Villa Colina is a private 3500 sqft home featuring 4 bedroom suites, 4 bathrooms, two outdoor showers, an outdoor bathtub, beautiful gardens with heated saline pool and two palapas. Villa Colina is solar powered. It sleeps to to 10 guests. Villa Colina is the perfect vacation home for friends and family looking for beauty, luxury and old Mexico charm. You will love the modern amenities and immediate access to the beach and town; you are 1½ blocks to the beach and town center in Sayulita’s most sought after vacation rental neighborhood.

STUNNING GARDENS, PALAPAS, AND POOL WITH WADING AREA
The saline swimming pool is heated in the cooler months (generally between December and April). The remodeled pool features a wading area for the kids and is surrounded by delightful gardens and amazing ocean views. This sunny outdoor site with palapa living area with mounted Bluetooth speakers will be a major gathering spot for everyone.

In the villa you will find every convenience:
• High speed wifi with a mesh network throughout the property;
• Whole house triple filtered water for drinking plus a U.S. commercial grade water filter under the kitchen sinks for added purity;
• Separately controlled A/C in each room of the house;
• Smart TV with Netflix and other apps;
• Fully stocked cook's kitchen with pantry items, coffee, and all paper goods
• Full set of bathroom amenities; hotel-style safes in each room;

I loved every second at Villa Colina. It was the perfect house for a multi-generational family. . Ernesto was great, he answered our questions in a timely manner, even offered suggestions on where to get cash, and was able to get us golf carts day of, and so much more. Everything Maria cooked for us was awesome, and there was always a ton of leftovers. It was perfect proximity to the main square in Sayulita. We will definitely be coming back!!

Amazing! This property was stunning! We loved every aspect. The outdoor grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed spending time in the pool and under the gazebo. The bathrooms were beautiful. There is a path right next to the villa that goes right to town. The communication with the property manager was great. They were all so helpful with everything. We had a chef come in which I would highly recommend! I wish we would have been able to do that more than once. I also recommend a golf cart if you want to get around the town more or if you have some elderly people with you, although it isn’t necessary. Overall, we all really enjoyed our stay at Villa Colina!

Our group was two families of 4 with kids ranging 7-14. This house was very beautiful. The outdoor space was amazing and we hung out there everyday. We would come back from the beach, shower off the sand in the outdoor shower and then enjoy the heated pool. The setup of the house is hard to understand online, but it's well laid out and they were very accommodating for arranging beds to meet our group's needs. Location was very close to town, but the rooms were well insulated and we had no issue with noise. It's at the top of a hill, but it was not steep enough that I would say a golf cart is needed. The kitchen was well stocked. The cleaning everyday but Sunday was very nice. Eva was very attentive and answered all questions we had quickly. They also provide binoculars and we saw a whale pod from the chairs by the pool. I would stay here again and I would recommend this property.

Had a phenomenal stay at Villa Colina!

Our group of 6 loved our stay at Villa Colina!! The hosts were very communicative and helped accommodate all our needs. It’s very centrally located to enjoy Sayulita, and has an absolutely gorgeous view of the beach. We enjoyed the Mahi Mahi chef dinner the first night of our stay and it was delicious - would highly recommend adding this to your experience. We’d love to come back!!

Amazing Girls Trip! Ideal location

The house was even more beautiful than the photos. The air conditioning worked great. The walk into town was easy from the steps next to the house. Maria was so helpful in answering our questions and keeping everything maintained. We had breakfast everyday and there were leftovers for lunch. We would highly recommend and would love to come back!

Loved the guacamole and chips at check in! Beautiful home with beautiful view. Host was very helpful with arranging rides etc. noisy at nights, but earplugs were provided and appreciated!

2 week stay at Villa Colina

Me, my husband & 9 year old son stayed 12 wonderful days in Sayulita. The private pool was amazing. I would suggest taking advantage of the private chef. The house and gardens were kept very clean.

From beginning to end we loved everything about Casa Colina. It was perfect for a party of 10. María was always so kind and helpful. Relaxing trip

Great location with Fantastic views. Enjoyed hanging out with my family. I got my exercise in walking up and down the path from the city to the house. Conveniently located close to the beach and city. It takes about two minutes to walk up the path to the house. Surfboards and boogie boards are available at the property if you would like to indulge in that.

Fantastic property and house team!

We absolutely loved the house, location and whole property! We enjoyed the pool, view, kitchen and all the places to sit and read or enjoy a bevvie. The whole house team took great care of us- we didn’t want to leave! We also appreciated the earplugs and AC to offset the late holiday cheer from the town each night. Would recommend it and hope to return!

