This light-filled beauty provides wonderful ocean views, generous spaces for gathering with family and friends, lovely decor that's simple yet upscale, and lots of popular recreation options sure to keep the whole crew happy. You'll never want to leave this amazing home and all it has to offer.

The ground level contains a rec room with a 50' smart TV, pool table, foosball, additional TV/DVD, stereo, and a kitchenette with a full fridge, dishwasher, and microwave. It also opens to the completely fenced and gated pool and nearby hot tub. On the middle level, you will find several bedrooms and laundry options. All bedrooms have smart TVs with the exception of the DuoBunk room which has a TV/VCR combo.

The top level offers a wealth of space as you take in the panoramic views from the huge window-lined great room. Here you will find a large TV with DVD and surround sound, comfortable couches, and three dining room tables that can accommodate your whole group in one sitting. The newly renovated, well-equipped kitchen has granite counters, two dishwashers, and plenty of space for several cooks to work at the same time. Two levels of decking wrapping around the east and south sides provide even more space for relaxing with loved ones.

THINGS TO KNOW
For January and February bookings, please contact the property management company to ensure the hot tub is available.
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically.
Fireplaces are available from November 1 through April 1.
The private pool is open from May 1st through October 15th. Pool Heat is available upon request at $60 per day. You can contact guest services and add the pool heat to your reservation. Please provide at least 72 hours advance notice. Pool heat is not available in July and August.
A daily ice delivery service is available from Memorial Day until Labor Day.
This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Family Fun

While friends took their families to Disneyland, we opted to fly to the Outer Banks we made the better choice! Buhler's Day Off was fabulous. We had 5 families, with grandchildren ages 1 year to 11. The beach was so walkable close no one complained and some even ran back to the house for a snack or bathroom break. Two sand carts, chairs, sand toys and boogie boards were provided for us. No beach towels, our mistake I should have read closer. The common space is larger enough no one felt crowded and room enough for several activities to be happening at once. We did stop at Costco in Norfolk, but found the two grocery stores in Corolla reasonably priced by Utah standards. Instead of having to pay theme park admissions, we purchased kites at the local kite store. They were a hit. We also, did our own seafood boil. It was nice to have all the cooking tools we needed. We also grilled several times. On our second try. We saw the wild horses on the beach, which is a short drive from the house. The only downside was the traffic to and from Norfolk. Even though we had been warned, the traffic was a new experience for us. Our whole family has voted to do this again!

Clean and comfy

Our family loved the property. Pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable. House was amazing!! Very clean, great living space, pool table and Foosball for extra entertainment. Highly recommend and would stay here again in the future.

Bueler's Day Off

This home is in a great location with ocean views. Unfortunately, it was a bit run down & dirty. Upon arrival, the front of the house was smeared with dirt & there was a mangled window screen laying in the front yard. Not very inviting. Many of the blinds were broken and many windows did not open. There was a table on the top balcony covered in melted Citronella candles which had dripped onto the second floor balcony. The lowest level has an outdoor shower that had feces on the floor of it! There was pool furniture scattered everywhere. What a mess! The bathrooms and kitchen were fairly clean. However, this house needs a good deep cleaning. Furniture & dressers had not been cleaned & many furniture pieces had visible unknown substances on them. There was what looked like urine on the upstairs wall. It looked as if a dog had urinated on the wall. The last thing we wanted to do was call to have someone come in & clean when we just wanted to relax & enjoy our long awaited vacation. This should have been done prior to our arrival. Needless to say, we left this home cleaner than it was when we arrived. On our last day there our check out time was 10:00AM. The cleaning crew showed up at 9:00AM, parked in the driveway across the street and literally stood outside of their vehicle in the driveway staring at our house. At 9:45 they pulled into our driveway, unloaded their cleaning supplies & entered the house prior to our 10:00AM departure time.

Loved the home

Awesome home! Plenty of room for the whole extended family. Awesome pool, quick walk to beach, tons of beach chairs, toys and gear. Kitchen is great- so much natural light and the 3 tables to gather with a large group at dinner is amazing. Baby gates saved us. So many bedrooms and bathrooms was awesome!

Best house for making memories!

Buhler’s Day Off is the perfect house for your next OBX trip. As a mom of 3, I’m looking for convenience, proximity to the beach, and ways to keep the kiddos entertained. This house has it all! The remodeled kitchen is beautiful and the best stocked vacation rental I’ve ever been in. Basically any appliance you could use AND a whole drawer full of kid friendly utensils. The pool and hot tub are great, and the pool and foosball table provided lots of fun! The house is a quick 3 minute walk to the beach. I can’t recommend highly enough!

Family Vacation

Great layout for a big family. Every room had its own bathroom which was great. Great views on the balcony. Nice, easy walk to the beach. We loved the pickleball court. The house does need a lot of little updates. Lot of little things broken. Vacasa did their best to address the issues quickly. But neither of the ice makers worked. We kept having to go buy ice at the store. The hot tub was super cloudy. Sliding door of one of the bedrooms did not work. Lots of wear and tear. Needs new bedding, blinds. One of the pillows had blood on it. Would look around at other options in the future due to these issues, instead of immediately re-booking this house.

Family vacation

Well equipped and perfect location. The pool was an awesome size but only umbrella for shade was broken. Lots of nice amenities but disappointed that even tho reported by previous renters neither ice maker in refrigerator or the separate ice maker had been fixed and when reported we were told just buy ice and give us the receipts. Really?!

Super family vacation—4 generations

Great home! Very well stocked kitchen and we loved the pickle ball court on the driveway. Great dining area where 11 of us could sit for meals and many hours of fun games. The beach carts are a huge help as there is more of a walk than the pictures show. Short, very do-able walk. We will be back next year for sure. ❤️

Another Great Week in Corolla

This house is in a great location! While not oceanfront, it has amazing views and it is a quick walk to the beach. Pros: nice deck and pool furniture, comfortable beds, nice kitchen/ family room space with adequate furniture and seating, every bedroom has an en-suite bathroom ( bunk room has full bath next to it), kitchen amenities, beach/ pool toys, beach carts & chairs, updated flooring, good washer/ dryer. Cons: like all rentals in this area, some things are wearing, maintenance people responsive for some minor issues which we noted upon check-in- broken towel racks, broken bathroom cabinet, kitchen cabinet door, broken facing on stairs, broken patio door lock, bedroom slider door stuck, ice maker in need of repair, housekeeping issues- house was not cleaned until after 5, not enough towels provided for every bedroom, not thoroughly cleaned. It is somewhat frustrating dealing with Vacasa because our needs were not quickly communicated to the local rental office. When we were able to contact the Corolla Classic Vacations office in Corolla directly, they were very helpful. Overall we had a nice stay!

Beautiful house

Beautiful house perfect size for all of us. Beds were comfortable had some issues that were checked by a scarab and addressed. Except for gas grill was not issuable and someone came out and took pictures and said they will address it with maintenance management it was never fixed or replaced. We had planned on cooking on the grill every night. A couple of the drawers in the bedrooms fell out when you opened them. Would we rent again yes we would. The pool was wonderful. Views were great.

Wonderful Buhler's Day Off OH7

We loved all of the Buhler's Day Off accommodations which provided excellent facilities with lots of space and a good view of the ocean to watch the sunrise. Our children and grandchildren loved swimming in the ocean, but also loved the pool and hot tub. We would definitely love to stay here again if the opportunity presents.
