Diamondā€™s Place is a vacation get away on 20 acres. 1100 sqft wrap around covered porch overlooking a 3/4 acre private pond. The pond is well stocked with bass and brim for easy catching. Large fire pit with log benches between the house and pond.
House has 5 bedrooms, 6 beds + a toddler bed. Open floor plan which accommodates large gatherings easily. Great sound system with speakers in the living room and porch! Guests are able to connect their device to the sound system and enjoy their music inside and out. The pond includes a paddle boat and there are life jackets in the barn. Downstairs has another full size fridge, pool table, dart board, living room area with Roku tv & other games for our guests.



The space
Smoking at the house:
There is a 1100 square foot covered porch which is a great place to enjoy a smoke with friends. In consideration of guests who do not smoke we ask all guests to refrain from smoking inside.

Security cameras:
There are security cameras outside the home, on all entrances and parking areas. There is also one security camera in the downstairs garage.

Folding tables and chairs available:
There are around 12 assorted folding chairs and two card tables in the foyer closet There are also 3 six foot, 1 eight foot, and 1 five foot folding table in the downstairs garage for our guests use. These are included with your booking.

For large and / or formal events, we have up to 90 new white folding chairs available for rent @ $2 per chair.

We also have ten, 5 foot round banquet tables available for rent @ $10 each.
Tables and chairs are here on site. No pick up or delivery required!

Guest access...
House access:
The front door has keypad entry. Guest will be given their access code prior to check in time. Guest will have use of the entire house from the fully equipped kitchen the the two car garage on the lower level. Garage door opener is provided for guest use.

Property limits:
The property line extends to the barbed wire fence at the tree line in the back of the field and along the barbed wire fence / tree line behind the field to the right. A tenant farmer has crops planted during the year so be mindful not to damage his crop.
To the left, the property line runs along the seasonal creek at the bottom of the hill in the woods. You may even find remnants of my grandfatherā€™s barbed wire fence from when he raised cattle on the land. Feel free to walk and explore all of the property.

The white detached garage is used for storage and equipment for the property. This space is locked and not available for guest.

Regarding the bass pond...safety first!!!
Use extreme caution around the pond!!! The pond was designed as a bass pond, it gets deep fast, and small children may not be able to touch the bottom at the edge in some areas. This is a fishing pond, not a pool, if a person cannot swim well enough to get to the surface you may not be able to find them in time. If you choose to use the paddle boat, make sure to use the life jackets provided. Please pay close attention to all the children. I donā€™t think I could take having that type of tragedy happening at my family home.

We had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend with family. My niece lives about 15 minutes away from the house and she just had a baby 3 weeks ago and we wanted to visit and meet new baby. We are from Miami, Florida and it was just perfect. The only complaint we had were the beds in the basement and in the upstairs werenā€™t very comfortable. Maybe needs replacing. You feel the springs. Maybe if you use upstairs room for kids mattress are ok but two adults in 1 queen bed not the best. Downstairs same complaint. But overall everything else was perfect and great communication with owner. Thank you for having us! The place is beautiful

Beautiful house and property. Just what was needed for a bridal house and her friends. Host were easy to contact and everything was just as pictured. I would book again for large family gatherings.

We enjoyed our stay with our family. Our hosts were very responsive and pleasant to deal with. The home is as beautiful as itā€™s described. Clean, peaceful with a private pond in the back. Perfect for wedding, cookouts, and fishing. We highly recommend this property.

Family wedding

This house fit our needs perfectly. It was so comfortable and stocked with all the right necessities. The hosts were such wonderful people to work with. The yard and pond was beautiful. We enjoyed the covered porch immensely. If ever in the need for a house this size in the area again this will be our choice. Highly recommended!

One of our best rentals ever!

We have had many rentals in the past, and this by far has been one of our best experiences. We used this as a getaway for my wife's 50th birthday party. We wanted to make sure that there was enough room inside for family/friends to stay for a few days and then have a big party over the weekend. Unfortunately, it was rainy on her birthday, but there was plenty of covered deck space and inside space for eveyrone. The house had everything you could think of as well to help host the party (such as serving bowls and pots/pans for cooking). All in all it was a good experience. Wish the weather could have been a little better, but it did not stop any of the festivities.

What a wonderful house! We celebrated our daughters wedding with a welcome luau, complete with hula dancers. Everyone agreed that we could not have had a more perfect location. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable stay.

