You will be conveniently located by water as well as by restaurants, breweries, and more!

This charming vacation rental is perfect for a peaceful getaway or an adventurous vacation. With a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living space, you will feel right at home. Step outside and relax on the patio, take a dip in the lake, or explore the surrounding area. No matter your preference, Anchor Here offers something for everyone. Book your stay today and start making unforgettable memories by the water!

Two primary suites are located on the upper level. One has its own private balcony with beautiful water views. Perfect for relaxing or drinking your morning coffee.

Access to the sandy community beach is only a short distance from the back patio. It offers a flat-level landscape.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
No Smoking, No EV Charging, No Events/Parties, Pet Friendly (Max of 1 dog). To ensure a smooth stay, guests will be asked to complete a brief rental agreement and registration form after booking

Perfect Place

Brought my boat and the private launch/dock area was the perfect set up. The townhouse was equally as nice. Had a great stay!!!

Great Location

We were really impressed with this property. The view of the lake was incredible, and we enjoyed walking our paddle boards directly over to the water. Restaurants are within walking distance to include a cute coffee and ice cream shop. We also played pickleball on the property and were excited we thought to bring our paddles. Thank you for the great stay!

The place is cute and clean, and in a great location. Bar next store can be loud, although it gets quiet at 10. Only reason not a 5 is that it's not as well stocked as other VRBO places at which I've stayed. Bring your own Kuerig pods or coffee, or they have a coffee shop next door. Bring your own shampoo and soap. I would definitely stay there again!

a great place to stay

The townhouse was very clean, also attractive with a comfortable bed. The view of the lake was lovely with a long expanse of grass and trees. We enjoyed our stay at Anchor Here and hope it will be available the next time we come to Lake Anna.

Great stay!

My husband and I had a fun and relaxing trip at Anchor Here! It was our second time staying there and we’re big fans. The view is beautiful, we love the lake access and swimming area, and it’s convenient to Lake Anna’s restaurants. Highly recommend!

Great location

Great place, friendly neighbors. One draw back, we had issues on multiple days with the reserved parking being taken by non residents and guest, but overall a great weekend and a great location at Lake Anna

Second time at this property. Great location. Don't love having to make and strip the beds while on vacation, but enjoyed the unit and would rent again.

Perfect location for the family

Great area for swimming with young children, boating, stand up paddle boarding. Extremely short walk to tap house and restaurants. Short drive to grocery store. No complaints. I’d stay here again for sure.

there were sleeping accommodations for SEVEN people, but we were limited to 4.

The Lake Anna VIEW was stellar, but other factors caused a rating of 4 stars.

Descent place for q quick get away

Nice little place for a quick get away, kitchen is very well equipped, close enough to the water. I think they could improve their dock quite a bit or their launch deck as well for boat owners. Other than that it's close to everything so that's a huge plus!

This townhouse has a lovely situation backing up to the water, including its own boat slip. We found it comfortable and convenient, as advertised. There are multiple restaurants next door, which at first worried us about noise at night, but the music we could hear from the Taphouse was only on the weekends and it stopped according to the local quiet hours rules. (We also benefited from being able to go to dinner by walking about 200 feet.) We loved renting a pontoon boat and hiking the state park, which is accessible with a short drive. We loved watching the ducks and learning about Anna Quacker, a one-legged duck that was rescued lovingly by one of the neighbors and who now goes out for supervised swims three times a day. The rental company was very easy to work with, and responsive to our questions. Note, the VRBO listing states that the unit has 3 bathrooms. There are two full bathrooms upstairs, and a powder room downstairs.

So Relaxing

We very much enjoyed the home and truly appreciated all the nice touches the owners included. The lakefront location is spectacular and we loved having restaurants and a brewery right beside us and other places so close. The only request to the mgmt company I would make is to better organize info. There was a lot to distill in multiple emails trying to first figure out how to get into the house after hours and then in the packet with key as we tried to determine what to do at departure. Thanks!

Mostly nice

Nice location and townhouse. The bad parts were you have to gather and dispose of your own trash, and you have to put on and remove your own linens. The property manager told us to take the trash to the dumpster behind their office at check out but someone from Food Lion said they were just for the businesses. The Roku only had one remote that worked for the two devices, one upstairs and one downstairs, and the toaster didn't work. Everything else was pretty nice.

We enjoyed the location of this townhouse and it was decorated nicely. The staff at check in were helpful and kind. My recommendations to the owner would be to have cable and faster wifi, but obviously not the end of the world. I would like to complain that the kitchen floor made my feet dirty which led me to believe the floors weren't cleaned and also 2 cooking sheets had food on them and two of three pots I used were dirty, so I was disappointed with that as I would think it would be especially important with the times were are in right now. Plus I am fine loading the dishwasher before I leave, but waiting to unload it before I leave when I am on vacation after all the fees we paid is asking to much. We pretty much did all our own cleaning before we left.

Nice Weekend Getaway

Our family of 4 had a great stay at Anchor Here! The location was perfect as the lake was right outside the back door and there were many dining options within walking distance. The after hours check in was easy as well.

Nice stay at Anchor Here

Great location with a nice view of the lake. Loved having the restaurants and tap house in very easy walking distance. Townhouse very nice with everything we needed. However it would have been nice if we could have been able to use the boat lift on the boat slip so it wouldn't have beaten and banged the side of the boat so bad, especially as low as the water had been.
