Enjoy the view of Strait of Juan De Fuca in this southern facing home near American Camp National Park and South Beach.
This is the perfect spot for a few friends or family to gather and relax in this nice and quiet neighborhood.

This newly remodeled and freshly furnished, two-story home boasts a large gourmet kitchen. It provides all the amenities necessary to prepare delicious meals, or to gather on the deck and enjoy a meal cooked over the gas BBQ.

The living space, primary bedroom, kitchen and dining area are all on the top floor with great views of the water.
The open primary bedroom has a comfy new King bed, Futon couch, private deck, spacious closet and an en-suite bathroom which is prefect for two.
The downstairs opens up to the Media room where you'll find a large sectional couch, a leather sofa-bed, and the flat-screen TV. Off the media room you will find two bedrooms: one is equipped with a set of Bunk Beds (an extra is mattress is provided as well), and the other has a Full sized bed. At the end of the hall is the 3/4 bathroom.

Walk to local beaches or American Camp National Park from this perfectly located island home. A 5-minute drive from this property will take you to a local favorite spot, South Beach, where you will find County approved fire -pits for summer s'mores and barbequing.
-This home does not have Air Conditioning. The breeze off the nearby ocean is more than adequate to cool the home on a warm day. This house has electric heat.
-Not suitable to loud gatherings as this is a quiet neighborhood.
-This house requires use of stairs to get to the main living area.
-Cell Service is spotty at this property, however, the Wi-Fi provided is strong enough to make calls on your personal cell.

The internet/ Wi-fi at this house should be sufficient for streaming video, phone calls, remote work and video conferencing.

The house is in a great location. Lots of hiking trails and close to the beach. We would stay there again.

Wonderful Stay!

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at this house. It was well-appointed and the location was perfect. One thing to note is there are no blinds in the primary bedroom, so when the sun comes up (at 5:30am during the summer) it is bright in there!

Lovely stay on San Juan Island

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I absolutely adored our time on this property during our trip to SJI. The house was beautiful and all amenities were top tier. The beds were very comfortable, even the futons. The back deck is good for sunsets. We were not bothered at all by the lack of AC. Walkable access to the beach cove was a huge plus. We were very sad to close the door behind us when we left for our return ferry.

Great stay

We didn’t spend too much time in the house, due to all the activities we did. But the house was great, clean, very welcoming. Easily a house I would love to own one day. Great walk to the water.

Great family getaway for the holidays!

Spent the 4th of July long weekend/week at this beautiful property. Check-in was easy. Very clean home with well-stocked, huge kitchen. Comfortable beds and futons for our large family. We enjoyed the puzzles, ping-pong table and large yard with a view of the Juan de Fuca strait and Olympic range. Short drive (longer walk if taking children) to Eagle Cove beach. Close to historical sites. The grill was well maintained. Wifi can be spotty for streaming depending on where you are in the house but this seems to be common on San Juan island. Would stay here again anytime.

Reviewer Comments: Our group of 4 had a blast. The home was located v. close to Friday Harbor, easy walking distance to the beach and great hiking trails along the beach. Kitchen was amazing and extra supplies of TP, paper towels, soaps, etc. were appreciated. Highly recommend. My only suggestions would be a second TV for upstairs and maybe a larger bed for the master. Everything was superb and comfortable. We'd not hesitate to stay again. Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful home.

What a wonderful experience on San Juan Island!! The property was immaculate and smelled clean when you opened the front door! The communication with our host was prompt and friendly from beginning to end. Entry code, address, and directions were shared before we got on the ferry and were perfectly accurate and easy to follow. We also received a discount for whale watching and kayaking that we put to good use! The kitchen was enormous and perfectly stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable and there were additional blankets for cozying up on the couch. The bathrooms are all stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and bar soaps that all smell great. The neighborhood is quiet and so close to Eagle Cove Beach. Overall, this was a wonderful and peaceful stay! We couldn’t ask for more!

Great location, but the finishing touches were missing

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came to the island for my niece’s wedding and chose this house because it is so close to the hub of the wedding festivities. And that aspect worked out well. The house was clean, light-filled and spacious. All good so far. Now for the not-so-good details: I slept in the downstairs bedroom with a double bed. I woke up every morning drenched in sweat despite the window open to the cool sea breezes. The problem was the cheap Amazon Basics 100% polyester sateen sheets and the waterproof mattress pad and pillow protectors. I felt like I was sleeping an a Saran Wrap sleeping bag - yuck. Also, this bedroom had no shelves, hooks or drawers, so there was no place to unpack and put away my things for easy access. I had to leave my suitcase on the floor of the closet and dig though to find things. This would be easy to remedy - put a chest of drawers in the huge closet, install some hooks.....Finally, sound really travels in this house with the open stairway, so if you have kids sleeping downstairs you must be very quiet upstairs after they have gone to bed.

Saw deer and fox in the back yard. Would diffidently stay again.

Open, bright and airy home

Home Just as pictured. Easy check in. Both walking distance Eagle cove and short drive July 4th beach have great views of surrounding areas and easily accessed.

Somewhat Disappointed

Very roomy home and for the most part nicely remodeled. The water view was very filtered. For as large as a home this is there is only one TV which would be alright but it is downstairs. Also the master bathroom is very nice but water for the shower was warm but not hot and didn't drain well.

This is a great family vacation home located in one of the most beautiful areas of San Juan Island. We’re sorry you were not pleased with the location of the TV. The upstairs of the home focuses on the view and family-gathering space. In regards to the water temperature and drain, these have both been addressed, in the future please let us know during your stay if you have any issues, needs or questions.
