The Beach club its open from 11 am till 6 pm offering a great international sea food menu. There is also a therapeutic spa for a relaxing massage or deep tissue treatment. The Beach club also offers a small marina service for charter fishing boats or amazing snorkeling tours out to the corral reef located only 5 minute boat ride, but if you are a little bit more adventurous and like a bit of extreme sports, there is a kite boarding-surfing school a few steps away.

Great location, phenomenal staff

Stayed for 7 days with 7 adults, 2 children, and an infant. The staff was amazing. Super attentive, knowledgeable, helpful, and great people to get to know. The house and pools were cleaned daily and the property was perfect for being able to spend time together and also have our own space. There was also security all the time so we felt safe leaving the kids in their own rooms. We’ll likely be returning next year are considering this house again due to the size, location, and great staff but the house does require some maintenance that staff is aware of.

Magical

Our eight days at the Hacienda were magical! It was perfect for our nine adult family members. The Hacienda's backyard is the white sand beach. The very little seaweed is raked several times a day. The sunrises were spectacular. Private beach loungers and the restaurant next door (which delivers) made for perfect beach days. The Hacienda itself wonderfully fit our whole family with everyone feeling like they had their own private space when needed. Daily cleaning of the whole home was silently done by meticulous house cleaners. Fresh towels bath/beach, comfortable beds and a ocean facing balcony topped off the experience. Communication with Cynthia/Sivia was seamless. And like everyone who took care of the Hacienda, very friendly and welcoming. We will be back!

The Hacienda was perfect. The location was right on the beach and we enjoyed staying there immensely. The staff was very accommodating and Cynthia went above and beyond to make us feel pampered. Thank you for such a memorable experience.

Perfect Place to Retreat

Very attentive service from the property manager Cynthia and the staff. Secure location right on the beach. Hasienda was excellent space for enjoying down time. It was everything we needed and wanted in our holiday in Tulum! Gracias to the Staff !

Perfect location!

Rented the house for a birthday week with friends. Sylvia and David helped with everything along the way, from groceries to transportation and even set up a birthday celebration with a chef, bartender, decorations and a mariachi band at the house. It was perfect. We all loved that we had our own roped in part of the beach with our own loungers and a giant table and chairs on the beach under the palm trees. The people watching was very fun. On days we didn’t want to make lunch we’d order from the waiters on the beach and they would bring food and drinks directly to us. Amazing trip. Thank you for everything.

Extraordinary hospitality!

We stayed in the hacienda for five nights and found it to be a perfect base from which to explore Tulum and the surrounding areas. Everyone from the owner to the property manager to the security professionals could not have been more accessible and gracious. We only had six adults staying in the home, but I feel sure that the stated capacity would not be a problem. Very comfortable all around!

The house is terrific and the staff was so accommodating. What made it even more special is that the beach had very limited kelp buildup but all the other beaches were terrible so we all felt like we had the best beach experience possible in tulum!

Family trip

We are a family of 12 which included 2 children. This place is absolutely amazing. The staff and everyone who works there could not have been nicer. If you truly want a place to relax and enjoy this is it. We will be going back. If security is on your mind, there is 24 hour security provided, never had a problem.

Great place for the price

This place is run by nice people and right on the public beach. The house is spacious and the bedrooms are air conditioned. The pool is a small plunge pool, not a real swimming pool and the public areas can be hot. The appliances and televisions are not perfectly maintained but the staff is responsive. The staff clean every day and leave fresh beach towels. Overall it's a great place, right on a beautiful beach, with six large bedrooms. We had a wonderful time.

Incredible villa - Perfect for a beach wedding!

We rented this villa for our family to stay in during the weekend of our beach wedding, which was held at El Paraiso Beach Club. The property, staff and service were all top notch...they made everything incredible for us and it was the most memorable weekend of our lives! The house is beyond beautiful - the photos don't do it justice, and the rooms were each extremely comfortable. The best part is the villa comes with its own private beach area out front where you can order food and drinks from the beach club next door. After our wedding weekend, we decided we're going to come back here year after year with our families - it is such an amazing place! A HUGE thanks to Silvia, Victoria, David, and everyone else for their hospitality!!!

