The Cozy Blue is a newly renovated 784 square foot cottage built in 1985.
This space is ideal for small families or groups of friends. We hope you will feel comfortable in this fresh, clean space!
This spot is perfect for a couples or a family retreat. We think you will find the open living area perfect for comfortable night of gathering after spending the day exploring. You’re at the beach, so enjoy the outdoors and BBQ your meals and relax in the adirondack chairs on the lower deck. We request that you book with us with no intention of using our home as a party house.
You will be a:
• 15 min walk to the beach.
• If you prefer to load up the car and drive, you’ll be at 3rd Street beach access in just a few minutes.
• The neighborhood is located behind Food Lion and Publix.
• Head West from the cottage and you will find Bay Drive. Enjoy a morning or sunset walk on the convenient paved path.
We love to walk and bike this area but also have small children and find a car ride to be convenient most times. Whatever your comfort level is!

When locking up you will enter the 4-digit code, wait for the emblem on the panel to flash green, and turn the knob counterclockwise to lock up. PULL DOOR TIGHTLY TOWARDS YOU WHILE LOCKING UP! Check to make sure the door is secured and remember to push the storm door until you hear it click and is secured as well.
The laundry room will be available to guests that have a reservation of 5 days or longer. The detergent will not be provided. Anything heavily soiled with sand etc. please hose off before using the washer. The hose is located on the left side of the laundry room door. Remember to empty out dryer lint after use. The key for the laundry room will be located in a lockbox on the door with a code to be provided just before check-in.
Rinse off sandy feet using the hose or shower before entering indoors.
Conserve electricity! Turn off all lights and ceiling fans when leaving the house for an extended period of time. Be mindful of the thermostat and keep windows and doors shut if running the AC. 72 is a good starting point! Do not lower AC temp below 62, this will freeze the unit.

Absolutely no partying! If you leave the property in in a trashed state, I will add $500 Extra Cleaning Fee penalty.

Walking/biking to the beach:
Walking takes about 15 mins- if you’re carrying multiple items, I would suggest the 2 minute car ride. Leaving the house, take a right and head to the end of Wyandotte Street. There you’ll make a right onto Third Street and go to the end of the street where there is a light and a cross walk. Here you can cross and follow the road down to 3rd Street beach access. There is a vacant K-mart on the corner of 5th Street where parking is always available! This is a favorite spot to park as it is also super close distance to the beach and a quick drive from the house.
Gas grill:
I will try to always provide a long lighter for guests, located in the utensil drawer in the kitchen. If you plan on utilizing the grill pack one just in case! Access to the gas in order to ignite the flame, go through the grates on the top. Let me know if you have any questions.
String lights:
Turn the string lights on the deck by simply plugging the extension cord into the wall on the right side of the sliding glass door; just behind the chair.
