Plus, the exterior is getting a stunning makeover with brand-new siding and a durable roof that's sure to impress.

Two blocks from the beach and boardwalk in the heart of Rehoboth Beach is 55 Philadelphia Street. This well-maintained vacation rental is a spacious garage apartment with two levels, providing ample space for everyone to enjoy. Enter up the stairs to the first level, and you will find two bedrooms, one full bathroom, and the open-concept living area. Here, guests will love all the windows surrounding the living space to maximize the flow of the breeze as it blows down the street from the ocean. Up another flight of stairs, guests will enter the loft area that functions as the third bedroom. There is also an outdoor 12 X 9 bluestone patio for tenants to enjoy. Rental guests at this home can also pack light - the owner provides bikes and beach chairs for use during your stay! They can be found in the garage below this unit. Property has off-street parking for one car, and the owner also provides one on-street parking permit for use at any non-metered parking spots in Rehoboth Beach. Home is cooled with A/C Units.

A linen package can be purchased for your stay. The cost of the linen package for one week's stay is $173.25.

Booking Restrictions-
2 Night Stays - Jan. through June and Mid Aug. through Dec.

Bedding- 1 Queen, 1 Single, 2 Doubles

All VRBO reservations are a booking request only until confirmed by Property Manager. You will be required to sign a Residential Lease Agreement and make your payment within the required deadlines provided or your booking request will be cancelled. As a property manager, we welcome “Special Event” rentals. All properties are individually owned and not all properties are available for “Special Event” rentals. Credit Card payments subject to 2% fee.

We had a great stay at the house in Rehoboth. It was exactly as advertised, in a fantastic location just a couple of blocks from the beach and center of activity. Communication with the rental company was smooth and easy. Would definitely recommend.

Great stay in Rehoboth Beach

We enjoyed our stay so much. The history of the garage apartment home, the space, the games (such classics!), and just sweet warmth created such a great place for us. Being 2 blocks from the beach made back and forth easy on our hot days. It was the perfect stay, and we would love to return. Thank you!

Location of the property is excellent with short walk to the beach and boardwalk. Space is clean and very homey. Really appreciated the beach items and bikes available for use in the house. BBQ on patio was great. A few major things I missed on the site tour- the small bedroom our younger son used had no window unit and was very stuffy even with a fan (Joe kindly brought us a new one). House lights flickered on and off probably bc electric load was too much for the system with the window ac units and washing machines operating. We were concerned about circuit breaker or other electrical or issue. Bathroom sink is way too small and shelving needed in there (shower is great however). Recommend dishwasher install. Clothes drying line or rack is needed. Rugs curling and need replacement and kitchen sink sprayer didnt work. Overall we had a great week but will look for a different property next time.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a good week, place was nicely equipped. The window unit in the bedroom needed cleaning

Kitchen was filthy. Upon arrival we found that the kitchen counter had food on it. So before we could unpack the kitchen items we brought I had to clean all the counters. What a great way to start our vacation. After unpacking we discovered a dirty coffee cup with a dark visible coffee line inside it, INSIDE the kitchen cabinet. As time went on we found at least six greasy plates INSIDE the cabinets. More than half the plates and all the bowls were either chipped or cracked, many of the others were stained. Many cupboards were so full of disorganized stuff that it was an endless search looking for what we needed, there was lots of prior renter leftover stuff. The front oven grill was covered in grease. Most of the kitchen cabinet knobs and doors were greasy. The bath and bedroom doors were sticky. It was disgusting. No one goes on vacation, in part to take a break from cleaning their own kitchen, to have to clean a vacation home kitchen for which they are paying high rent. And who wants to take up the offer from the agent to send someone to clean in the middle of their vacation! With the unit full of our stuff we don't want to go to the beach and trust a complete stranger in there and we don't want to wait around for them to show up and hang around while they clean. And with all our stuff already in place, we would what, clear the kitchen so the cleaner could do what should already have been done? Disgusting. We have been ripped off.