Best Weekend Ever!

We rented out the house for our beach wedding and it was phenomenal! The location is stunning, the house is beautiful, clean, spacious, and really, really fun! The wedding went perfectly and Silvia, the manager of the property, was so lovely and always around if we needed anythingl. All the staff are so nice and helpful, we had very little issues and if we needed to ask questions someone was always there. It was a truly magical weekend and I can't recommend this place enough!

WE WERE ROBBED, OWNER WAS NOT SYMPATHETIC

We booked Hacienda Paraiso for a girls weekend - there were 12 of us total and staying in a safe place was our number one priority. We chose the house because it was indicated that there was 24/7 security. In short we were robbed on the second night, 3 laptops, 2 phones, 1000USD in cash and a passport that "appeared" in a safe after we had left. This all occurred while we were upstairs in the living room, the majority of the bedrooms are downstairs. There were 2 guards on duty that night, neither spoke English, and we have no idea of their whereabouts during the short time that the robbery took place. Along with the manager on duty, we agreed that it would be best to have the police come during the day to report the crimes. We were then told that we had to go file at the police station and as women we did not feel comfortable doing this without an english speaking translator/advocate. We were in touch with David, the owner, as soon as it happened. He was in Germany so was not in touch with us until the next evening. We unfortunately did not have the best interaction with him. He was very defensive over the situation rather than sympathetic. He kept saying over and over that we should have had the police come and could not understand why we did not want them to come at the time and that we should “be more open-minded”. He also stated that he would offer no compensation if “that’s what we were looking for”. Up until that moment I had mentioned NOTHING about compensation; we were just looking for help and wanted to know that we would be safe for the remainder of our stay. During checkout Silvia (who had been out of town up until then) came to the house to get the full story. We communicated perfectly and relayed our side of the story. She had apparently gotten many sides, all which were wrong. One of them being that the police showed up and we refused to let them in - 100% not true. We were never told there were police on the property. We felt very comfortable with her so one of the girls went with her to the police station to try and file a report. When they arrived the police station was “closed for lunch”. So in the end no one was able to file a report. To top of the eventful weekend off, one of the ladies returned home with what her doctor in NY identified as bed bug bites. We were very disappointed in how this whole matter was dealt with. As said before, we felt there was no one on our side when we had been completely violated.

Right on the beach!

We stayed at Hacienda Paraiso with 6 adults and 8 children for Spring Break. We had a great time and plenty of room in the 6 bedroom home! The rooms are nicely appointed with simple décor. We had housekeeping daily and even had the chef make many meals that were outstanding! The house is situated on a very popular beach, which was fun because you have access to the restaurant and a server will actually bring you your drink to the house! There is a gelato shop, beach side massages and a fish spa (You have to try). Everyone was very nice and accommodating. I would recommend this place to friends and family that want to explore Tulum. The Nuevo Tulum is only about a 5-10 min. cab ride, and there are always cabs available outside the house. Very easy! Silvia the house manager was very accommodating, anything that we asked for she provided! The house is located right on the beach, it does have a pool but I would say that it's the size of a oversized hot tub. The kids still had a great time playing in the pool and ocean.

