Wildflower Cottage Retreat is secluded on nearly 2 acres and is just minutes from Roche Harbor (community pool opened to the public, you, for a daily rate paid at pool. chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/https://www.rocheharbor.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/2024-Pool-Schedule-and-rates-1.pdf ) and Westcott Bay and only 15 minutes from Friday Harbor. The great room is very large and an open concept that include the kitchen, living room and dining room and has luxury vinyl plank flooring, vaulted ceilings, a skylight and large picture windows that let in the natural sunlight. Relax on the loveseat and sofa, read a book across from the electric fireplace for that calming ambiance or enjoy family time watching a movie on the 55" flat screen television with satellite service.

The spacious, fully equipped kitchen was recently updated with new stainless appliances and granite countertops. There is both a traditional coffee maker as well as a Keurig. The dining area has seating for 6 and there is also bar seating for 3. There is plenty of space to enjoy board games or to work on a puzzle. If you can’t unplug, the home does have wireless internet service and offers good cell phone reception for most carriers.

The cottage offers 3 bedrooms with well-appointed sleeping for 6. (7th guest is allowed at an additional fee per night. Please see the Rental Agreement and House Rules) Each bedroom has room darkening blinds. There is also a queen size air mattress available upon request, which is considered the 4th bed. It can be easily placed either in the living room or master bedroom. Linens are high quality cotton. The primary bedroom has luxury vinyl plank flooring and is furnished with a king size bed with a luxurious pillow top mattress, night stands, dresser and a desk. The ensuite has a tub shower combo, sink, toilet and is stocked with plush towels, shampoo and conditioner, and both bar and liquid soaps. The other two bedrooms are carpeted and each furnished with queen beds, dressers, night stands and high quality bedding. The guest bathroom is just across from the two bedrooms and is stocked with plush towels, shampoo and conditioner, and both bar and liquid soaps.

The partially covered deck is a great place to relax from a days' adventure, or enjoy the serenity of the surroundings which include beautiful madrone, fir, and evergreens and abundant wildlife such as deer, eagles, and fox. Play some yard games – bocce ball, croquet or badminton – on the lawn off the deck. There is also a corn hole game provided that can be played on the deck or in the yard during dryer times. The deck dining table offers seating for 6. Two Adirondack chairs are on the deck for relaxing around the propane fire pit table. There is also a stainless steel propane BBQ with a side burner.(propane provided)

Just a 5 minute drive to Roche Harbor Resort and Westcott Bay, and 15 minutes to Friday Harbor, Wildflower Cottage Retreat is conveniently located to dining, shopping, marina, public swimming pool (Roche Harbor Resort guests and available to the public (you) for a day pass (be sure to check availability as the pool is seasonal, chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/https://www.rocheharbor.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/2024-Pool-Schedule-and-rates-1.pdf) or tennis courts, and the spa located at the resort (services paid at the location), miles of hiking trails including into the resort, Mt. Young, and around British Camp National Park. The Frisbee golf course is within walking distance and Reuben Tarte Park where many launch kayaks as well as shore fishing are close by. The area offers great bike riding and the quiet location is perfect for those morning and evening walks.

While traveling it is often difficult to anticipate what the accommodations will consist of when you arrive. At “Wildflower Cottage Retreat”, every effort has been made to provide an inviting “home away from home”. I have not skimped during the process of supplying the home with sundries, kitchen/ household items, appliances, and cookware. The home is meticulously cleaned between bookings. You can feel confident that every effort will be made to make sure your stay is a good and safe experience! **No smoking allowed on the premises, inside or out.**

***A Ring security camera covering the driveway and parking area is provided. No other cameras are located inside or outside the premises.

Internet Speed Test shows 60.7 Mbps download, 6.09 Mbps upload, Latency of 33 ms. Per speed test: "Your internet connection is very fast and should be able to handle multiple devices streaming HD videos, video conferencing, and gaming at the same time." Speeds may very depending on use in the area and connection.
