You have found the perfect lake cottage at our “Cozy Cozy Cottage “ Minutes from the village of Hammondsport, “The Coolest Small Town in America.” Here you can find many restaurants and attractions. A well-decorated lake cottage with inviting space greets you when you enter our 3rd floor entryway.

In this floor the master bedroom is located . The master bedroom has floor to ceiling windows that gives you spectacular views of the sunrise early morning and amazing views of the lake . Attached to the master bedroom there is a walk in closet and a master bathroom. Master bathroom has a double vanity with live edge slab countertops and river stone backsplash. Soak in the tub after a fun day on the lake . Another bedroom is located on this floor that has views of the lush hills .
As you go down the stairs you will reach the spacious open concept living room/dining room/kitchen.

The kitchen features stainless steel appliances and a gas range stove. You can enjoy cooking for your family while your gaze stares at the beautiful views of the lake. Just off the kitchen there is another full bathroom with double vanity and a standing shower.

The living room offers full views of the lake from the comfort of the sectional and a chaise for the accommodation of many guests. You can enjoy watching your favorite movie or show on the 75-inch screen TV. Or you can enjoy an al fresco dinner right on the porch and staring the stars. Right off the living room there is another bedroom.

The stairs off this floor lead down to another suite in the lower floor. This suite is furnished with a sofa where you sit and enjoy the the view of the lake or walk right out on the porch. This suite comes with a king bed and a full bathroom.
The front of this property is where you would want to spent most of the time . There is and outdoor sectional right on the dock where you can sit around the fire pit and enjoy the beautiful evening having a glass of wine or simply roasting marshmallows.

The property is located in a great fishing spot (make sure you bring your fishing equipment). As you fish you can use the gas/charcoal grill to cook your catch.

Great! Stay!

The eight of us in my family spent 4 and half days and had a great time. Beautiful view of the lake and hills. Very nice spacious house, clean with modern well equipped kitchen. The host was easily accessible and so helpful.

Wonderful Getaway

Our family, ages 2-68 enjoyed our stay at Cozy Cozy Cottage. The location and views were wonderful. Vilma was quick to respond to any questions. We would love to come again.

Nice cottage!

The house was lovely. Very convenient to have a full bath on all three levels. Our group was ages 21-79 and everyone had a great time!

Amazing House and Owner!

This house was perfect for our group of cousins and is in the best location. Even with the storm that occurred, we still had the best time in the area and the owner was so responsive and handled any issues and questions promptly. I can’t thank them enough, their house is beautiful!! Will definitely be returning.

Nice house. Great location.

We had a great time at this house and it was perfect for our group of 9. A/C did not fully cool the house down but kept the living room very comfortable. Window air in the master bedroom. Can’t beat the access to the lake- the dock was perfect-fishing, hanging out, and to park our rental boat. Would definitely stay here again on future trips to the area.

Beautiful house and location

We had an absolutely wonderful experience here. The house is in a perfect location right on the lake and close to so many wineries. Everything was well laid out and accommodated us all perfectly. I love that we all had our own bedrooms and bathrooms spread out throughout the house. The large windows that let you have a view of the lake no matter where you were in the house. Communication with the owner was also super quick and they were great at providing us with what we needed. I would highly recommend staying here for a relaxing trip to the finger lakes.

We spent 3 nights in this lakefront home. Four couples were very comfortable in this cozy & clean property. The host was very responsive when we had a minor plumbing issue & sent someone to fix it right away.

Keuka Lake Gem!

My family of 5 (kids aged 8, 12 and 14) and our family friends with kids similar ages had a blast at the house for 5 days! The house is in a convenient location close to Hammondsport and right on the lake. Additionally, the house is perfectly maintained and has all the amenities you will need. Vilma was an amazing host and made the whole check in/check out process easy. She is extremely responsive with any questions you may have. We highly recommend the property and would definitely return.

Fantastic trip with even better views

My group had the most amazing time staying here. The owner was incredibly responsive and the location was perfect for the places we were planning on visiting. The little town of Hammonsport is adorable and a great place to walk around. The views were impeccable and will certainly be missed. Highly recommend staying here for your Finger Lakes trip!

VRBO photos do no accurately reflect the condition of the property

Property owner was responsive, property was clean inside. Overall there is nothing on the property that has not been spray painted from tubs to ceiling fans. Air conditioning was sorely inadequate for the house size. Outside decks were not as pictured and we had to clean up to use fire pit, umbrella is not safe and could not be used, requires a higher grade stand, fell several times we just stopped using it. Cushions on lower deck are not for furniture, and don’t fit and not as pictured. All beds but one are not on frames and sit on floor. Rooms are pictured with one bed, in one case there were 3 squeezed in and a broken desk. Swing pictured unsafe to sit on repaired on bottom. Light in kitchen missing cover. Trash bin and several cabinets in kitchen are broken - not pictured. I had to sign an agreement of rental rules - that’s fine but I expected to stay at the house that was pictured - I took photos and can easily compare - what you expect is not what you get. Parking was not marked as stated in lease agreement and there was a porta potty sitting there. Bottom line the photos were staged not actual photos of current condition. I have tried to contact VRBO and will continue to. If I had paid 1/2 the amount I might have expected the conditions but not at the price I paid per night.

Lovely stay

We rented this property for a long weekend getaway as a group of friends and were absolutely blown away by the beautiful home! Everything was spotless upon arrival, and the views were outstanding. We made use of the many different outdoor spaces to relax. Our host Vilma was extremely responsive when I had questions morning-of about arrival, and made it clear she was available should anything come up during our stay. Would absolutely stay here again if we’re in the area! Thank you Vilma for sharing your beautiful home.

