We had a wonderful time. Kitchen has great space to cook our thanksgiving feast. Front and back porch/deck were just perfect for my family to enjoy time together.

First time in St. Augustine

Perfect Choice

Everything about this house and location worked perfectly for us. Turn left quick walk to beach, turn right quick walk to river. The neighborhood was great to go for walks. I like to stay a nice places but feeling safe is my #1 priority, I didn’t think twice about going outside after dark in this neighborhood. We really enjoyed the Red Boat sunset ride to St Augustine and it’s the best way to see the holiday lights without the congestion and the hassle of searching for parking.

Wonderful vacation

This home was a great option for our Florida beach vacation as a family! It was equipped with all the necessities and there was plenty of room for everyone to claim their area. The home was very eloquently decorated and the kitchen was set up for cooking. Great option for a family trip to the beach. We will try to stay here again next year if it’s available.

Mike and Pam have and absolutely lovely home. They are incredibly hospitable, helpful and they have really done an amazing job at creating an absolutely amazing atmosphere suitable for really any kind of stay. The master bedroom and shower are a definite plus. You could have a romantic stay, as well as the layout is really perfect for families such as mine. They were gracious hosts and I guarantee you will be pleased if you rent this home.

Best spot and great property owners!!

The house is perfect. Beautifully decorated and it is a quiet spot a short walk to the beach. The beach is not crowded. It is a great place and the owners were great.

Thank you again Pam and Mike. Your home was delightful. The floor plan was both open and private. The large open living/kitchen area made it easy to enjoy everyone present. The separate master suite and large bathroom were amazing! What a great place to welcome in the New Year. Tom G

Beach house dreams

We enjoyed our stay in Vilano Beach. The house and property is beautifully maintained with high quality materials. My family stayed for the Christmas holiday and had a wonderful time. Everyone slept well and had plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to make family meals. We walked to the beach and took short drives to local restaurants and shops. Love the neighborhood and all St. Augustine has to offer. Would book this listing again for a group visit. Thank you!

Perfect holiday getaway

Everything about our stay - registration, check-in, accommodations - was top notch for our family of four + dog. The owners were beyond gracious and responsive. If anything, the photos of the property didn't do the space justice. The furnishings and decor were upscale, yet still "beachy." The backyard was one of our favorites, with so many plants, including citrus trees, to explore. The beach was a short walk away, close enough to hear the waves at times. My husband, a chef, noted how nice it was to have a selection of good pots and pans and knives, a rarity in many vacation rentals. The kitchen and dining setup was perfect to enjoy our Thanksgiving dinner together. Our family could not recommend this property, and owners, more. We look forward to a future stay.

Peaceful and quiet stay near beach

Lovely, clean home, with a 7 minute walk to beach. Large master bedroom was very relaxing and living area was comfortable. Overall pleasant stay.

Perfect home base for the beach

Pam and Mike's property was the perfect home base for our long weekend getaway for 4 adults and a 16-month old. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous, beautifully decorated and well appointed - they've thought of every last detail, from a makeup mirror, to chip clips, to insulated mugs, and a beach wagon - and more! The beds were comfy and there was plenty of space for all of us to spread out. The house is a few blocks away from the beach, but with a wagon to haul our stuff, it was still an easy trek, even with the toddler (just be mindful and careful crossing the street!). The host, Mike, was very responsive in looking into what we thought was an issue with the refrigerator when we first arrived, but turned out to just be a glitch in its computer. Would love to stay again in the future for another group trip. :)

Perfect Beach House!

This house is truly wonderful! Very quick walk to a beautiful beach, lots of space to visit, close to Saint Augustine for activities, a boat ride out of the harbor, perfect long beach walks at sunrise and sunset- this was a really sweet stay, I’ll be back!