Hacienda Paraiso

We can't say enough about our stay at Hacienda Paraiso! The property itself was perfect for our large group which was three couples and our children ranging in ages from 4 to 11 and there was plenty of room for all of us. The bedrooms were spacious with fantastic views (5 with ocean views) and the living areas were great for our large group. At night the kids were spread out on the huge sectional while the adults relaxed outside on the balconies or in the kitchen / dining areas. The entire staff was amazing, starting with the Hotel/Hacienda Manager, Silvia. She took care of us as if she was our "House Mom" for the week. If we could have taken her home with us, we would have. Everyone we came in contact with during the week - our security guard, the housekeeping staff, the beach club staff, the chef, everyone - was so helpful and courteous. Lastly, the beach / location was incredible. We were not totally sold on having the beach club right next our house at first, thinking it could take away from our privacy, but it was never an issue. Our trip was during Spring Break so the beach had plenty of visitors, but it never felt crowded and the beach club staff and security was there to kindly ask anyone not in our group to stay on the beach club side of the beach. So we had the best of both worlds - action and people watching along with all of the beach club amenities (food/beverage/spa services) but with our own private area behind the Hacienda. During the week, we walked along the beach to the Ruins and to several great restaurants. We were also just a 5-7 minute cab ride to all of the other great restaurants/bars/shops along the main beach drive. If we could give the house 6 Stars, we would. Thank you to the entire staff for a memorable week and see you next year!

Parents of the Groom

Provided an exceptional "home away from home" for family of 14 travelling to our son's wedding at Akiin in Tulum. Grandparents, young parents and 6 grandchildren, ranging in age from 2 to 66! En Suite bedrooms (6) elegant, modern, exceptionally comfortable. Kitchen amenities excellent, plenty of room not only to relax, but to host the Rehearsal Dinner on the private beach. Silvia and her staff cannot do enough to make your stay comfortable, and bent over backwards to meet our very special requests (babysitters, transfers, catered breakfast on the morning after the wedding, groceries, security on beach, Tulum tour guide, etc.,etc.,). A dream come true! High praise, and highest recommendations!!

Hidden luxury gem!

We rented this stunning villa and the 10 room El Paraiso hotel for our wedding week in November. Hacienda is truly a dream come true located on the best beach in Riviera Maya. Since Tulum beach is not connected to the electrical grid, all the hotels have to generate their on power: either solar, wind or generator. Even some of the high-end boutique hotels do not have a full time electricity, and will only have power for guests from sunset to 12 or 2am...it might be great and romantic if you are on your honeymoon, but imagine confiding our 50 guests from 6 countries to a partial electricity...a lot of people would not be ok with that...so full electricity was a must have on out list. Location: El Paraiso beach is located north of the Tulum hotel zone. It's a National Park territory, so there is only a handful of properties, it makes for a very exclusive and not a highly populated area. Incredible white (and I mean really white) sand beach, stunning turquoise water...the pictures truly do not do the justice, you have to see it! Absolute paradise!!!Paraiso Beach Club is located next door, and is open for lunch and dinner as well as drinks, snacks, coffee and ice cream. It's very convenient, has fantastic service and food. Our group of 50 had many meals at the restaurant and they even arranged to have it served on the terrance at the villa under the full moon light. But the Tulum hotel zone is still just 5 min cab ride away and 10min from downtown area...so tons of other great restaurant options. Villa: from the outside the Villa looks nice, but wait until you see the decor on the inside! Beautiful custom floors, hand made heavy all wooden furniture, full size kitchen with 2 fridges, open concept, surround sound, plunge pool, 2 amazing terraces...it just doesn't end! It's huge - very spacious and well planned. 5 out of the 6 bedrooms have an ocean front view! Staff: I can not say enough regarding incredibly attentive and courteous team that takes care of this place! Silvia, who manages the Hacienda and the hotel, is an absolute doll! She is accommodating and intuitive, we couldn't have asked for more! With such a large group, we definitely needed help and she was there every step of the way: from planning months in advance to the wedding day! Her whole team, including Beatriz and Juan, is just amazing! The Hacienda and the grounds are kept spotless and well maintained. Our every question, request or issue was handled within minutes! We can't wait to return!

AMAZING HOME

This home is truly in Paradise. We stayed here for 4 nights with a group of 8 adults, a baby and a toddler... the house is immaculate, everything is new... the only house on this stretch of beach. The beach is amazing. There were other comments about it being on a public beach... but all beached in Mexico are public. I didn't feel it was overcrowded. We had a nice area in front of the house to layout. Plus, it was great having the beach bar next door to get food and drinks if we were lazy to do our own. The kitchen has everything you can think of... even kids plates! They are super family friendly. Had a high chair and crib all in great condition. The pool is upstairs and small.. but it was ok for a soak. Would definetly come again!! Everyone in the group loved it.

