Welcome to our elegant mountain house located in the charming ski resort of Beech Mountain in the heart the beautiful High Country, North Carolina. As Eastern America’s highest town Beech Mountain offers abundant charm, hospitality and mile high tranquility. beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. The house is located on Beech Mountain, the home of Ski Beech, and the highest elevation town east of the Mississippi. Our lofty elevation affords both a wonderful ski season, and summer temperatures rarely exceeding 78 degree's.

Short and scenic drives will take you to many of the High Country's main attractions - Grandfather Mountain, The Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone, Blowing Rock, Mast General Store, Linville Falls...

The house has easy access as we are located directly off mountain parkway, (Highway 184). The drive includes two level parking areas. There are separate outdoor entrances elegant stone staircase at front and easy access at rear. Our house is newly built and has new furniture and appliances. Walk in the door and notice kitchen is fully appointed with new stainless appliances. There are new counter-top appliances, dishware & flatware, glassware.. The home features a large back deck seating for dining. We offer all the modern creature comforts including two plasma screen TV's, free long distance calls within the United States and RoadRunner broadband/high speed internet.

The house is conveniently located in the centre of the Beech Mountain community and only a 200 yard walk to the ski lifts or a short drive (less than one mile) to the ski school and village.

The house is new construction and comprises three bedrooms, All fine Linens and Towel's provided, two full baths and will sleep up to six people in comfort and style.



In the spring, summer and fall, enjoy over 10 hiking trails on the mountain, area waterfalls, and trout fishing in many lakes and streams around. Several of the High Country's best golf courses are just minutes away. Many folks also enjoy white water rafting and kayaking as well as the new Zip-line adventures. Local attractions include Tweetsie Railroad theme park, Grandfather Mountain, downtown Boone & Blowing Rock, Linville Falls & Caverns, Mast General Store, Banner Elk Winery, etc.

In the ski season, you can walk 200 yards to the Ski Beech slopes (Lower Shawneehaw run) or drive half a mile to the entrance of the resort.

Great location, nice house and host

This was a perfect location while we visited Beech Mountain ski resort. House was clean, comfortable, and loved having the outside deck. Highly recommend!

Can’t beat the location!

The house was clean and well maintained, the location to the resort was awesome! Was able to ride our bikes right to the resort instead of having to load up and drive. Overall this was a great stay!

Three couple weekend for Sunmer concert series. House was convenient to resort and had plenty of space for the six of us.

The location of this cabin is excellent and very close to Beech Mountain Resort, which was a big plus. Unfortunately, we had several issues during our stay.I specifically chose this cabin because the listing stated that no pets are allowed. My children have pet allergies, and they had significant allergic reactions, especially in the living room. I had to give them allergy medication, and they were clearly uncomfortable whenever we were inside the cabin. It was evident that pets had previously been in the home. Because of how miserable my kids were, we ended up leaving a day early.We also had problems with the heating. When we arrived around 5:00 PM, the temperature inside the cabin was in the low 40s. We turned on the heat, but it would not warm past 60 degrees. We contacted the owner, followed their suggested steps multiple times that evening, but the temperature still wouldn’t rise past 62-63 degrees. The next morning we tried again, and while it eventually worked, it took until early afternoon for the cabin to reach a comfortable temperature.

Great location! Roomy home

Stayed at this location as it's a very short walk to the Beech Mountain Ski area (we went to a concert over the summer). House has everything you need, plus we had a deer friend pop by every breakfast to say hi as we ate on the large back porch. Would for sure rent again!

Fun on the Slopes

Great location at a great price! Short walk to the slopes and quick drive to the General store. This is our second time staying here and will be back.

Great location to the slopes

Great location to the slopes walk down the street and straight onto the slopes. The home was very clean and really felt at home. The visits from the deers every morning and evening was a plus. Would recommend this home

Ski weekend

We had a great time. The house was perfect for my family. Close to the ski slopes and restaurants. Enjoyed having a fire after a long day on the slopes.

Property had everything we needed.

Was a really great place to stay! Very nice to be able to just walk to the lyft and had a rental place super close too. The deer were nice to wake up to every day! We had all the kitchen supplies we needed, home was clean and warm and everything worked as expected!

All one level easy access for elderly in-laws. We all enjoyed the house, owner communicated very well and kept us up to date on a minor issue. Will stay again.

We stayed at Teri's house for 2 nights in February. Not long enough! House was very nice and clean. Great location to all the resorts. Snow was bueatiful. We enjoyed our stay and will be back soon!

Weekend stay at Beech Mountain

This property was great! The house was really nice, the only problem we had was cat hair. I guess somebody must have stayed before us with a cat, because there was cat hair everywhere. Other than that it was a wonderful getaway. We would definitely stay again.

Close to slopes

Great check in. Easy to find. Slopes are at the end of the road. We had a great time. Enjoyed fireplace and saw lots of deer. No bears though the kids wanted to see them. Would definitely stay again.

Great Cabin close to ski lift

Very nice cabin with modern look and upgrades. Great location next to Beech Mountain skiing. I give this cabin 5 stars but I would work on getting better cleaning services. There was underwear under the couch and what looked like coffee grounds spilled behind the couch on the window sill.

Family sized property close to slopes

We enjoyed our stay at beech mountain in this house. the house was clean and had all what we needed. good selection of dishware and silverware. washer and dryer worked well. we enjoyed the real wood fireplace. the master bedroom is quite spacious. We did not need one, but there is no pull out sofabed. The walk to the slopes was easy and brings you right to the lifts. the lock boxes with the keys are a bit cumbersome, this would be my one recommendation for improvement.

October trip

Location was great, however i was unaware it was directly next to the main road so it was often very loud. The property wasnt as clean as i would have imagined. We found food all over the rug and under the living room table, there was dirty socks under one of the beds and popcorn and puzzle pieces scattered about. The floor appeared to be unwashed. There was no smoke detector in the main bedroom and many of the blinds didnt work as well as many light bulbs being out. I tried a few times to get a hold of the property manager but rarely got a response so i gave up. If it was cleaner and fixed up a bit i would give this 5 stars regardless of the loud traffic. We enjoyed seeing the deer outside every morning and it was a great location.

Being generous

The location of this property was the only highlight. It is conveniently close to everything in town. We did communicate all this to the property manager. Pictures were also sent of our complaints. One thing is that I had to communicate with the cable company for 45-50 minutes to realize that the incorrect cable box was hooked and not powered up correctly for anyone to use. Blinds were not functional. The home cleanliness was very poor. Spider webs in the house. I had to clean the shower heads from black mildew. That's only one example. Definitely need a thorough cleaning of the property.

In need of some TLC

This property is in a great location with easy walk to slopes. The home was built with every detail in mind. Unfortunately the home needs a little TLC.The couch pictured on the listing is not the couch in the home. The original couch when the home was newly built is pictured. The one there now is something that belongs in an office lobby. Straight back, high couch. You absolutely will not have a relaxing time in the evening after a day on the slopes as the couch is not made to be comfortable or relaxing! The home is in need of a deep clean. Cob webs on the walls, furniture and baseboards caped in dirt and dust. The mattress in the primary bedroom is like sleeping in a crater and needs to be replaced. Kitchen faucet handle falling off. Notified the owner of the dog poop my daughter stepped in upon arriving and the faucet handle with sadly no reply. Won’t be rebooking our annual trip for 2025.