Beautiful home away from the noises of Sayulita

I celebrated my bachelorette at this home and it was the perfect spot to get all my girlfriends together! The home was spacious enough to allow all of us to have our own space. Eating outside on the patio and enjoying the view was one of our favorite things to do. Our private chef was incredible, definitely hire her! The walk into the city was convenient as well, we didn’t find that we needed to rent golf carts to get around. We felt very safe and cared for in the home. We also loved using the surfboards that were provided to surf on the beach! Would definitely love to stay again!

Gorgeous home with more amenities than we even realized!

Nine of us stayed in the house for a bachelorette party and there was plenty of room for our large group. Eva was a fantastic host and the staff was amazing as well. The home is huge and everything about the space is even nicer IRL. A few standouts - the yard has a gorgeous view of the beach, the AC is strong, there's overnight security, and the whole house has filtered water which was a huge perk. Eva offers help with everything from grocery delivery, to car services and in-home chef booking. The kitchen felt small for the size of the house but we didn't cook much so it wasn't a problem. Would totally recommend this spot!

Lovely home and what a view!!

Villa Colina is gorgeous. The home is cozy and the view is spectacular. The pool is also such a gift. It’s so clean and calming. A nice place to relax after a day of exploring. The layout is great for extended family. And Maria who comes to clean is a very special woman. I’m glad they provided sound machines since the nightlife in Sayulita is busy these days. And Eva was so helpful with any issue, concern or activities we wanted to plan. Thank you for an incredible stay!

Great for groups

This place was great for an adult group of 8. We ended up converting a living room couch into a bed. Really good property for access to town via walking and golf cart. Management is easy to communicate with. The house itself has all needed amenities. Excellent pool side set up and palapa dining set up. We found that the in-house dining and chef was lower quality and higher expense than other places similar. That is the only negative to this wonderful place.

Perfection!

We are Sayulita pros, and this is our new favorite place to stay. The location is perfect. Because you are on the hill, you’ll have to walk up and down it a few times a day. But it’s worth it for the views and the cool breeze that comes through all day. The pool is perfect…our family swam 4x per day. We are all of our meals in the outdoor palapa. The house was clean, and the staff was incredible. Everything was easy, and we could have stayed for weeks. All of the beach equipment was in great condition. BTW: Do not miss the opportunity to have Sirenia, the optional chef, cook you a meal. No lie: single best Mexican meal of our lives. And that includes gourmet restaurants. Our favorites were her cheese enchiladas and her garlic shrimp. We will dream of them for years. We felt super secure throughout our trip. Count on us to return! Thank you Eva, Ernesto, Mari, Sirenia, and Marcelino! We will see you again soon!

Great property, loud nights.

The house and property were fantastic and just as described in the listing. Our two families consisting of 4 adults and 5 children ranging in ages from 10 to 14 had plenty of room and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Every day was beach day followed by evenings split between strolling the town and enjoying the nice warm pool. The beds and linens were very comfortable and Mari did a wonderful job with the daily cleaning. The only downside of Villa Colina is uncontrollable by the property owners, but must be stated for future visitors who love a good nights sleep. The club music from the village is very loud and runs until 2-3am on weekdays and 4am on the weekend. The main house is fairly sheltered by the from the noise by the neighbors house and isn’t much of an issue, but the two tower bedrooms have an unobstructed view of the village and are part of party. Regular earplugs are provided (thank you!) but don’t do enough to allow for peaceful rest even with doors and windows closed and the A/C and sound machine running. Bring your noise cancelling devices; it’s your only escape. Again, a small gripe about an otherwise amazing vacation.

Lovely family stay!

Our family of 8 had a great stay at Villa Colina for 8 nights. The pool was gorgeous, warm and clean, and the house was kept spotless. The pool palapa was the perfect place for the family to congregate. We had 2 private chef meals which were wonderful and loved by all ages. A golf cart was fun to have but not really needed unless you have a guest with mobility issues, as it is a very quick 3-min walk down the hill to the beach/restaurants. The rooms fit perfectly for us, but note that the loft room isn’t private, it's inside the 2nd floor tower room. The only drawback to our stay was the shockingly loud music coming from town at night, heard especially by those in the tower rooms: thumping music & full marching bands going all night. Each room comes with ear plugs and a sound machine (thankfully, bc they are much needed) but they are no match to the sound. We live in NYC and are very used to a loud city/sirens/chaos at night and it doesn’t hold a candle to this! It would be the one reason we wouldn’t choose this house again- it’s such an idyllic location, so peaceful and cozy during the day, only to drive you crazy at night. We were there around spring break, so it’s possible that we just had a bad luck, but I wish I had given more weight to the other reviews mentioning the noise. Overall, still a truly wonderful trip - that’s just how nice this villa is.

