The Space:

SunDestin Beach Resort lies right in the heart of Destin, FL and offers a plethora of amenities. Some of these include an outdoor and indoor pool (heated seasonally), where you can take a break from the sand, a fitness center, sauna, and more! Additional seasonal amenities include a tiki bar, and beach chair and umbrella rentals (fee). Plus, the Scenic Stays team is alway available at the 24 hour front desk.



SunDestin 1504 is a vibrant and spacious three-bedroom condo with sleeping for up to ten guests. Upon entering, you’ll see the first bedroom with a queen bed and one and a half bathrooms. At the end of the entry hall is the fully equipped, updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counters. A high top bar sits three, and the large dining area sits six. The living area brings even more color to this bright space. There’s a queen-sized sleeper sofa and a large TV and DVD player so you can take advantage of the complimentary rentals that come with your stay. Step onto the balcony to find plenty of seating to sip your morning coffee and breathe in the fresh gulf air. A sliding door opens into the master bedroom with a private bathroom. Pass the in-unit washer and dryer before you get to the third bedroom with two double beds and a private, full bathroom. You’re sure to have plenty of room for everyone in this three-bedroom vacation rental.



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.



Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.



SunDestin Beach Resort is only minutes from many of Destin’s popular attractions, including Harborwalk Village, just four miles west, and Destin Commons, four miles east. At Harborwalk, you’ll find an array of watersports, such as waverunners, parasailing, and snorkeling, plus plenty of shopping and dining. Please note: As part of an exciting resort enhancement project, some amenities at SunDestin Beach Resort are currently under construction, including the restaurant, indoor and outdoor pools, and the splash pad.



During this time, guests may continue to enjoy beach access via the ADA-accessible pathway located around the side of the building. We are thoughtfully welcoming reservations now and throughout the spring while setting clear expectations in advance to ensure a comfortable, positive stay during this improvement phase.



These enhancements are designed to elevate the guest experience for years to come, and we look forward to welcoming guests in Summer 2026 to a beautifully refreshed SunDestin Beach Resort—one that reflects the level of care, comfort, and coastal hospitality our owners and guests expect.

My Family & I were in Destin celebrating my husband’s 50th Birthday. This was our third stay at SunDestin, but the first time with our kids. The condo was perfect as far as accommodations of space, cleanliness, and oh the best party the amazing ocean views, and balcony. Only two issues that can be resolved…one was the washer it was out of order. I took concerns to the front desk at the resort they offered us compensation for washing loads at the community wash room on our floor. Really wished we had a working washer in the condo for convenience. Also the master bedroom toilet chain needs adjusting for proper flushing. Other than that it would have easily been 5 Stars instead of 4!!!

Disappointing Stay – Not as Advertised

I’ve been vacationing in Destin multiple times a year for over 20 years, and unfortunately, this was by far the most disappointing experience I’ve had. The condo we booked was not as described. The listing stated there was a sofa bed in the master suite, which was a key factor in our sleeping arrangements. However, the sofa bed was actually in the living room, completely throwing off our plans. Another major issue was the washer and dryer. The listing clearly stated the unit included an in-condo washer and dryer, which was non-negotiable for us when booking. When the washer didn’t work, we contacted maintenance and were told it had been out of service for over a month—with no signage or prior notice. When I asked how we could get clean towels, I was told we’d need to pay for more. We then attempted to use the coin-operated washers on-site and dry the towels in the unit, only to find out the dryer was also not working—our laundry never dried. Even more frustrating, the listing still shows the washer and dryer as available amenities, even after we reported the issue. We would not have booked this or any other unit without a functioning in-condo washer and dryer. Parking was also a mess. The drive designated for arrivals and departures was often blocked by parked cars in both directions, making it difficult to get in or out of the property at times. The beach rules were excessive and poorly communicated. Personal umbrellas were not allowed anywhere on the property, not even behind the paid beach chair rentals. We had to rent chairs daily just to sit on the beach—something we hadn’t budgeted for. On the third day, I was told I couldn’t even sit in the water in my low beach chair unless I had rented a front-row beach chair. I had been sitting in the exact same spot the previous two days—well in front of the paid rows and not blocking anyone’s view. Front-row rentals were sold out, and I was told I’d have to move. I’ve done my research on public beach access and was under the impression that the wet sand and water are public, but the beach attendant insisted otherwise. This stay was a huge letdown from start to finish. Between the misleading listing, broken appliances, unreasonable beach rules, and poor management response, I will not be returning to this property—and I highly recommend future guests confirm amenities before booking, especially if washer/dryer access is important to you.

