Family Celebration

We had a wonderful stay at Kati Kaan. The property is as advertised, Jorge, Jackie and the team took great care of us with delicious food and drinks. They orchestrated a great birthday dinner for us complete with cake. We were so sad we had to leave!

Paradise! Amazing!

This place is beautiful! We were in awe by the beauty, cleanliness, the ocean view, the food, staff, just everything. We can’t wait to come back. My kids enjoyed the pools, the ocean waves, and all the fun drinks that were made for them every day. The rooms were perfect and the beds were so comfortable. The food though, we loved everything, my kids ate everything. We were amazed by what was served and how we were treated. They knew what we needed before we did and the staff is just so friendly, but they also gave us the space we wanted as well. Thank you so much! What a perfect place!!!

An amazing house with an amazing staff!

If you are looking for a relaxing slice of paradise just moments away from the exciting village of Tulum, look no further than KatiKaan. We were planning on having most of our meals in town but quickly learned Jackie’s food was the best in town. We ended up staying at the villa more than we had anticipated because we were so relaxed and the staff was so attentive to our every need. Jorge, the house manager, seemed to know what we wanted before we even asked. Make sure and try his delicious fresh squeeze margarita. Have breakfast on the beach with your feet in the sand, happy hour at sunset on the roof and dinner under the stars. You won’t be disappointed, I can’t wait to find a time to return to this special place one day.

Amazing 5 star Experience

The home blends beautifully with the surroundings emphasizing the symbiotic, poetic relationship of architecture and nature. We loved how there were thoughtfully constructed places to nestle in and contemplate the beauty. Terraces on multiple different levels connect the villa to both the land and the water, anchoring the house in nature and gives it a welcoming presence. Enjoyed how the design simultaneously divides and connects, separating the "public" open-plan living zone from the privacy and quiet seclusion of the neighboring bedrooms and bathrooms. But the main characters were Jorge, Jackie and their family which made us feel like royalty. Can we talk about the “where the earth touches the sky” heavenly food? Wow! We have eaten around the world and the authentic, fresh, delicious, perfectly crafted food was second to none. The hospitality was genuine you could tell they loved welcoming guests - arrangements for incredible excursions away from the crowds, truly enriched our experience. Jorge was master at anticipating and taking care of our every need - never have we experienced anything that comes close to this. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return.

Fantastic Place!

This is a fantastic place! Equally great for a romantic getaway or gathering with family and friends. The villa is very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The private beach is a little bit of heaven! The meals and service were excellent thanks to the wonderful staff Jacki & Jorge. Can't wait to return!

Tropical Beachfront Paradise!

My second stay at Kati Kaan was as amazing as the first! I just couldn’t stay away. This place is magical. It is one of the most euphoric places I have ever visited, beautiful, relaxing, at peace with nature yet offering all the creature comforts. The staff greeted us with a warm welcome, big smiles, and cool margaritas, just what we needed after a long day of travel. Jacki produced amazing food and her husband Jorge provided excellent service with a few jokes in between. It is a tropical beachfront paradise!

Kati Kaan is spectacular!

Our stay was an end of the year escape from reality and we couldn’t have chosen a better place--Kati Kaan was spectacular! Seeing the sun popping up over the gently lapping ocean waves from our own private beach was amazing. We could almost believe we were the only people on the planet. We loved the design of the house, the mix of Mayan and modern, so bright, airy, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. The staff magically kept everything clean and organized, but were rarely seen. The beds were a dream and the AC was nice to have the one night we needed it. Jackie is an incredibly talented cook and there wasn’t a single bite of food she prepared that we didn’t love—from seafood to chicken enchiladas to chocolate cake, it was all delicious. Jorge made sure our stay was problem-free, served superb cocktails and coffee, and arranged our lagoon boat ride/float adventure—the perfect house manager. They were both so friendly and eager to make sure our stay was wonderful. We really couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thank you so much for sharing the charm of Kati Kaan with us. We will be back!

A Truly Incredible Vacation

Kati Kaan is special. It's not just a rental home - you're getting a whole experience. We are avid travelers and this was one of our favorite vacations to-date. The house is gorgeous and very well-equipped with everything you could need and thoughtful details. The location is perfect - - isolated in the jungle with no one in sight on the pristine beach, yet totally accessible to Tulum (Zona Hoteleria) for dinners, shopping, bars, etc. But the best part is the staff. Jorge the "butler" (but really, so much more) is wonderful - he recommended and booked us an eco tour, booked massages at the house (and cut down coconuts the day prior so we could drink fridge-cold coconut water after the massages), drove us to dinners and orchestrated everything. His cocktails are OUTSTANDING. His thoughtfulness is unparalleled. Jacki's cooking is amazing - well though-out meals, often themed around one region of Mexico, full of flavor. So delicious - she is incredibly talented. And then we also had four other staff, providing daily housekeeping, turn-down service each night and attending to anything else we could possibly need. They literally anticipated our needs before we could say anything - absolutely first-class hospitality. We ended up extending our stay, and heard that most guests do. So, if that's not reason enough to book Kati Kaan right now I'm not sure what is. We hope to be back in the near future!

Private Paradise

Breathtaking property with a perfect balance of privacy, proximity and professional service. Our group of two couples recently enjoyed a best-in-class stay at Kati Kaan villa. Pictures can't capture every thoughtful detail that owners and staff have incorporated into the property and its amenities. Words can't describe the kindness and care provided by a highly professional staff. And neither can do justice for the outstanding meals Jackie prepared. We appreciated unparalleled privacy at the villa, in the pool and on the beach. The surrounding environment was beautiful and peaceful - with only the sounds of waves and wildlife. In evenings, when we could finally bring ourselves to step away for a few hours, Tulum's amazing nightlife was just a short drive north and Jorge was always A+ in chauffeuring us about town. It was a great privilege to spend time at Kati Kaan with this team. A truly exceptional experience that will not be forgotten. The only thing we will do differently next time: stay longer!!

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Kati Kaan!

The villa, setting, staff, and food are all top notch. The villa is new, spotless, and gorgeous. It looks just like the photos. I especially loved that the pool, living area, and beach are all on the same level. The setting is amazing, private white sandy beach, palm trees, and jungle vibe. I cannot say enough positives about the staff. They were consistently welcoming, helpful, and jovial. They managed the perfect balance of always being available, yet never sacrificing our privacy. Most remarkable was the food and beverage service. Jacki cooks wonderful meals. I really appreciated the variety of her menus including some authentic Mayan and Mexican dishes. Her husband Jorge makes the best drinks! Ask him for cocktails at sunset on the rooftop deck overlooking the lagoon. I can’t wait to return. Kati Kaan is a magical place.
