Not what I expected

We were there celebrating my son and his friend’s birthday. They wanted to get in the pool so I chose this place because of the unpredictable weather they had an indoor pool. The condo was more like a 1 bedroom suite plus the adjoining room. There wasn’t a regular door to the adjoining room so it pretty much had to stay open unless you locked it. The couch was filthy, so we didn’t use it at all. The washer had sand in it and there was a lot of hair in both of the bathrooms. There was trash behind the dresser and we saw a few roaches. I reached out to the service desk about the TVs not working and it took 2 hrs to get a response. I loved the convenience of having an on-site restaurant, arcade, and store.

Would not recommend to my enemies

Cockraches! Counter tops were not cleaned! Staff just walks in without permission! Basic cooking supplies are not provided. Bedding was ripped. I very much so would like my money back but i am sure the owner would rather use it for his/ her crack habit.

Awesome stay

This was my granddaughters 16th birthday gift she loved it and we all loved it. They was a few lights that was hard to come on and the door to the one bedroom was busted at what seen like were the doorknob ones was. A major issue was near the door entrance going in the smelled of cat pissed was unbearable. But overall I would still rent from Vacasa for my next vacation at the beach.

Not for people who want to dine in

I’m not going to do major complaining because we had a blast either way. But I always want a place with a kitchenette. This time we didn’t really need it as much. But there were two spoons in the drawer and they were both serving spoons. A few coffee cups, one of which was filthy inside. A couple forks. We had a lot of questions that front desk wasn’t interested in answering because our place was privately owned. So we were kind of lost about a lot of things. We also got a $30 parking ticket because we were supposed to park in parking garage. We didn’t know and parked beside the condos. It’s 2 hour parking but there wasn’t a sign around stating that anywhere. Just a few things you might need to know. On the positive side, it was just steps to the beach, reasonably priced and the pool was well kept. Spent several hours there everyday during my stay.

Fun place but rooms feel small and dingey

This was an ok resort Everything nearby nice bar/restaurant Rooms felt small and bedrooms felt cheap and little dungeon like. Bugs had me concerned. Fridge was barely a rental quality and tge kitchen barely had cookware. Bathrooms felt cheap. It was OK since it was on beach.

The dish washer was nasty,the Upper balcony Was leaking on to ours,cable didn't work,we finally got the WiFi working,but cable so the kids couldn't watch tv,I called vrbo twice but nobody came,and the staff wouldn't help at all,they contact vrbo,just sad

This unit was roomy for the 7 of us. Liked the fact it has 2 bathrooms for that many people. Great view of the ocean from both balconies. Keyless entry a plus. We didn't have to worry about who had the key card. It could use a little updating and minor repairs, but otherwise it was good. I would stay there again. Pool a little small for that size resort, since we weren't allowed to use the water parks.

Beach trip

Great beach and location!! Condo is nice for the most part. The couch is very stained and dirty so we couldn't use it. A little paint and cleaning and you have a nice place. We still very much enjoyed our stay at the Sand Dunes. . very nice place!

Great location but

A little run down/out dated. Pull out couch is horribly uncomfortable even for a pull out couch and back of it is broken so you can’t prop it up. Towel rod is coming out of the wall in one bathroom. Remote for one of the tvs doesn’t fully work. Had to call for maintenance because one of the bedroom doors got stuck closed. Awesome location. Arcade and lazy river for kids. The condo doesn’t get access to mini golf only the actual hotel rooms. That was a bummer. But it wasn’t advertised so that’s fair still disappointing. A/C doesn’t fully cool the room. I would hate to see it in the summer. Only one of the microwaves works. I didn’t call to report all of this stuff though. As fast as they got the bedroom door fixed im sure they would’ve taken care of it but I didn’t want to spend my short vacation dealing with it. Definitely clean and if they did the repairs i would definitely stay there again. Make sure you check the lint screen in dryer before you use it. It looked as if it had never been cleaned. The cleaning crew that comes in clearly doesn’t check that. Definite fire hazard. There is no lock box for key don’t let instructions fool you like they did us. You get the code for the pin pad that opens the door. The condo is inside the sand dunes resort. Happy to report it was bug free!

The condo needs a deep cleaning from floor to ceiling.

The listing needs to be updated to let potential renters know the indoor pool and hot tub is closed due to repairs. The other indoor pools are not available for renters if this unit. The condo needs to be cleaned floor to ceiling. The coffee and end tables both had food crumbs and sticky substance when we arrived. One of the bedroom nightstands had brown stuff on the side. Yuck! A large roach looking bug was also in the bedroom.

i was super surprised at how spacious this place was! the property manager clarified everything and answered all my questions in a timely manner that worked with my schedule. the lack of oven was a bummer, but we made it work! super friendly, quiet area minutes from the hustle and bustle. i would stay here again without a doubt.!

Never Again

When we got to the rental, there was a note on the fridge that stated someone would be by daily to "REFRESH" toiletries. We ran out of toilet paper on day 2 and sent a message regarding the issue. Hours later, we were told it was up to us to replenish. I replied letting them know how dirty the place is. Sand all over the floors, big stains on shower curtain and liner (looks like red Lipstick or something of the sort), couch stained and disgusting..I could keep going. Never got a reply. Day 4 the toilet overflowed and there is no plunger. Water went everywhere and we had to use our personal beach towels to clean it up! We were told someone from maintenance would come..they did not. Horrible communication in every way and beyond dirty. Terrible experience.

Beautiful beachfront property

We had a wonderful time. The unit was just has described. We had a few minor issues but the management co. responded. We would definitely go back to this unit or maybe a larger one. We would also definitely book with a Vacasa Property again.

Great location, could use some upgrades

This property is in a great location and the pool and lazy river were a bonus! The kitchen was poorly stocked and There was no toaster or oven! The mattresses were not comfortable in one of the bedrooms but the bedding was Clean. Couch had some stains on it and the outdoor plastic chairs seen better days.

This condo is very convenient and just a quick walk to the beach. The décor could use a refresh but it was comfortable and spacious. Would stay there again.

Mother’s Day getaway

The listing on the sight is deceiving! This property needs to really be upgraded. The living room pull out sofa needs to be deep cleaned or replaced. The place need painting, paint is cracked and molded in the main bathroom. Holes in the closet walls. Didn’t leave enough tissue or towels and was cloths for the weekend. For the money spent for 2days these things can truly be remedied.