Nice Condo.

Check in, communication and condo itself was nice, but the washing machine was broken and there was zero water pressure. No one mentioned the washing machine was broken and we were counting on that. A/C did not cool all the rooms well. Master bedroom was hot at night. Was supposed to be a non smoking facility and all we smelt was cigarettes or THC. No one was monitoring that. Amenities were ok. We will not be returning .

Family Vacation Spot

This condominium was on point, recently remodeled. SunDestin Beach Resort needs to have more activities in the afternoons for families and/or adults like karaoke and games. Been staying here for years, less and less activities. The only reason I still stay here is because their the only resort that last tents on the beach.

Spacious and clean

The 3 bedroom 3& 1/2 bath condo was very spacious and clean. It fit 10 adults very comfortably. We missed the kitchen table but there was plenty of seating around the island. I would definitely rent this unit again.

Great Mother's Day Getaway

The condo was very clean and spacious for our family. The view was amazing. There are a few issues that needs to be addressed. The washer is very unbalanced and even the smallest load knocks causing it to not spin out. The towel bat in the master bath needs to be fixed to the wall and beds are extremely squeaky. There is a bad leak under the bedroom sink and everything was soaked and unusable. The experience would have been better is I felt safe for my children to use the indoor pool, but due to groups of adults being very friendly with their surroundings while playing loud music and drinking large glass bottles of liquor while swimming.. I had pulled glass pieces out of the pool and that was the final straw for me. Overall, the stay was nice, but if it was more family friendly it would have been better.

Good Vacation

When we arrived, front desk told us we didn’t have a room, but then they found it and got us inside. We knew about construction throughout the property, but the condo itself was clean and well setup. Cable TV didn’t work, but staff responded. We would recommend and return again.

Despite Construction, Great Place!

The layout of this unit was perfect for our family! The construction and pool closure was not ideal, but the gorgeous beach, water and views more than made up for the minor inconvenience. The unit was beautifully updated and the building was in a great location. It was perfect for our family.

Beautiful Location

We absolutely loved the condo! Plenty of space, right on the beach, 2 pools. My only criticism is the dishwasher did not work, no hot water in the kitchen sink, and SunDestin needs to invest in guest luggage carts. There were only a few & guests were begging for them from each other. We will be back though! Thanks

Great time!

Our family had a great time. Great condo. We love the food available downstairs & the gift shop. Also, a big thanks to Michael Ward for helping with updating our condo unit since the original unit booked wasn’t available yet because of construction.

1. The Master Bedroom side of the Condo and the Bedroom with 2 full beds kept getting hot during the night. Even though we put the A/C down to 67. 2. More Kitchen towels are needed, 2 doesn't work. Other than that, everything else was excellent!

Beautiful spacious updates condo

Very nice, updated condo. The balcony was perfect and the rooms were amazing. The whole condo was very spacious. We will definitely book again. The only thing I didn’t find that I needed was a mixing bowl. Of course we made do and that was a very minor detail. Everything else was perfect!

There was already sand in the condo when we arrived however I’m sure it’s hard to clean the sand as we vacuumed and swept everyday. The remote to tv in living room was kinda messed up but we loved our stay.

Beautiful Ocean view Condo!!!

This room was our favorite room thus far! It was very clean and updated and spacious! the view from the 15th floor was amazing. highly recommend. the one thing i can say was the beds in the double bed room were a little unstable. there was no support underneath the mattress which caused u to sink or slide off the mattress. my younger son managed sleeping on it but if it was a heavier adult it may have been hard on your back or to get off it. maybe they can find a better solution for those beds and easy fix. I would deffinately stay there agian with this improvement. We love staying at this resort and will be back soon!

Awesome Daetin condo

This property was IMMACULATE. Very clean and updated. We thoroughly enjoyed the on-site amenities. Bar and restaurant were very good. Management on-site was very friendly and helpful. Even got an early check-in. 5 stars across the board!
