This beautifully updated Charleston-style cottage in Seaside, Florida, comfortably sleeps 10 and offers the perfect blend of charm, comfort, and location. Just a 3-minute walk to the beach and steps from the West Side Pool, this home is ideally situated for enjoying everything Seaside has to offer. Designed in a modified “dog trot” style, the cottage features two first-floor bedrooms with private entrances off a large screened porch, while the main living areas and primary bedroom are located upstairs.

Upon arrival, guests are greeted by convenient front parking and a welcoming outdoor space that includes Adirondack seating for three, a large picnic table, and an enclosed outdoor shower—all ideal for relaxing after a day at the beach. Step into the spacious screened porch to access the downstairs bedrooms. One is a fun bunk room with a twin bunk bed and a twin-over-double bunk, sleeping four total, and complete with a dresser and flat-screen TV. Just off this room is a shared full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. In the adjacent hallway, you'll find a built-in twin bunk nook that sleeps two more and includes individual mounted TVs for added comfort and entertainment. Down the hall is a king bedroom with its own private ensuite bathroom featuring a walk-in shower.

Upstairs, the second floor features the primary king bedroom with a dressing area and full bath. The open living area is warm and inviting, perfect for gathering with family or friends, while the spacious, fully updated kitchen includes upscale appliances and ample room for preparing meals. A washer and dryer are also conveniently located on this level. From the main living area, a spiral staircase leads to a third-floor tower offering panoramic views of Seaside and the Gulf beyond.

The home also features two levels of generous outdoor living spaces, including large screened porches, a dining table that seats eight, numerous rocking chairs, a cozy sleeping bench, and unique local artwork throughout. Additional amenities include a built-in stereo system and multiple TVs with DVD players. With its thoughtful layout, stylish updates, and unbeatable location, this cottage is a perfect retreat for families or groups seeking the quintessential Seaside experience.

For additional room, the one-bedroom guest house, Grace Sea, VRBO # 2184858, may also be rented. Or the full 4-bedroom house, Sandy Toes, can be rented.

* 5 night minimum Spring, Spring Break, and Summer; 3 night minimum Fall; 2 night minimum Winter. Must be 25 years of age to rent and sign registration.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we were very happy with our stay. However on our first night the three smoke alarm downstairs started beeping. We took out the batteries in all three but they kept beeping. Called the oncall number and was told someone would be out at 8 in the morning to check-well that wasn't acceptable as noone could sleep through the beeps. Ended up going to Publix and buying new batteries and installed them.

Clean, comfortable, and convenient!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I hosted seven high school senior boys (our son and six of his friends), and we had a nice experience at Seabiscuit. All seven slept comfortably downstairs, while my wife and I had the master suite to ourselves. Plenty of room inside and on the two levels of spacious porch! The outdoor shower and picnic table area came in handy after hours at the beach. The property was clean and well maintained. We asked for a couple of additional supplies during our stay (like kitchen garbage bags), and these were supplied promptly and courteously. The walk to the Seaside town center was short--about five minutes. It was nice to stroll there in the cool mornings to pick up coffee and donuts to bring back to the house.

Nice, But the property rental prices are inflated

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, cute house with average amenities.The rental market has become a greedy space to navigate. Over $7000k to rent this property for 6 nights. It's Seaside- not exactly a glamours tropical destination. The rental company inflates the housing prices during spring break, effectively pushing many families out of options to take their family away for their break. This also promotes over crowding these homes with multiple families and kids in order to make in financialy possible for many to even consider taking time away. I sincerely hope this eventually blows up in the rental companies faces with an ordinance preventing total occupancy to be policed preventing multiple families from rental one property. That will cut down on the number of ppl having the option to visit this area, and hopefully leaving the renters no choice but to lower their pricing back to reasonable levels. Charging over $600 for cleaners to get the rental restored, a few hours work at the most once the rental has been vacated is criminal and basically robbing renters. We will not rent from Home Owners Collection is the future. They have provided nothing other than taking our money.
