Bienvenidos a Casa Vista Azul, located in Balcones de Loma Linda, Mazatlán, Mexico. Come unwind at our tranquil home overlooking the beautiful, blue waters where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez. Our 4000 Sq ft, 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath condo boasting stunning views, sleeps ten comfortably. The spacious bedrooms are equipped with en-suites, mini-splits, and smart TVs. The open concept footprint and massive kitchen is perfect for entertaining. Take in the spectacular sunsets on the oversized terrace, enjoy a cocktail at our custom bar, Cantina Agave Azul, then head out for an evening on the town. We are half a block away from the Malecon by El Clavadista (the cliff diver), and a short walk to Olas Altas and Plaza Machado (Centro). During the day, relax at the pool or head to the nearby beaches. Both Los Pinitos and Olas Altas beaches are within walking distance. For your safety and comfort, our home is equipped with an enhanced, UV treated, full house water purification system, so ice and drinking water is safe, clean and readily available. Want something extra? We can customize your experience for an additional charge. Pre-arrival shopping, airport transportation, private dining with a personal chef, sailing charters, spa services and city tours are just some examples of how you can enhance your stay at Casa Vista Azul. Dogs are welcome on a case by case basis so you can bring your best friend to paradise! We know you'll love our home as much as we do.

Amazing place to stay

This is the perfect place to stay In Mazatlan. The location is perfect, close walking distance to restaurants, the beach and many cool attractions. The hosts are incredibly helpful and very responsive. The place has a lost of space and an amazing view. If we ever come back I will definitely stay here.

Perfect home

The house is located in the middle of everything short distance to beach and malecón. The house has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Sheryl was such a great host very attentive to our needs. The pool was beautiful and the views were everything. Our family had a great time

Great house and great location

Beautiful house overlooking the ocean. Great layout for various couples or family. Kitchen is well stocked and information on local goods and services is handy and available. It is on a hill but nothing too crazy. Very close to the beach and things to see in walking distance. The pool is fabulous and a great place to relax and enjoy the amazing views. Highly recommend this one.

Perfect in every way!

We absolutely loved staying at Casa Vista Azul. Sheryl and Frank understand the meaning of gracious hospitality, creating a beautiful and comfortable space where we made treasured vacation memories. We enjoyed the pool and the location was perfect for exploring Centro and the Malecon. Both Sheryl and Frank were quick to provide suggestions, and quick with support us when we had an issue with a vent. We would love to stay here again when we return to Mazatlan.

Amazing location & views!

Amazing place with great views. Clean and spacious. Big but cozy. Mexican tiles & paintings throughout the house make this place extra charming. Fully stocked kicthen. Lots of high quality towels. Sheryl, Frank & Alejandro took care of every detail & question we had. We will stay there again without a doubt!

Wonderful Experience

Our stay at Casa Vista Azul was such a wonderful experience. We enjoyed the layout of the home and loved the decor! The views to the beach are totally amazing. We will definitely miss our stay in Mazatlan! My family and myself have nothing but great things to say about Casa Vista Azul. We will definitely book again at this home for a future date. What a great Mazatlan Trip!

This is a great property. The layout was ideal for our adult family of 6 with its 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath set up. The bedrooms in the back afford guests privacy and quiet, while the open floor plan in the living areas are great for gathering. Th sunset view from the covered patio is especially amazing. The location is also perfect, an easy walk to the Malecon, but just far enough away and high enough that you are insulted from the noise associated with it. Sheryl and Frank were great hosts and responded immediately to every question we had before and during our stay. I look forward to going back!

A Dream Getaway

Our family of 4 took a dream getaway to Mazatlán, which was the last place my husband stayed at as a child. The memories we made together will forever be with us. We got to visit the places he went to has a child and it really gave all of us such overwhelming emotions. Staying at Casa Vista Azul added to our amazing experience. Such a beautiful home with breathtaking views! Everything was at walking distance which was super convenient. Sheryl, Frank and Elise were amazing hosts, always available. We can’t wait to go back soon.

Absolutely Spectacular

This is without a doubt the best place in Mazatlan. I challenge anyone to find a more stylish and comfortable well equipped property. This is beyond a 5star place. Frank and Sheryl have thought of everything anyone could ever need. It is refreshing to see! From every kind of dish, to glasses, to spices, rice cookers, blenders, ziplock bags, Tupperware, a fully loaded bar to laundry the list goes on………The show stopper definitely is the views, they are to die for. The pool was also fantastic. We went with our 2 kids and they had the time of their lives. There was so much comfortable space that we didn’t see the kids for hours. Truly an amazing place, thanks for having us. The Woitalla family

Stunning house! An experience like none other.

After being restricted for so long, our family was eager to spend some time at the beach. We chose an exotic location in Mazatlan but it did not dissapoint nor did this house. It is hard to put into words the beauty of Casa Azul. I will never forget the moment we crested the final hill and gazed upon the majestic blue waters of the Pacific. We were greeted very kindly by Elise, the property Manager, who got us well oriented. This house is simply stunning inside and out. From the porch view, the elegant decor, the pool overlooking the ocean, it just takes your breath away. I can attest that the accommodations more than live up to the video and pictures on the site. I have traveled quite a bit over the years and have never ever stayed in such an exquisite home. It is truly unique. Thank you so much Cheryl and Frank for sharing your amazing home with us. 5 days was not enough :-)

Stunning views! Fabulous location!!

