You are going to love your stay at Coastal Hideaway! This ocean view beach home features its own private swimming pool and much more. This four bedrooms and two and a half bath home sits just feet away from the ocean on Vilano Beach.

The house is Two levels, 4 Bedrooms, and 2.5 bathrooms, with a maximum occupancy of 10. There are three queen beds, 1 daybed and a bunk bed. The bathrooms have a walk-in shower and a tub shower combo. There is a fully equipped kitchen, with a dining area and a breakfast bar.

The pet friendly Coastal Hideaway has everything to make you feel right at home during your vacation. Fresh linens, tiled floors, fully equipped kitchen, large HDTV Flat Panel TV, Wi-Fi, Washer and Dryer, Dish Washer and more.

A quick 100 steps to the beach! This quiet but hip area of Vilano/North Beach is popular for surfing, paddle boarding, surf fishing, shark teeth hunting and much more. There are many great restaurants within minutes that you can either walk, bike or drive to. Our comfortable home is a 10-minute drive to the fun & activity filled oldest town in America, St. Augustine! The Vilano Beach pier is a 5-minute car drive away where you will find a Publix Grocery Store and a mini outdoor mall. In the same area there is a local Post Office, Bait & Gear store, a boat rental facility and gas dock, a local pub and more restaurants near and on the Intercoastal beach. A 20-minute drive to the home of the PGA at TPC Sawgrass, and a 2-hour drive to Disney World.

Vilano Beach, which resides on Veterans Island, in St. Augustine is closer to the historic district than any other of the Saint Augustine beaches. It is only 10 minutes to the historic sights and the antique district. Spend your mornings on the beaches, and afternoons strolling along Saint George Street, downtown Saint Augustine.

Aside from the Historic District, Coastal Hideaway is in a good location for sports enthusiasts. Fishing, Boating, and all other sorts of water sports are just moments away. PGA golf courses in Ponte Vedra, which is just to the North. You can be at a Jacksonville Jaguars game within 40 minutes. Something for everyone at Coastal Hideaway!

Due to the Florida beach restoration project over the past year, beach access has varied (stairs, wall, to a sandy mound). Right now access is over the sand mound and easily accessible!

We have a legal easement (walk thru) between the pink and white houses pictured in the photos providing you that sought after a less populated access to Vilano beach!

If you prefer the stairs, public access is available 3 blocks down. We have a wagon at the house to help carry your beach necessities either way you choose to access!***

Positives: near the beach with easy access across the street. Close to town of St. Augustine, Publix Supermarket nearby. Kitchen supplies are adequate.Beach supplies for kids is excellent. Pool is sparkling clean.Needs attention: Very dangerous pulling out of the driveway onto fast busy road. Bushes need to be trimmed back for visibility. The sharp peeling shards of rust on the spiral staircase and door locks can be injurious. It's a blend of classy marble tiles and state of the art bathrooms, and entropy in regards to outside furniture and some property maintenance.

Seriously I have no complaints at all. Talking to Katelyn for the house code for check in , WiFi password. She answered any and all concerns. The house was clean and ready for us. We had 4 adults and 4 children at one time. There was plenty of beds and towels to go around. My son in law and daughter made a full seafood and steak dinner for us on New Yearā€™s Eve and the kitchen could handle it all as well as the large dining room table. The best part of the house was the widow peak. The view was awesome as well as the pictures I got of the sunrise! The pool was ready for the kids a little chilly but they enjoyed it. Maybe a pool heater would help? The property is lovely and the walk to the beach takes a couple of minutes. Being from the north my husband and I loved the beach days and didnā€™t want to leave. I would highly recommend this property, I give it a 10!

We had a great time with our family and looking forward to being able to visit again. Love being able to take our pets with us, they are part of the family and had a blast on the beach .Access to the beach is easy and being able to come back and having the privacy to relax and enjoy family time was priceless.

A wonderful home!

We loved our time here! The close access to the beach and the availability of the pool were our most favorite parts. The home was great! There were a few things we wished it had, particularly more seating and comfy blankets in the living room. There are a few kitchen items we noticed would be helpful! There wasnā€™t anything to bake in like a 9x9 or 9x13 or a pizza cutter! Awe of course managed without but they would be helpful! The home did have some dust accumulation but again, we managed just fine. We appreciated the sand and pool toys and the wagon to tote things to the beach! The chairs are ā€œwell lovedā€ but convenient to not have to bring ourselves. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to any families!

Loved the seclusion of the home. It felt very private but is was still close to both St. Augustine and Jacksonville Beach. Great for families. Easy beach access. Management was very responsive as well.

Paradise found

Had a beautiful family week in the privacy of this home. Plenty of room for everyone with 4 bedrooms and 2 & 1/2 baths. The kitchen was well equipped with plates, silverware, cooking utensils. There was a grill that was very clean. There was also a fire pit we used for roasting smores. The pool was amazing with bench seating in the water for sunbathing. The ocean was conveniently across the A1A, the dune had quite the slope for my elderly mom but we got her up and down carefully. The beach was super private. You honestly had to crawl up to the crows nest for an ocean view but there was one.

Relaxing Spring Break at Coastal Hideaway!

Loved the house! Spent most of our time time at property, pool, the beach, and nearby Vilano Beach. Enjoyed St. Augustine as well! The host was responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay. The walk to the beach was super easy. The pool was fantastic (cold but our kids didnā€™t mind). The upper roof deck was gorgeous for sunrises. The property could have been a tad bit cleaner and the TV in the bunk room did not have volume but we managed with tablets. Overall, the pros of the location, pool, and beach access outweigh any cons! We had a great stay.

Great spot on the island

Terrific location across from the beach and a mile or so from two fine casual dining options, well equiped, stairs a bit challenging. One floor living once you are in the house- Wonderfull! A bit noisy from the road during the day. Lovey pool, although the weather was too chilly during our stay to take advantage of it.

Exceeds expectations

First time to St. Augustine and this property was perfect. Beach right across the street, offset from road and surrounded by trees and shrubs gives great privacy. Close the stores and town. I loved the upstairs balcony. The stars were beautiful at night. Would definitely sty here again. We had a large party and everyone fit just fine.
