We were amazed when we first visited this home. Could this really be our mountain getaway? Before we knew it we had purchased, renovated and made it our own. We are excited to share it with you. The views are spectacular and rival what you'll see from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Come see why we call this home Grandview! FREE activities including Biltmore, Rock Wall, Zipline, Whitewater Rafting, Trampoline Park, Snow Tubing and Axe Throwing.

This home is private and secluded, yet close enough to Brevard to be convenient. The one level living area of the home is all about the view. A huge living room with high ceilings and a stone fireplace with gas logs connects you the deck with a wall of tall windows and sliding glass doors. The master bedroom connects to our favorite room which is an enclosed solarium where you can enjoy the views from an indoor setting. It also connects to the deck, which is the best place to enjoy the view outdoors. There is another indoor view room at the far side of the deck that's great for kids and is set up with a TV, fiber internet 400/400 MBPS with mesh WIFI network, shuffleboard darts, seating and tables. There's a generous kitchen with a breakfast nook and picture window. The spacious bedrooms have plenty of natural light from the windows and are cheerful and bright.

Bring your bikes and your hiking gear because you'll want to explore all the outdoor spaces nearby. We are minutes from the entrance to Pisgah National Forest, DuPont State Forest (location of the first Hunger Games movie) and miles of scenic road biking. Gorges State Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville, Hendersonville and the Biltmore House are all an easy day trip from our location. Come enjoy all the local restaurants, breweries, music and activities our area has to offer. The home has a bike stand and mountain bike tools available in the garage work bench.

Everything was great and I would stay here again without hesitation. The house was well stocked, the bedrooms were comfortable, the views were spectacular. All communication had a quick and friendly response.

The home had an amazing view, it took our breath away several times. The entire home was spotless and I felt very comfortable. We saw a mama bear and two cubs walk through the yard on our first day. It was amazing to see them so close. It was so quiet and peaceful. We actually saw several monarch butterflies one evening on the back deck! We look forward to going back.

We came to Brevard to mountain bike and this location was perfect to access Pisgah and DuPont. Beautiful home inside and out. Loved the Mountain View and how quiet it was. Highly recommend this home. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful views of the mountains

This was a very beautiful location. The deck was awesome to enjoy to view the majesty of Gods tapestry. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of room for groceries and storage. The window room off of the bedroom was a cety peaceful place to rest & reflect.

Beautiful view.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean and well-maintained. The view from the deck is lovely and that was very important to us. The only recommendation I had was that they put some sort of shade or window covering on the two small windows in the bedroom.

Mountainside gem!

Had a great stay with a few friends over the weekend. The house had everything we needed, and is convenient to Dupont State Recreational Forest and downtown Brevard. Quiet, isolated, and clean with an amazing view off the back deck. Provided a needed get away for old friends. I would definitely recommend!

Secluded Mountainview!

Property is as pictured, even in March the deck view to the north....both day and night.....was mesmerizing. A 20-min drive to Brevard. No hiking trails per se, but hiking lightly-traveled road was easy. Be advised.....the house is secluded and stormy March weather brought down trees in the area, along with power and water. The Homeowners Association did a good job of clearing trees expeditiously. Property manager was responsive.

Quiet Family time with a great view

Very comfortable accommodation with great view of the sunrise over the ridge across the way. High enough to be over the morning clouds in the mountains. Great view! Kitchen had utensils and pots we needed. Short drive to DuPont State trails and waterfalls. Very pleased with our stay. Weā€™ll seek it out if we return.

Grandview Weekend

Location was great. Nice view from top of mountain. House had a paved drive up the mountain which made getting up the mountain very easy. House was very clean and had everything we needed for our trip. Brevard and Hendersonville were a short drive if you needed anything. Pete, our contact was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this property.

Amazing location and views

I canā€™t tell you how much we loved our stay! The house was fantastic with amazing views. We hiked to see four waterfalls and all were very close by. We loaded up on groceries and ate in for all meals utilizing the stocked kitchen and engine the fantastic views. Our preteens loved the bunk beds and enjoying hot chocolate on the swing. We will definitely be booking here again. I would love to see a heating element on the deck and we would never leave! We loved everything about this and canā€™t wait to book again!