A Few Flaws

We stayed at this house in Tulum from 2/3/14 to 2/9/14. Overall we had a great family vacation. There were a few things, however, that need mentioning. The rooms were spacious with beautiful views but didn't have adequate storage (no drawers) and the lightening in the bathrooms was less than desirable. We were surprised to be in the middle of a public beach. The boundaries between public and private spaces were ill-defined. On several occasions we had people wandering up off the beach asking to use the bathrooms or just "looking around". Also, someone needs to work on the septic smell that permeated the upstairs at different times of the day. The pool was much smaller than depicted and the "therapeutic spa" consisted of three massage therapists on the beach. They were actually very good. Most disappointing was the chef prepared dinner we had the last night of our stay. There are so many great dining options in Tulum, we're sorry we wasted one of our dining opportunities on the subpar VERY expensive meal at our house. On a positive note- the rooms were always clean and well maintained. The manager, Sylvia was very helpful and responsive to our concerns. We thought Tulum was a charming area. The beaches were gorgeous and the restaurants great. There were a few we could walk to but were glad to have a car for the 10 minute drive to the "main" hotel and dining areas.

Fantastic house, fantastic stay in Tulum!

My business school friends and I couldn't have been happier with our stay at Hacienda Paraiso in Tulum. We were a large group of 16 people, and the Hacienda comfortably accommodated all of us. Every person had a bed, and every bedroom had an en suite bathroom; the house is spacious, newly renovated, and equipped with all the amenities you could ask for (TVs in every room, Wi-Fi, full-service kitchen, A/C, etc.) The house is right on the beach, and it's a truly beautiful place. An added benefit: the Hacienda is part of the El Paraiso Hotel resort, so we had access to the Hotel's beach club and bar. The Hacienda and Hotel are only a 10-15 minute drive from the beach road with many eco-chic boutique hotels and restaurants (The Hartwood, La Zebra, El Tabano, etc.), and the center of Tulum is only a 10 minute drive with other excellent restaurants and bars (El Camelo). We felt very safe the entire time, with a designated security guard on staff 24/7. We also had a wonderful concierge, Juan Jose (fondly known to our group as "JJ"), who was at our service from 8AM-8PM every day. JJ was WONDERFUL! He checked in on us regularly and made sure that we had everything that we needed for a good time. JJ arranged for snorkeling and scuba diving excursions, organized an at-home dinner catered by a private chef, and made us many restaurant reservations. There is a very large supermarket nearby, so we were also able to do the shopping we needed to make our own breakfasts and lunches. I would highly recommend the Hacienda for larger groups of family (including children) and/or friends. A wonderful experience from start-to-finish!

One of a Kind Luxury Villa with Resort Services Included in Tulum

I was fortunate enough to stay in this villa for 10 days in early July. I will have to say I was initially a little hesitant to spend that much time in Tulum. We were a big fan of Playa del Carmen but I have to say we have converted. Not only did the town of Tulum blow us away, but the villa and the resort like grounds, services and amenities were way beyond our expectations. I travel pretty much exclusively in 4 and 5 star resort properties and this one met those qualifications. I am a luxury resort consultant and I do not hesitate in giving my positive review of my stay. The value received based on the size of the home and rental rates is incomparable in Mexico and the Caribbean in my opinion. You can fit more than 12-14 people in the home pretty reasonably. The beaches directly in front of the property are some of the best I have seen in the world(over a period of 45 days, I was able to compare them directly to Anguilla, Bahamas and other beaches in the Riviera Maya). There is not a better beach for kids of all ages to use without worrying much about the safety of the waves. Surprisingly, there were a lot of food and beverage options throughout Tulum. There are more than 5 within walking distance including an onsite beach club with great quality food. The husband and wife management team are career hospitality professionals and run the business very well. I would recommend this property for anyone looking for the true, quintessential "beach vacation". You will not be disappointed.
