Nestled in the hills of Ellicottville, NY, this stunning A-Frame is conveniently located just outside of downtown Ellicottville, a picturesque town with vibrant small businesses, restaurants and bars as well as home to two ski resorts and some of the best outdoor recreation in the area including biking, hiking, fishing and kayaking. This beautiful home offers 3 bedrooms plus a loft and two full bathrooms as well as a wraparound deck that overlooks the wooded property, and boasts an outdoor fire pit, wood burning stove and a charm galore!

Great stay at a nice property just outside of Ellicottville, plenty of space for two families (4 adults, 3 kids). Pretty nicely updated, hot tub worked great. Some issues with plowing when we arrived (lots of snow left on the driveway) but that was taken care of by the second day. Highly recommend.

Great location!

The property was just a short drive from downtown but was far enough away for privacy. Easy access to the house, plenty of space for the seven of us.

Cozy cabin

A lovely cozy cabin tucked away in the woods enough to feel very private, but close enough to Ellicottville to quickly and easily access everything there is to offer (about a 9 minute drive). Cabin is well appointed for everything you'll need for your stay

Secluded

Great place the is off the beaten trail. Lovely view during the Fall. Felt like you were sleeping in the forest with the tall and large windows surrounding the bed. Would definitely stay here again.

Skiing Vacation

We loved our stay at Irish Hill—it was tucked back into the woods and snow but we were easily able to get in and out with it being plowed often! It was a 15 min drive to Holiday Valley and then an evening in the hot tub and dinner. It was well equipped and plenty of room for the 8 of us, My family wants to make it a yearly trip!! Thank you for sharing your home with us

Great experience, perfect winter getaway

Just as described and enough space for us to hang out and have a relaxing and fun weekend getaway. Not too far from the slopes. Private area. Fully stocked with basic needs and great experience communicating with the owner. I’d recommend this property and likely rent again!

We had a very nice time at Irish Hill. The property was well maintained and comfortable. We did have some challenges checking in due to an unforseen emergency with the cleaning crew, but the Property Manager, Julia, was very helpful and communicative in the process.

Beautiful cabin, very well supplied.

Beautiful, private property. One of the first places we've stayed that had plenty of paper goods, soap, kitchen utensils, etc. The bathrooms were small but clean. The area rugs had not been vacuumed before we arrived, however, and there was a lot of dog hair. Everything worked well except the clothes washer, which took several hours to fill with cold water. Overall, a very comfortable stay for our family of 5.

Decent Location

This is a cozy home with a nice 2 story layout and a loft. Both bedrooms have their own little fireplace, which is a nice added touch. There was ample cookware and the beds were cozy. If you're traveling here in the winter it's best to have all wheel drive. We didn't, and had quite the time on their somewhat steep drive. The hot tub wasn't working properly so we weren't able to use that all weekend despite the owner having it serviced days prior to our arrival. The owner was responsive to our outreach when we needed assistance.

Excellent location / beautiful view / secluded

We were 4 adults and 3 children staying at this beautiful oasis. A very private property. Beautiful large windows to take in the view of surrounding trees. Kids loved the bunk beds and loft. Adults enjoyed the hot tub post ski day! Only minor issues were we didn’t have dry firewood inside …there was plenty on porch but it was wet due to snow. Oven wasn’t cleaned so we were unable to use it as it had grease on the bottom and started smoking when we tried to use it. Property manager was excellent helping us troubleshoot wifi connection issue. Julia was super friendly and responsive. We plan to trim again!

Ski Trip

Our stay was great for the most part. The house was cozy and had plenty of room for our group of seven. They had pots, pans, plates, etc needed to make cooking and eating easy. The hot tub was nice for the kids. The only downside to our tip was that there was snow melt from the amount of snow on the roof and it came in through the laundry room and the bedroom. It caused clothes on the floor to get wet and required us to wash them again. To be fair there was a large snow storm that dumped a lot of snow during our trip. Another concern is that the roads are treacherous on irish hill road and they are not plowed as often as other main roads. Our host was very responsive and the person who plows the driveway was very nice. It was a ten minute drive to holiday valley and that was a nice perk.

Perfect for us

Owner was very responsive to our limited questions. Property was as advertised. Hot tub and wood burning stove nice features that worked properly. Instructions easy to understand and accurate. Seems remote and secluded, but only a short drive to both Holimont and Holiday Valley. We skied both.

Great House for a Weeknd Getaway

My fiance and several friends of ours spent the long Martin Luther King Day weekend at this property in West Valley. The house is well appointed and slept all five of us comfortably (two couples, one single) and we even had a bedroom to spare. We really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of skiing in Ellicottville, and the wood burning fireplace in the dining room/kitchen area added nice warmth and ambiance. There are enough utensils/supplies in the house to cook, which was a plus for us (plates, silverware, pots/pans, baking dishes). We got 18" of snow between 8pm Sunday night and Monday morning, but the plow service came by in the morning and we were able to get out just fine.

Xmas Ski Trip

Xmas ski trip with family. Great place to stay and the hot tub was great after a day of skiing. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again in the future.

weekend getaway

This was the perfect getaway spot! It was so close to everything we needed. Unfortunately the weather was no good to go to holiday valley but we made the most of it by looking at the recommendations from the house book. We had everything we needed in the house upon arrival. Everything was perfect! Will keep this house in mind for future trips to NY!!

Army buddies get away

My 3 army pals and I get away once a year for Veterans day. This year was the 'cabin in the woods' idea. The place was clean, as described and perfect for us. We went to town, enjoyed the local beer, soaked in the hot tub, laughed and it even started to snow, first of the year, While we were in the hot tub. Great place. Thanks.
