Overall, we had a great time at the property. Only suggestions I would make would be to add another t v wait. Let me see what and change the mattress. On the master bedroom, it was too soft.

If you are looking for a clean house, this is not for you! We were throughly disappointed and disgusted with this property! I could go on about the issues of rips and stains in the couch, rug was just gross, bathroom fan had scum build up, walls were awful, ceiling had dry wall boards just screwed into it to cover up something, No dishwasher so you are hoping the people before you cleaned well before putting them back! A few good points, location was great. Kitchen was clean but old. The host of the house was nice. They tell you the owners are making upgrades but that didn’t happen !!!

Wonderful stay

Beach access right across the street- perfect for for me and my 4 kids- cute cottage- loved the swings downstairs- close to everything- perfect 4 day getaway-

Location is the key for this property. You can walk from the front of the house to the public beach access and have your toes in the sand in less than two minutes.The Folly Beach area has a lot to offer for activities and restaurants. It really is a wonderful location. Beds and sitting areas are comfortable. The kids enjoyed the swings under the house. Be sure to bring your own consumable kitchen supplies (I.e. aluminum foil, cooking oils, spices/seasonings, etc.) as the only thing supplied was salt & pepper. Otherwise the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, and dishes. Contact the host early and often with any issues. Response time was not the most efficient. But once contact was made, issues were resolved professionally. Overall it was a nice getaway and I would consider staying here again.

Family Beach Vacation

Great location, close to beach access in a less crowded area of the island. Great for a laid back, low key beach vacation for this family of three. Just what we wanted.

Great location! Beautiful house!

This property was perfect for my family to get away to the beach! The two bedrooms worked perfectly for our family of four (two adults plus two children). The convenience of the outdoor shower and laundry room were a big perk!

Great Locatiion

Great house for a couple or small family! House is across the street from the beach with beach access just steps away. Nice and quiet and a nice bike ride or walk to town. Would stay again.

Folly Beach

We enjoyed a few days here at Folly beach. The house is a typical, relaxed beach house 1 minute walk from lovely Folly Beach. It was a 15-20 minute walk to the area with shops and restaurants. Great for a small group stay.

Great Location and Cute Beach House

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute beach house located directly across from the beach in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again. The only issue was there weren’t enough beach chairs and no beach towels.

Great location!

Great location and a cute little house. There was no gas grill as stated, and we had to clean, sweep and wipe down the house before we were comfortable bringing our things in. It is tough to keep a beach house clean, so that is understandable.

This is such a cute , clean cottage . The location is perfect for beach access . and close enough to town . My husband and I would live in this home if we could . Love Folly Beach !! Always a great experience

Foley beach

The location was great and the property itself was good but it clearly was run down and needed some cleaning up. It was perfect for my family of five and had a great spot for easy access to the beach. The property management was very nice and super responsive!

Lovely week at Folly

It’s a quaint beach cottage with lovely decor and excellent location , making it a great value for the price. Very easy beach access in a quiet part of the island. Comfortable master bed/mattress. Good seating for the size. Nice outdoor space. We would have appreciated beach gear, such as chairs, but the property manager does provide rental information. We would absolutely stay here again.

Disappointed

My biggest disappointment was the listing didn’t mentioned that the half bath was not part of the living quarters. The half bath is underneath the home. Also, it was a challenge to get the temperature comfortable.

Great Little Getaway

The location of this property was perfect for accessing the beach and provided ample parking. Having a hose and outdoor shower area was great. I would recommend having a rubber mat (with holes) in the outdoor shower area instead of standing on the wooden deck boards. The kitchen area was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The bathroom was fine and ample bath towels were provided. The washer/dryer and second bathroom are easily accessed on the lower level outside of the home. The television could be updated to a larger size and the two chairs in the living were not very comfortable. The outdoor gas grill was a little dated but worked fine. The lower swinging chairs, underneath the deck, were great for relaxing and the outer upstairs deck was great for sitting and listening to the ocean waves while enjoying an evening beverage. All in all it was a good beach house, located just far enough outside of the main strip, to provide a nice and enjoyable stay at a decent cost. Great little getaway.
