Loggerhead Cay 434 is a fourth-floor vacation rental condo on Sanibel Island. Loggerhead Cay #434 is one of those rare units that has it all! The condo is meticulously maintained, updated, and is loaded with extras! This beautiful condo features new furnishings, a new king-sized bed in the master suite, a full size bed and a bunk bed with two twin beds. There's also a sleeper sofa in the living room for a total occupancy of 6 people, perfect for families. Loggerhead #434 was also recently improved with new paint, silverware, linens, fixtures, vanities, and mirrors. This light and bright top floor condo really bring the Island experience to life.

And if you like in-room entertainment you won't be disappointed. The condo has 3 flat-screen TV's, a computer desk, board games, books, and more! Add cable TV, free high-speed Wi-Fi and DVD player.

The Loggerhead Cay resort is located on the desirable east end of the Island, directly on the sandy beaches of Sanibel! The resort common areas feature tennis courts, a large, heated pool, shuffleboard, outdoor grilling, and more. For those who like the outdoors and exploring the island, Loggerhead Cay unequaled access to bike paths, the causeway, the fishing pier, historic Lighthouse Park, and much more. Couple all of this with affordable rates (lower than many other properties that offer a lot less), and you will definitely be getting the most out of your Island vacation!

If safety and indoor air quality is a concern, there is no better choice than Loggerhead Cay #434. the condo is outfitted with a complete HVAC Ultraviolet light system that sterilizes moving air throughout the air conditioning ductwork. The UV light unit is installed in the return air duct and cycles on with the fan and has been proven effective in improving airborne air quality, killing bacteria and airborne pathogens! The condo also offers a contact-free check-in option, by using our recently upgraded keyless entry system.

Once you stay at Loggerhead Cay #434 once, you'll be hooked, and we are sure you will want to come back to #434 year after year.

Best condo

Spotless and clean, super amount of space, washer and dryer, elevator, beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach cart to carry it, all within 2-3 min walk to beach. Included weeks worth of detergent for laundry, full bar soap, tp, dishwasher tabs, included beach towels, fully stocked kitchen. We packed lighter than any trip we have been on and even came home with clean clothes and no laundry to do at home. You can even step out front door, sip coffee, and see both sides of ocean on each side of island to check the waves. Best condo we have been in. And island is restoring well. Lots of restaurants open.

Sanibel Stay

The property was very nice. It would be nice to have some updated beach chairs(4) and the couches were a little worn. The recliner was very comfy! We would definitely stay here again. (Parents with 2 grown daughters)

This was a rather last minute booking since we were supposed to be going on a cruise and due to COVID issues, made the decision to postpone and go to Florida instead. This was our second trip to Sanibel and we have a 2-week stay booked for the Spring. The Loggerhead Cay condo was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised how well stocked it was. Finding the beach cart in the second bedroom closet was a bonus find and came in handy!The condo community is well kept and the landscaping is beautiful. We loved the beach and the pool and used both daily. The guests we met were very nice and friendly which contributed to making our winter vacation very pleasant.We had a maintenance issue in the master bathroom which was addressed immediately. The property management office was responsive to our report and the maintnence person was friendly and acccommodating. Our only complaint is the mattress/box spring in the master bedroom. Simply turning over in the bed woke us up. The bed was not uncomfortable but definitely had some issues. Any amount of motion on the bed resulted in a loud, annoying noise. This was frustrating to both of us since we were looking forward to some relaxation and rest. We found we did not sleep very well for the entire week.Other than the issue with the mattress, our winter vacation was excellent.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Aside from the broken beach chairs, uncomfortable furniture and bedding and lack of baking dishes, this condo is very nice. We expected this unit to be beachfront and did not realize that we’d have to walk 100 yards to the beach. Also, the way that the units are lined up, any sound made on the lanai echos through the courtyard so you must be very quiet. There is a security guard that monitors the pool each day. It was just not quite what we had expected.

Great place, great pool and on the beach!

What a great deal on the island. Close to everything you need and super nice unit with a beach theme. Shaded screen porch during the morning. This is a multi use complex but never seem crowded with an updated pool the fall of 2020. I hope we can go back again as Sanibel Island lived up to our expectations!

It is a short walk to the beach and to the pool. We eat dinner on the screened in balcony and can see the spectacular colors of the sunset over the gulf. The new keyless entry is fantastic! It was so great not having to worry about bringing a key to and from the beach each day. We will be back again next year!!

This condon had everything needed for your stay. Beach towels, beach gear, pack and play crib for babies and cooking tools for outdoor grilling located on the property.If anything the beds could be upgraded in the near future. Please replace the carpet

I would love to give this condo a five star review but I just can't. We stayed at this condo a few years ago when it was listed as pet friendly. The owner changed property managers and no longer accepts pets. But the carpet is the same. It's downright gross. There's a dark shadow that's visible to the eye that goes into the master bedroom. My son ended up sick and we left early. Also, the mattress in the master is as hard as a brick. Property manager was ok but we preferred the previous one. Previous one would check in and make sure you had everything you needed. When we arrived at check-in this time the women in the office ignored me until I finally said something. Never heard from them again. Otherwise, it is well stocked and a fantastic location. Love the remodeling in the bath and the new blinds/shutters.