My birthday and break from cancer treatment

A few friends and I stayed at this property to celebrate my 52nd birthday and a 6 week break from my cancer treatment. It was perfect! Beautiful views and lovely home for us to relax in and enjoy each other's company. We chased waterfalls nearby and went Axe throwing and had dinner. Slept like a baby listening to the rain and drove to Pretty Place chapel and Biltmore after check out. A prefect location to do nothing or do everything! Will be back!

Comfortable, clean and lives up to its name.

Property was just as advertised. Very clean spacious, well-kept home and property and the view is grand. The last eight minutes or so of the drive is very steep. Would not have liked to have done it in winter weather or rain. About 17 minutes to Brevard and within an hour to numerous waterfalls, great hikes, etc. Canā€™t wait to book again!

Breath taking views

Location, location, location!! Canā€™t beat the sunrises and view. Lovely property. Bathrooms could be cleaner. Comfy beds and nice decor. Game room tv and ceiling fan donā€™t have remotes. Management company bought a fan. Beautiful area. Very steep drive up mountain; we used low gear.

Summer Get a Way

This house was great! Check in process was delayed because we did not receive the door code in time. But.. no big deal Brevard was a great place to visit!! Mountain Bike trails are super close and accessible. House had a musty smell to it the first night. But after opening windows and letting fresh air in it was fine. The views are absolutely amazing!! We will definitely come back!

Hidden Gem

Hubble and I dropped our daughter off at camp and stayed for 4 extra days and we didnā€™t want to leave at all! We were woken up by the most beautiful sunrises every morning!! STUNNING!! The house is in a great location with easy access to DuPont State Forest, Pisgah National Forest, and Brevard. Just a short drive to Hendersonville and Asheville! The game room is great but we spent most evenings on the porch watching the clouds roll through the mountains. It is a steep drive up, go slow, but we made it just fine even with a bike rack on the back of our medium sized SUV. We will absolutely be back again and would highly recommend it to anyone thatā€™s wanting to sit back and relax or have lots of adventures like we did! Great property management company as well! Very quick to respond!

Beautiful view but....

The views from this house are spectacular. The wall facing the mountains is almost all windows which provides beautiful views from most of the living areas. Howeverā€¦ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦ the furniture, the decorations, and the main bedroom mattress are a bit tired and could use replacing. The building could also benefit from a little TLC. The ā€œbonesā€ of the house are all there. With some freshening this could be one of the best rentals in the entire area. That said, we would still recommend this rental, even as is, just because of the spectacular views. The solarium is a wonderful place to sit and have a morning coffee and watch the sun rise.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay and this place never disappoints! I would say rent from Pete Key vs VBRO. More personal touch. This house is super clean. Not one complaint. Not even the slightest. View are THE BEST! Kids will love the game room and there are just so many special spots to this home. We love the location as well. Donā€™t be put off by the climb to get to the home. Once you arrive you will appreciate why. Last year we drove my car and this year my husbands truck. You donā€™t need a 4wd. It is definitely a place for memories! Great job to whomever keeps this place in top shape!!

Best Vacation Property EVER!

We have traveled extensively through mountain towns of Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina and this property is our absolute favorite. This was our first time staying at this beautiful home with amazing views. We plan on booking same property again next year. We had such a homey, comfortable stay and were sad to leave. The house was clean when we arrived. We were so pleased to see the lights were left on for us as we are always late arrivals because it's all about the journey by car. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. We loved the little touches and the beautiful decor of the home. We had a couple of questions when we checked in and reached out to Pete key and their response time was incredibly quick, thorough, friendly and respectful. They made us feel like a true value client. The mountain views of this property cannot be adequately captured in photos. They are absolutely spectacular. We could not wait to return after a full day of playing tourist just so we could sit on the deck during the sunset hours. We even stayed on the deck after sunset because it was so enjoyable. We left the curtains to the master suite open so we could literally watch the sunrise from bed. The outside of the property is just as beautiful. Some reviews stated that the road up to the house was challenging. We drive a minivan and found that the roads were paved, clean and easy to navigate. We simply put the van in low gear as we were headed up the mountai, no issues.