Summer Vacay

We had a great experience!!! We had 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 2-5) and had plenty of space to move about and play. The outside is fenced in, so we felt great about our toddlers evening being outside without an adult. The kitchen was fantastic - plenty of cooking space and supplies. Rooms were great and beds were comfy. They supplied with PLENTY of towels for showering as well as beach. Theres fun beach toys and a beach wagon in the garage. The 2 block walk to the beach was doable, even with carrying two kids. Crossing A1A can be annoying but not bad. We kept moving about the home going "this is so great" and "next time when we come to this house..." They really thought of everything

Wonderful house/experience

This house is a wonderful place to stay for your trip at the beach! The house is comfy and clean! And just a short walk to the beach! The outside shower is great to wash off all the sand and the fenced in backyard was great for our dogs! The owner Mike went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed! And if we had he questions he responded within minutes! We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Great House

The house is spectacular!! From the furnishings, the kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom are wonderful!! This is a house that one could live in for a long time!! It has all the creature comforts one could ask for. Very convenient location to everything you could want to do. If I went back to St. Augustine, I would rent this house again in a minute!! Trust me when I say, you cannot go wrong renting this house!!

Our Time in Vilano

My wife and I travel frequently and have often been disappointed with the homes as presented on VRBO versus the homes as they are. This is not that. This home lives up to the billing. It is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. I traded emails with the owner, Mike, saying we love to cook, and he told us we would be happy with the kitchen. So many VRBO homes have good bones and lousy kitchens – flimsy pots and pans, dull knives, and poorly calibrated ovens. This home has excellent pots, pans, utensils, and a great cooktop and oven. We cooked most nights because the access to good provisions in St. Augustine is amazing (Chop Shop, Kyle’s Seafood, Farmers Market, etc.). I told the owner that the coffee maker wasn’t great (a Betty Crocker relic from the Smithsonian), and he told us to buy a new one (and reimbursed us for it). So, yeah, if you want a comfortable home to live in for a while, this is it. Other notes: two blocks from the beach. Bikes, beach chairs, boogie boards, nice deck and patio furniture – the works. Lovely neighborhood. Everyone has a dog! One note: the house is adjacent to three rental properties. In our time there, we only had two issues where we had to remind guests of the weekday curfew. Most people who come to Vilano are respectful tenants. It’s not a Daytona crowd (not that there’s anything wrong with Daytona, it’s just that I’m a little aged out of that scene). My wife and I would recommend this property to all.

Exceeded Our Expectations!

This was a Christmas golf trip for our family of four. This place definitely had the wow factor for our boys (17 & 20) the moment we opened the front door! The owners really did think of everything for this home away from home, from candles by the soaking tub to wireless chargers throughout! Close enough to enjoy Saint Augustine and great golf courses, but even better because we could walk our Boston Terrier to the beach every day and retire in a quiet neighborhood at night. Some of our favorite places to eat were Osprey Tacos, Brisky’s BBQ, Poppy’s Italians, O’Steen’s, and Lobstah on a Roll. If you’re on the fence about properties near Saint Augustine, this is your sign - book it!😁

Christmas at the Beach

The house was amazing. Plenty of room for my three adult children and son-in-law. There is a dining table that did not show in house photos. Very nice surprise as I transported a folding table not needed. The owner communicated with me by phone to make sure everything was to our expectations. There is a nice glider chair for two on the front porch. Very nicely decorated and ample closet space. I hope to stay again in the future.

Great family stay

We had an excellent stay. A comfortable, spacious home with lots of community space. A short walk to the beach. A kitchen that is well above average for a holiday or family celebration meal. Great master suite. Highly recommend.

Amazing Property, Great Location, Wonderful

This property is everything advertised and then some! The place is even better in person than on the photos. The quality of this home is spectacular, the location is a extremely close to the beach and only 2 miles from downtown. The neighborhood is quiet and everyone very friendly. There are so many places to visit and the history of St. Augustine is interesting to explore. The hosts are very responsive and have clearly worked hard and succeeded in providing a wonderful experience. They have two new E-bikes you can rent for a nominal fee as a fun golf cart you can also lease that is street legal. We had a blast using it not only in the neighborhood and all the way downtown. We'll be back soon!

Great location & overall great property

Super clean and well equipped with all of what you need, you can tell the owners take pride in the rental. Location was perfect, easy to get to everything and being so close to the beach with little kids was extremely handy.

Location location location

What a spectacular home and just steps away from the beach. The beach is pet friendly and tons of shells if you like collecting and very few people. The sunrises are amazing. The house is wonderful and of higher quality. The kitchen is a dream kitchen, nice open floor plan and great back yard to hang out in. There is a nice fenced in yard for kids or pets to play in. Access to and from downtown St. Augustine is a breeze an always a wonderful attraction with great restaurants. Don’t miss out! We’ll be back soon.
