INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

The place is a good location with beach access. The actual space has a few landlord special fixes (dark inside as several of the lights had bulbs out, hard to see in the kitchen and patches on the walls that are poorly done) that took away from the value, however overall it was a nice stay. No complaints with the beds or the view. Not the fault of the host however we had hoped to use the hot tub as this is winter time and even a heated pool is cool. It was only functional the first of our 7 days stay, and that was disappointing.

Our host was very responsive and took care of our requests very promptly. The condo is in need a few updates/repairs. The stopper in one of the sinks is missing and our dishwasher wasn't working. We were informed of this before we arrived. The queen bed frame also needs updated. Great location and amenities so worth a little more investment to keep the unit desirable.I would also suggest a printed set of instructions for how to use each of the TVs. We were able to figure it out in the family room by switching a few of the HDMI connections. Couldnt get the primary bedroom TV to work with cable.

Didnt go as planned

We arrived there at 2:30 but when in to at least get checked in the guys at the counter was nice and gave us info but we didnt have the code to the door so i messaged the owner which was told we couldn't get in room till 4 which was fine so we went and killed time and grabbed something to eat and went to get groceries got back aroind 3:45 room still wasnt touched so messaged the lady again said they have till 6 to get us in so we just sat in our vehicle until 6 still.nobody touched our room so at around 7pm i finally got in the room to find out it hasnt even been cleaned yet keep in mind we drove 14 hours to get here then finally 2 people came and started cleaning and then 2 more people came 1p minutes later to help so our room got cleaned in 20 minutes!!! Ceiling fans were filled with dust, shower head in back bedroom was wobbly and looks like it is about to fall off!!! All.in all not a good person to deal with said manager would get in contact with me to make things right the next day and never showed up

Won’t use Panhandle Getaways again

After Driving 22 hours we were told we couldn’t access room until exactly 4pm. We waited until 4 and then still couldn’t access. Plumber had to fix shower while we were there. Got a text that said he’d be there at noon. He showed up @8:45 while we were getting dressed. Honestly it’s just not worth the hassles.

Great location

Nicely decorated. Plenty of supplies to get you started- dishwasher detergent, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper. You may need to get more during ur stay. No tents or easy ups allowed on beach. You can NOT set up in front of rental chairs. This makes it hard to watch your kids in the water.

Great stay

Pros- Great property, very clean, lots of amenities right on site or close by. Pools were awesome. Right on the beach. Great view of ocean from the balcony. Would definitely stay again!! Cons- listing said slept 7, but only sleeps 6. They were awesome about getting us a blow up mattress and late check in to make up for it! Only other down fall is the chair rentals on the beach, they run 4 deep so you can’t really see the beach from your rented chair. Still an amazing property and would definitely stay again!! Totally recommend!

We had a wonderful beach vacation with the resort we loved being right on the beach with restaurants near by the beds slept great and kitchen was fully stocked we will be back next year 5 stars

Great location

The condo needed maintenance and a heavy cleaning but was a great location. The resort was good but they did not have any type of gift shop to buy small necessities and the 2 food locations closed at 4pm which meant you had to leave the property to eat or buy groceries and cook yourself, not what I want to do on vacation. Overall, we had a great time at the beach with really good access to it!

Perfect vacay!

We loved staying at this property. Checkin was seamless, as well as checkout! The tiki bar onsite is such a convenient place to grab drinks & food. All in all - would definitely book again!

Great pools!

Property is a little run down and could use some improvements but overall good, location is good, tiki bar is awesome, and pools are nice, especially the two in the shade that stay cool through the day.

We loved the condo! The location is great. The view of the ocean is wonderful. The condo was stocked well with everything we needed to cook with. The condo was very clean. We loved having 2 pools. They never felt overcrowded. We highly recommend this condo!!

Perfect spot for a get away!

The condo and resort was perfect. The condo was a 2 bedroom, 2 bath and had a perfect view of the pool, ocean and beach. I would highly recommend this resort.

only reason they didn't get 5 stars because smaller bedroom bathroom had a horrible sewer smell that was unbearable at times we brought candles to offset smell but it was really bad.

Great Labor Day vacation

My husband and I enjoyed a week with friends - this was our first trip. Great beach view, pool, tiki hut and location near restaurants. We were able to rent chairs and umbrella from the vendor who had everything set everyday at 9am sharp. The condo was very pretty and had plenty of room for 4 adults. The grocery store was close by so we were able to balance eating in versus eating out. Staff was friendly at the resort and condo was very cleaned. we would recommend this property.

Great Location on the Beach!

The pictures and the view from the balcony that was online was exactly what it looked like. Even though we were on the 5th floor the elevators are never very far from any of the condos. We had two small kids and it worked great for us. You are right across the street from Big Kahunas water park. You come down the elevator and walk out the back door and there are two pools on each side and in a few steps there is a tiki bar, which was great and there is a short walkway and you walk right onto a beautiful private beach.

Girls trip was relaxing and cozy!

Condo was wonderful! Very clean and had all that we needed for our stay. The view was fantastic! Close to shops and dining. Couldn’t have ask for a better trip!

The place was not clean

The condo overall was nice but whoever was assigned to clean that condo did not clean it at all because there was dust everywhere, sand still in the sofa, oil on the floor in the master bedroom, hair left in shower, just dirty. Then they had some maintenance that was needed such as cabinets were broken, drapers off track. Closet door off track, sink in both master bathroom and kitchen had a slow drain, it was a mess. I had to call several times before some came out to check on the property.
