Loggerhead Cay Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the condo at Loggerhead Cay. It was beautiful, very clean and roomy with everything we needed. Also very tastefully decorated and appeared to be just like the pictures. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.

Wonderful Stay

We loved every minute on sanibel. Although construction going on nearby it did not interfer with a good time and a great stay. Unit was good and views were fantastic

Memories Made!

Accommodations were outstanding. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, close to the pool and beach. Property manager was very helpful with all of our needs especially with Hurricane Helene issues.

Great stay. Condo was “as advertised”. Only issue was no TV’s in the bed rooms, and no wine glasses. Would stay again, no questions asked!

Condo was beautifully decorated and taken care of except the only television in the condo was broken. It was never fixed the entire week we were there.

Sanibel Revisited

We were so happy to get back to Sanibel since Hurricane Ian. It is our "happy place." Loved the condo and its location along with the shelling....We were here to see the lighthouse repaired! It was a relaxing vacation away from the ice and snow of home.

Beautiful unit in Loggerhead Cay

We stayed for a week with my husband's sister and her husband. The unit is beautiful and the area is slowly recovering from Ian. The kitchen is perfectly outfitted, beach towels, wagon and beach chairs are provided. Wow oud def return!

Breakaway Property Management answered my texts & calls promptly, they were helpful and polite. Location is close to the causeway and beach, with many paths leading to the water. The condo is comfortable with nice furnishings. The aesthetic is calming, clean, and roomy. We enjoyed our week and found many lovely shells and met some wonderful people from other parts of the nation.

We have stayed at Loggerhead Cay for several years and this was our first time in this particular unit. The accommodations were very comfortable, tastefully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the unit also provided beach essentials such as a cart, chairs, and sand toys, which made our stay even more convenient.The only drawback was with the management company, Break Away Vacations. Since the unit was unoccupied the week prior to our arrival, I inquired about extending our stay by a few days. I explained that we were interested in staying a minimum of nine nights, but was told they only rent in seven-night increments. This was disappointing, especially since our daughter’s family, staying in another Loggerhead Cay unit through Select Vacation Properties, had no issue extending their stay as we have also done in the past.We would gladly stay in this particular unit again, but ideally under different management such as Select Vacation Properties.

Memorable New Years trip

This place is a 5 condo! The complex is excellent - a lot of fantastic amenities (including recently repaved tennis/pickleball courts we used daily) and a pool. And then of course the best part … great beach access. Being on the ground floor was a perk and made everything easier. The condo itself was very well redone with the furnishings and kitchen amenities. The pictures absolutely accurately depict everything correctly. Don’t pass up on this gem. The only thing missing was an actual ocean view but everything else made up for it! We hope to be back

Amazing Condo in Great Location

We LOVED this condo. My husband and I spent a week there with my parents who are in their 70s and our two dachshunds. Being on the first floor was fantastic as no one needed to climb stairs, and it was easy to take the dogs out. The unit itself is absolutely beautiful - it's spotless, recently renovated, and decorated very nicely. The furniture was very tasteful and comfortable. It was also super spacious for 4 adults, and I could see it also being fine if you had a couple kids as well as I think the couches were pullout beds. The condo community Loggerhead Key is also quite lovely. They are older buildings as is typical on Sanibel, but the grounds are immaculately kept. There is a large pool which although quite busy at times, always seemed to have enough room for everyone. Best of all is the location - the community is right on the beach. We are already planning our trip back to Sanibel and are seriously considering booking this condo again. It really was perfect!

Not like the pictures

1; living room furniture sucked 2; No hot water in the “ master” bathroom sink 3; People came into the Condo when we were NOT there.( Tuesday) Someone should of called to make sure it was ok 4; they tried coming in AGAIN Friday when we were in bed my husband heard them and got to the door . This is Not ok!! And I expect my $200.00 dollar refund for “cleaning” since I had to clean it!!!!!!

property is fine considering hurricane the pictures are not accurate and probably are pre-hurricane, but given that they do not reflect how the condo - especially the living room - now looks, they should be changed the property manager does not respond at the listed email address but was very helpful by phone the condo was not easy to find as there were no good numbers (i can understand this from hurricane damage, but the property manager could have made it easier. e.g., what building number; west side or east side. what floor condo was on, etc etc there was no marked parking, even though i was told that there was; similarly, no parking pass, although i was told there would be for the amount of money paid, how difficult would it have been to leave a box of kleenex; and although the listing said laundry detergent, there was none

Summer Relaxation

Our family has been staying at Loggerhead Cay on Sanibel Island for over 35 years and I can say that this unit was immaculate. It was clean and had a beach wagon with chairs which made walking to the beach so much easier! The washer/dryer was smaller than most but the unit was amazing so it was easy to overlook. It’s the best unit I’ve stayed in at Loggerhead Cay.

Beautiful Condo

We enjoyed our time in this beautiful, sunny condo. We have stayed on Sanibel Island many times, and this was one of the cleanest units that we have experienced. The location is very convenient to all the fun activities that the island has to offer. We will definitely return for another vacation in this wonderful condo!

Perfect location for Sanibel stay

This condo is easy to get to off the causeway. It has a great pool and you’re just steps from the beach. Everything you need for the beach is provided but you’ll need to rent or bring your own bikes.

Good break from the cold

Just as depicted online but better. The bed was comfortable & that’s so important. Always love Sanibel. Very convenient for the dog being on the ground floor. Only issue was the dishwasher didn’t clean the greatest & didn’t dry at all. Reported to Mgr & they will send someone. Not a big deal when you’re enjoying Sanibel.

Great place. Clean with reliable wifi which was important for me to work remotely for a week. Kids had a lot of fun. Beach is by the property and has a good size pool. There are great restaurants in Sanibel and Captiva. Definitely we’ll be back

Great place to stay, convenient, and fun

Had a fantastic time visiting Sanibel. This rental was great. Very clean, conveniently located, and a great space for my family. Easy access to the causeway and main intersection for the island. Great walkway to the pool or the beach. Unit has some amenities for you to use, boogie boards, sand toys, a beach cart and towels. Was pleasantly surprised. The only con i can think of, is if you’re bringing your dog, there’s no convenient area to walk your dog unless you walk to either end of the property, as you are not allowed to do so in the interior areas as you walk to pool or beach. Otherwise a great and lovely property.

Ahhhhh…just what we needed

The place was immaculately clean and looked professionally styled. I love the starfish theme! There was beach equipment which was important for our family because of flying. I loved the washer and dryer along with all the appliances, which were in excellent shape! The AC was cold and the ceiling fans kept the swampy heat at bay making for a good nights rest. The beds were typical and the bedding comfy. I love the towel ‘Swans’ at the foot of the king bed! I felt like I was in my own zip code in that huge bed. Being on the first floor, the lani was perfect for a morning cup of coffee and the access to the pool , which was close to this unit, was ideal. No steps for us older folks! Communication with the rental company was excellent, as there were some doors and blinds that were broken. They will be replacing and fixing them! They were very understanding and responsive. The unit itself is situated in a quiet, less crowded area, so going to the beach and spending time there was one of my highlights! Grab a rental car and order in! The island has a company that delivers to your unit. No Grubhub or Uber here which I begrudgingly appreciated. Overall, I would definitely take my family here again! So many new friends and good memories. Thank you!

Anniversary Get Away

This property was just as described. Everything up to date, comfortable furniture, just steps to the beach. The condo had everything for a day at the beach, chairs, wagon, cooler. We had a wonderful time, booked again for same time next year.
