Happy Trails, Over the Mountain Cabin Rentals is our first choice is our first choice for a Fall getaway to the mountains.

This is our second year to stay at Happy Trails. We love the location, the layout of the house, the views and have had prompt communication with Stacia and Larry. Before our arrival the frequent and timely communication included everything we needed to know to prepare for our stay. I have been renting homes in the Cobbly Nob Village for over thirty years, and I feel very fortunate to have found Over the Mountain Cabin Rentals as rental companies change over the years and we were in search of a new cabin rental business.

Cabin was great beds are very comfortable and it has an amazing view. Just far enough away from town to relax and enjoy the quiet yet close enough to enjoy the attractions daily. We had visits from bears several times during our stay. The host is great and responsive to any questions or situation.

Enjoyed the beautiful views of the mountains and location was convenient. Easy check in and out.

Loved the home it had everything and was very clean. Beautiful views of the mountains through the large windows all around. Enjoyed sitting on the 2 decks and having coffee. Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of towels. The location was convenient.

Getting to the house on the windy Mountain roads was a challenge at almost midnight when we got into town. But when we got off in the morning and went out on the deck, the view was stunning! The house was very accommodating for four people we would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay here. Beautiful view, quiet, and the house was everything we needed. Close enough to Gatlinburg and the mountains. Our adult kids loved playing pool and shuffle board. The hot tub was nice too. The roads up to the house were a little narrow but we got used to them. We definitely would stay here again.

You can't beat the view here! The house was great and had everything we needed. It was so quiet and peaceful, a nice change from Gatlinburg. It was not too far from what we wanted to do (Anakeesta, Great Smoky Mountains). We also liked that check out wasn't too involved- no washing sheets or stripping beds like other places we've stayed. We would definitely go back.

The host provided everything to begin our visit, including coffee! The views are beautiful in every direction and the house's main level is as if one is living outside yet being inside.

Beautiful view!

Our family had a great time! Amazing view every morning to wake up to, the drinking coffee on the porch watching the sunrise over the Smokey Mountains was breathtaking. Owners very responsive and quickly fixed the minor issues we had.

We had a wonderful time at Happy Trails. The house was clean and the hot tub felt great. The two wood burning fireplaces are a nice touch. The wifi worked fine and we were able to stream movies and shows on the TVs. My favorite thing about the house was the view of the mountains, wow! We would definitely stay here again.

Great hidden stay in the Smokies

This is a great place to stay with owners that really seem like they want you to have the best experience you can have. They have a great welcome guide that was handy to have before and during our stay. We definitely had bear encounters while there and it was very exciting!
