Nestled within the premier Hatteras Colony oceanside neighborhood with the beach just a short walk away, SALVO STARRY NIGHTS is an exceptional beach cottage filled with thoughtful touches and amenities to help you and your family relax and make memories! Unlike most area properties, linens are included at no extra charge and all beds are made in advance of your arrival so you can spend more time relaxing and less time doing chores.

When you step inside Salvo Starry Nights, you will discover a spacious and immaculate room with vibrant coastal colors and local art, vaulted ceiling, updated chef's kitchen with stainless steel appliances, comfortable furnishings, and 43" LCD internet television. The master suite features a memory foam King bed and en suite bathroom. In the second bedroom, you will find a Queen bed. The third bedroom has twin bunk beds. A large updated shower-over-tub bathroom is located in the hall, near a convenient laundry station with new washing machine and dryer. This well-appointed, meticulously maintained home has all of the ingredients for your perfect beach experience.

For your outdoor living enjoyment, Salvo Starry Nights features three large decks with sweeping views and a lush ground level with wooden patio, grill, secure gear storage, and large outdoor shower. A cargo lift with 1000 lb capacity moves your luggage and provisions up to the main level with effortless ease. Our rocking chairs make it easy to relax and enjoy! We also include an ample assortment of beach chairs at no extra charge for your convenience.

Our WiFi is upgraded to achieve the maximum possible speeds here on Hatteras Island of up to 500mbs. Our SmartTV now has loads more cable channels! We also added lots more kitchenware along with a robust spice rack to make your vacation cooking easier!

There isn’t a beach view from the house but the ocean sounds are amazing! The walk to the ocean isn’t far & the views there are breathtaking. You’re only about a ten minute drive to the Sound side which is a whole different experience.

We really enjoyed our stay! We were very pleased that the house was clean. Hosts had good communication and check in and check out instructions were simple. Was a good location for us to have access to all the southern outer banks and Ocracoke island. We even made a day trip up to kitty hawk!There is a food lion only about 20 minutes away in Avon which made grocery runs no trouble at all. The elevator lift was really a game changer! Made loading and unloading pain free!The only thing more I would have wanted it to be ocean front, but the walk to the beach wasn’t too bars

We had a great time. This location was perfect. Close to the beach, away from the commercialization up north but not too far away if you wanted to explore. Screened in porch was great. We used it every night. Can’t say enough about how clean this place was. We have stayed in other places & the cleanliness does not compare. Very well maintained. Great 1st trip to the Outer Banks.

Clean, comfortable and thoughtful touches! Loved the beach chairs and our daughter forgot her toothbrush and the host had extras. Close to the beach. Great views of stars too. One of the nicest places we’ve ever rented. Thank you!

Fun family beach weekend!

My husband, kids, and me stayed here over Labor Day weekend. Kids are 8, 6, and 2. The property was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen had the basics we needed to cook. Loved the screened in porch - enabled my husband, who is highly sought after by mosquitos, to sit outside with me after the kids were in bed. The beach here is beautiful and walkable from the house, though my kids are probably a little more tolerant to walks than some. It’s a walk down the long driveway, around a curve in the street, and up the road; then you go through some trees between houses, and come out before the dunes. You wind your way through the dunes and then you’re there! It’s a wide beach, and there were definitely people there but it wasn’t overly crowded by any means. The waves were big and the undertoe was strong - we didn’t let any of the kids go beyond their knees in the water without an adult. But we all had a great time at the beach with no issues or real safety concerns beyond the precautions mentioned. We’d definitely stay here again. Price was right, the house was great, and the beach was nice. Thanks for letting us enjoy your cottage!

Wonderful family getaway

We had the best long weekend mini family getaway! We loved the quick walk to the secluded beach. The hosts were wonderful and the house was lovely. Highly recommend!

Last minute getaway

We stayed the week after hurricane Debby passed by. There was some standing water however, the owners were ready for it and had walkways set up. The water was gone within a few days. The house was very well cared for and in a great tucked away location. The communication with the owners was excellent and we look forward to staying again in the future.

Summer vacation

This was our second stay at this cottage. We enjoyed the cottage and everything was just as we remembered it except the bottom car park area. It had rained a lot prior to us coming, so the area had flooded underneath which made it difficult to unload and get in and out of the cottage easily. Especially because we had two small children. The area also gets slippery, my husband and I nearly slipped and fell a couple of times. The owner did place two raised wooden slats to help with getting around, but unfortunately this is not enough. The area did dry up, especially the concrete portion, if there was no significant rain for 12 hrs, but we unfortunately had heavy rainfall daily for 1-2 hrs so the area would accumulate again. Of course the rain is not something that can be helped but other properties in the area did not have this flooding either due to location or slanting of the driveway. I would be hesitant to book again because of this issue. Other than this, the property is clean and a quick walk to the beach. We loved the three different decks to hang out in, especially the enclosed one.

Another great stay!

This was my family’s 3rd time to stay in this home. It’s clean and comfortable. The location is great. It’s a short walk to the beach. The beach is not crowded at all. We love how calm and quiet the area is!

Wonderful Beach Vacation

Starry Nights in Salvo was perfect for our stay in Outer Banks. The house was exactly as described. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was awesome. It was close enough to attractions but was quiet and peaceful. Thank you for everything!

Amazing property!

The house was beautiful, clean, and full of amenities that made our stay very comfortable. The throw blankets in the closet really won my girlfriend over when she was ready to relax in the living room. The outdoor shower was so convenient after a day at the beach. The cargo lift was so helpful at arrival and departure. It is clear how much the owners care for their property, and we would absolutely recommend this house!

Great stay at Salvo starry nights

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described and the cargo lift was a great help. As we are in our 70’s it is a bit of a walk to the beach but using the alternate beach access with the wooden boardwalk across the dunes helped. Thank you, George H