AMAZING

This property is AMAZING. Just as described. The pictures are very accurate. We had 8 adults and we all had plenty of room. The view is beautiful. The rooms are nice and beds are comfortable. Bathrooms and showers are also great. The pool and palapa are where we spent most of our time. We were all blown away by our vacation here. The Villas staff are so great and helpful. The owner Eva was very helpful and had so many recommendations. We had a wonderful breakfast and evening Happy Hour done at the Villa and highly recommend. We also had a private Mariachi band come on our last evening & it was fantastic. The property is very safe & there’s evening security staff. We all wondered around town and came home late and never had any issues. The town was amazing and we always felt safe. It’s a busy town with music going late into the night which we enjoyed. Neighborhood was also very friendly. There is a steep hill from town and from the beach to the Villa but we had no issues. Full kitchen and full sized refrigerator. Water service is provided. Also there is a small kitchenette in one of the tower rooms. I highly recommend this Villa. And can’t wait to return. Ally Cat excursions is a must. The added transportation to and from the airport is worth the money. Beach massages were cheap and fabulous. Seriously there is nothing negative about this Villa or town.

Magical. I can’t think of a better place to stay with a family of three generations with numerous personalities and desires than Villa Colina. Utterly charming and full of character, I am at this moment sharing the stories of our stay with friends, hoping to return with a new group as soon as possible. From the very start, Eva made the registration, planning process, and arrival effortless. There was always a quick response to questions. All of her recommendations were of the highest quality, from snorkeling excursions to celebrating our last sunset together under the talapa with a mariachi serenade. Villa Colina is not only one of the prettiest places I’ve stayed, but it is also one of the most comfortable. And ‘quality’ is the keyword. Maria and Marcelino keep the house and grounds impeccably clean. The rooms were spacious. The pillows, beds, and sheets were wonderful. Every room had its own bathroom and shower. The kitchen was well-stocked. The saltwater pool, which is larger than it appears in the photos, easily stole my attention from the beach, only a few minutes walk away. I never wanted to leave. What will I remember most about our vacation? The charismatic and quirky Sayulita was wonderful. But, the one thing we are all still raving about—Villa Colina.

We have traveled extensively and when we discovered Sayulita we knew we found our special place. We fell in love with Villa Colina as soon as we saw it – the layout of the house works really well for extended family and groups of friends.

Villa Colina is perfect for an extended family or friend group, offering lots of private space between the Main House and Tower Wing.

THE MAIN HOUSE (2 Bedroom Suites)
In the main house you’ll find a lovely living room, fully supplied kitchen and dining area with folding glass doors that fully open up to the pool, garden and palapa.

Bedroom Suite 1: The king primary suite features an extremely comfortable memory foam bed, a veranda sitting area with hammock and gorgeous ocean views and both an indoor custom tiled full bath and a very special 2-person outdoor tub and shower in a small private garden.

Bedroom Suite 2: The TV Room with Smart TV can be converted to its own private suite with a full bathroom. The foam couches are topped with a memory foam mattress to become a comfortable queen bed or two single beds.

THE TOWER WING (2 bedroom Suites)
The Tower Wing is located just off the back of the Main House.

Bedroom Suite 3: The 1st Floor King Suite has a private veranda with amazing views of the ocean & town and its own full bathroom. You'll also find an additional single foam couch bed suitable for a child, topped with memory foam for comfort.

Bedroom Suite 4: The 2nd Floor Suite has a 20-foot ceiling and wonderful ocean, town, and mountain views from the exquisite veranda. On the main floor of this suite you’ll find a luxury king bed that can be converted to twin beds, a kitchenette, charming full bathroom, and a large veranda with a table and chairs, a couch, and awesome ocean and town views. Climb the staircase to a loft with a luxury queen bed. From the 2nd floor suite you have immediate access to the upper palapa, a quiet area with more ocean views and where we suggest setting up for your in-Villa massage.

In Fall 2023 all bedrooms were upgraded with European-designed soundproof windows and doors. All beds have new memory foam mattresses and soft bamboo sheets for a luxurious rest.
