stay in South Haven!

Perfect home base in southwest MI

Out of all the places we’ve stayed in southwest Michigan, this cottage was our favorite due to the location of the cottage to the shore, on a lovely quiet street, off the Blue Star Highway and perfectly situated between South Haven and Saugatuck/Douglas. The cottage fit our family of six perfectly and we loved witnessing stunning sunsets at the end of the street each night. Any communication with the owner was attentive and courteous. We cannot wait to return!

A perfect cottage for our family!

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage! It was perfectly laid out for the 5 of us-2 adults and 3 teenagers. We loved the coziness of the house and the beach decor throughout. We spent mornings and evenings in the spacious backyard laying in the hammock, tossing a frisbee and making Smores. The private beach at the end of the road and taking the tram down to watch the sunset was our biggest highlights of the stay. Everyone had a wonderful time and the hosts were always available and quick to respond with any questions we had. We would love to come back!

Everything was cutely decorated and modern! We had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cookware and some common spices. We also had plenty of towels and bedding for our family of 5. We enjoyed the grill on the back deck and the games in the front room as well as the Roku TV for inside downtime. The walk to the beach was easy and we went every day. The signs on the lifts were entertaining to read! Sunsets were awesome and the water felt wonderful to swim in. It was a quick drive into downtown South Haven and there are so many places to eat and shop there. Would definitely recommend this cottage!

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was in a perfect location to enjoy activities in both South Haven and Saugatuck not to mention the convenient beach just down the road. The house was stocked with lots of activities to use right at the house which we didn’t use because we were on the go most of the time. We did use the beach chairs almost every day because that’s what we were there for. The kitchen was also well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. We did stay in several nights instead of eating out so we could enjoy the beach longer. We also enjoyed the Roku TV as we had family movie nights. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions and were gracious hosts. My daughter was very appreciative of the welcome gifts found on the island upon arrival.