Perfect family getaway

Wonderful house & host!!

We had a wonderful stay at the cozy cozy cottage! The house is beautiful and has the most amazing views. A group of 5 of us spent a long weekend enjoying the lake, town, wineries and togetherness at the house. The host was amazing with communication throughout the entire booking process and stay! Vilma reacted extremely quickly where we had a need in the house and responded immediately anytime that I reached out. We loved the personal touches that made our stay welcoming and complete. I would highly recommend a getaway here and have already recommended this exact house to anyone looking for a relaxing lake getaway. Thank you Vilma for the wonderful hospitality! Hoping to come back soon!

Beautiful view

This property was a perfect getaway for my husband and I in between our race commitments at Watkins Glen. The town of Hammondsport is very quaint and had several good dining options. The house was directly on the water which was magical. The main bedroom though was on the side of the water, sunrise side with no drapes so if you are sensitive to the light and waking up early on your getaway, it may not be perfect for you. But the owners are planning on adding drapes! Overall we thought this was a nice property on the water and a great location to wineries and town.

Beautiful house and even outdoor living spaces!

This was our first trip to the Finger Lakes and we will be returning next summer! The living room and kitchen were spacious with storage areas for all of our supplies. The outdoor seating area and dock were perfect for our fisherman (sometimes out until 2 am looking for that perfect catch), docking our small boat, and watching the moon rising over the lake. Vilma responded quickly to questions before and after arrival. A great introduction to Lake Keuka!

Know Before You Go! Water Problems!!!

Our rental had fabulous views of Keuka Lake from its many windows/deck and was minutes from downtown Hammondsport. We enjoyed spending time on the dock, which had furniture and firepit to relax around. Two family members, that couldn't get into there houses yet, brought dogs our first night. One dog left later that night, while the 2nd, a service, dog stayed over and left early in AM. We were notified our first morning of eviction as the owner has cameras to watch the doors and the neighbors are always watching! The issue was resolved, we thought, after a phone call and we appreciated her understanding of the situation. However, at the end of the vacation she fined us $1000, despite saying to enjoy our vacation and that everything was alright days earlier. Early in our stay we had poor water pressure to the point of not being able to properly rinse in the shower, washing our hands and brushing our teeth with bottled water, and getting buckets of water from the lake to flush the toilets. A repair man was promptly sent who changed the filter...this only lasted a day or so when we again experienced water problems; repair man came again, changed the filter and indicated that the issue was most likely a problem in the line to the lake. In less than a day we had NO water and the repair man came for the third time. This time we were told we'd have no water for the remainder of our stay. We were offered a days refund if we could be out in 2-3 hours. This was not possible for us due to logistics and travel arrangements. Recent reviews also indicated water pressure problems - something that should have been fully addressed before our stay. The microwave died early into our stay. The repair man said, "when they go, they just go". We did not have use of that for the remainder stay, though this was only a slight inconvenience. The garbage disposal was a hazard as you had to plug and unplug it from a power strip under the sink to turn it on/off. AC not adequate. There is one main wall air conditioner in the common area which left many areas hot; except the master bedroom which had its own window air conditioner. All in all we enjoyed our stay - we spent time with family we haven't seen in a while and enjoyed the numerous things to do in the area. Things happen, however I feel like other than promptly sending a repair man our major inconvenience of not having sufficient water for most of our stay could have been more appropriately handled.

Perfect Getaway!!

Our trip to Keuka Lake at the Cozy Cozy Cottage was made wonderful due to the beautiful views and hospitality of the homeowner Vilma. The interior of the home compliments the gorgeous views of the lake, from wide Lakeview windows, a balcony, and direct lake access from a private dock. The owners are highly responsive and are more than willing to make sure your stay is perfect. With multiple bedrooms throughout the property, there’s more than enough room for everyone in the family. My family loved walking right out to the dock and jumping into the lake and fishing with their dad. Close to multiple vineyards, we enjoyed exploring everything Hammondsport has to offer without having to go far from the lake. We absolutely recommend the Cozy Cozy Cottage to anyone looking to trade a fast-paced lifestyle for true relaxation.

Reunion

My college roommates and I recently stayed at Cozy Cozy Cottage for a 25 year reunion. We immediately fell in love with the cottage. The views of the lake were spectacular and we were only a mile from town. The open floor plan and different outdoor seating areas easily accommodated the four of us. Vilma was very helpful and answered our questions both before and during our stay, with her husband coming to the house for a water pressure issue an hour after we called. The house has two air conditioners which were off when we arrived. Although it was rather warm at first, the living room air conditioner quickly cooled the main living areas. We hope to return next year.

Great family vacation!

We have been renting on Keuka for 8 years now. This year we tried something new down on the Hammondsport end of the lake. Cozy cozy cottage was beautiful. The views were great(especially the master bedroom). The lights on the dock were so pretty at night to sit by the fire. We stayed for 2 weeks and had everything we needed to feel at home. There are lots of steps but they are separated out to make it easier…it’s hard to find a place on the lake without lots of step. My elderly mother and 3 kids managed them all with no problem throughout the 2 weeks. The place is very close to Hammondsport to scoot down for ice cream or a nice dinner. Also the fishing was great off the dock. The kids had a contest going and I think the winner got 5 in one evening!!! The owner was very attentive and reached out to see if we needed anything else and willing to come stop by if needed. Also there was plenty of laundry detergent, trash bags, foil, dish soap, etc which it’s always nice not to have to pack those things or run to the store. We truly enjoyed our stay and family time on Keuka lake!