Amazing Country Getaway

The house is amazing. It is roomy, comfortable and feels like home. The layout is outstanding and the kids always had something to do. The fishing pond and paddle boat were a huge hit and the fish are always hungry. This is one of the best VRBOā€™s weā€™ve stayed in. We loved it, the kids loved it, and we canā€™t wait to come back. Jeff and Betsy were amazing hosts. You canā€™t go wrong with this amazing country getaway.

Loved every minute

We had an amazing time! Jeff was amazing with the communication, the property was gorgeous. Kids are already asking to go back! Since Iā€™ve retired in 2021 from the Marine Corp this was our family first getaway. We had such an amazing time. We loved it so much we asked if we could stay for an extra day. Definitely looking forward to another trip!

Nothing like it!

This was our second visit to this property. We canā€™t get enough of it! This house and property is beautiful! Love the layout so each couple has their privacy and the open kitchen living room for all to enjoy! The pond is fantastic and we enjoyed fishing and paddle boating. The back porch is where we lived most of the time. It was an incredible place to get all my immediate family together Betsy and Jeff were always a text away. Couldnā€™t ask for better hosts! I would highly recommend for any family!

Great for quality family time

We stayed at this property for our annual family vacation ranging from ages of 25-78. Everyone enjoyed this home, and it nicely stocked with a lot of necessities. The owner was readily available to communicate with any questions we had even after providing a detailed instruction on the home. We enjoyed the hanging out outside around the fire pit and walking around the property too.

Fabulous Family Vacation

We had the most wonderful stay at Betsy and Jeffreyā€™s house! Our four daughters and all our son in laws all got together in this wonderful 5 bedroom house that is set on a beautiful property with a fishing pond. The huge porch facing the backyard was perfect for all our meals and the house was spacious and had everything you could possibly need We canā€™t wait to return next year!

Jeff & Betsy are fantastic people. From checking in, ANY questions we had and the check-out process they were beyond attentive! We all loved the property. It truly is a special place. Perfect Wedding Venue

I recently hosted a wedding for about 100 people at this property, and I couldn't have asked for better. Jeff and Betsy went above and beyond to accommodate everything that we needed and were incredibly responsive to all communication. The property was beautifully maintained, and lots of local vendors were familiar with the place, which made working with them much easier. We were able to have the whole wedding party stay for the weekend, which was incredibly convenient. And being able to rent chairs and tables on site was fantastic. Our wedding here was every bit as beautiful as much more expensive venues, and I would recommend this place for any event where hosts are interested in doing a little diy decorating.

Jeff & Betsy weā€™re fantastic! We met with them a few months ago to book their beautiful home for our Halloween wedding & they were very accommodating. They welcomed us, our family & our fur babies for our special day, everybody had a great time! The paddle boat was a big hit with our family. Incredible wedding weekend

We got married at nearby Dennis vineyards, and this property was perfectly located only a few minutes down the road. We rented this house as a place for our wedding party to stay and for our rehearsal dinner. The house was more than we could've ever asked for. Not only was the property beautiful, but Jeff was more than accommodating. Our guests can't stop raving about how perfect the house was. The space also accommodated our large rehearsal dinner guest list perfectly. The property is private and the large parking lot was perfect to accommodate a lot of family and friends to stop by who were visiting from out of town. We were also able to get some beautiful pictures around the private lake on the property.

Beautiful house, beautiful property.

We stayed here with friends & absolutely loved it (group of 5 adults & 3 children). The outside covered porch is beautiful. Even during a heatwave, we were nice & cool in the shade, under the fans. The kids loved the basement; it was like their own little clubhouse get-away from the adults. The owners have so many games like pool, bocce, cornhole, darts... You're never bored. Ooh & the lake with the paddleboats was a huge hit with everyone! All of the appliances were clean & working well. The beds were all nicely done, and it was great having a fan in most (all?) rooms. My only complaint is the water in the downstairs bathroom sinks was very smelly, and the shower there was quite slick. If it were my home, I would have appliques on the floor for safety. But honestly, we would give this house a 9.5/10. We hope to come back again next year!!

I have really enjoyed the place, it really felt me awesome. We took the place for our wedding everyone word about place is 'Amazing' .The owner jeff was so good as a person and I hope we will book it again in future.