My family and I were in a Mazatlan to attend my son’s wedding. We had a total of 6 people staying there. The place accommodated us very well. This is a lovely home with stunning views and a great location. The decor is wonderful. A very spacious place with lots of patios - beautiful views of the ocean. It’s a short walk to the main road close to restaurants, bars, the beach, and shopping. There is everything you might need in this home away from home. The kitchen is well organized and a beautiful entertaining open area with amazing vistas. Very well stocked. The pool was very nice. There is a beautiful private patio off the master bedroom that we enjoyed. All the baths were lovely with walk in showers. Washer and dryer, ironing board and iron. The beds were very comfortable. Nice linens. The only thing I might suggest is that a better doorbell system be installed. Something louder. It is hard to hear from the second story. Another issue for some may be the number of steps you have to walk up to get to the front door. About a flight and a half. There are a couple levels of just a few steps in the interior as well where the bedrooms are accessed. This was not an issue for us, but it could be for some. The property manager met us upon our arrival and explained everything very well. We also met our hostess who was very gracious and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this luxurious place. Casa Vista Azul is a true gem.

Stunning house with breathtaking views!

This is by far one of the best houses we’ve stayed in Mazatlan. Location is perfect with a quick walk to Olas Altas. Fully stocked kitchen to enjoy breakfast with stunning views of the ocean. My daughter enjoyed the swing in the back terrace. Very relaxing! Frank & Sheryl did an amazing job with the house renovations. The check in was a breeze and Elise met us on site and briefed us on the house. The landlords were always available for any questions…..We truly enjoyed our stay and was very relaxing….much needed break from the hustle and bustle back home. We can’t wait to return and enjoy your beautiful house. Thank you Frank & Sheryl!

This property was beautiful and amazing. Will definitely be staying here next year. Huge home, clean and cozy. This home is walking distance to many shops restaurants and bars in town. All I can say that I highly recommend this home, you will love it like I did and will start planning your future visits without a doubt. Beautiful home

This house is amazing! Everything about it was perfect! Starting with the location. It’s perfect enough to walk to the malecón but far enough from the busy scene! The view was beautiful! Catching sunset by the pool was our favorite thing! The beds were very comfy made it hard to get up from bed! My niece (4years old) did not want to come back home lol. She said she wanted to live there. Checking in was super easy as well as checking out. Communication with frank, Sheryl & Elise was so simple. They are Great host! We will definitely come back again. And totally recommend Anyone to stay here .

Beautiful place for family getaway

This house was nothing short of spectacular. Spacious, and comfortable, big open living room(s) and kitchen area. Beautiful deck with a view of the sunset, nice patio area for lounging. We loved the bar set up and enjoyed hanging by the pool everyday! The location is perfect, walking distance of the beach and restaurants and bars. But not too close to hear the night life. Amenities were 10/10 they had everything we needed and more! The house manager Elise was very helpful and friendly… we will definitly be planning more trips to Mazatlan and would stay here again no doubt!

Our first trip to Mexico was to Puerto Vallarta in 2009. We fell in love with Mexico immediately. Ever since then, we've traveled several times a year to different parts of Mexico, including both coasts and the highlands in search of our forever home when we retire. In 2019 we finally visited Mazatlán; and we were hooked. We found what would become Casa Vista Azul online six months prior to our visit. When we walked in the door the first time, we felt like we were home. After an arduous, COVID induced ten month process, this home on the hill was finally ours. We currently reside in the US, New Jersey to be exact, with our 3 little long haired dachshunds. Getting all of us to Mazatlán a few times a year is a priority, but thankfully we have an amazing property manager and staff to take care of Casa Vista Azul while we’re away, and keep it in perfect shape for those who visit.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

Mazatlán has many different neighborhoods; each with its own unique vibe. We were looking for a place with a spectacular view, great walkability, easy ocean access, and close to restaurants and shops. Centro ticked all those boxes and then some! The colonial architecture in Centro Historico is magnificent, especially at night. It is the cultural hub of Mazatlán, always with something to offer. Art walks, live music, artisan vendors, art galleries, outdoor performances, fine dining, the Angela Peralta Theater, and Plaza Machado are a short walk away. Casa Vista Azul sits at the foot of Ice Box Hill. From our terrace, you get a beautiful view of the skyline of the Golden Zone to La Clavadista (Cliff Diver). The Malecon is a mere 500 feet away and abuzz with activity, being the starting point of Olas Altas. Along your walk you'll find a variety of street vendors, food trucks, restaurants, convenience stores, coffee shops, and Olas Altas Beach, home of La Carpa Olivera, a public saltwater swimming pool. While all of this is at our doorstep, we are just up the hill enough to take in the breathtaking views and relax with some peace and quiet.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

When we purchased this home, we saw the potential but knew we had our work cut out for us. We immediately began an extensive renovation project. We wanted to stay true to the mid-century modern architecture of the home while infusing traditional Mexican elements. We found a local carpenter who used our ideas to build several custom pieces in the home. The first thing you'll notice is the beautiful slat wall defining the Loft. The slats are angled in such a way as to enclose the room while still enjoying the ocean view. He also designed and built the custom bar, all three bathroom vanities, painted the kitchen island, and refurbished the antique dining table; which is original to the home and has hosted dinners with John Wayne. Inspired by the colonial architectural features of haciendas in Mexico, we incorporated Talavera and traditional patterned floor tiles throughout the home. Every part of this property has been renovated. From lighting to floors, paint, air conditioning, bathrooms, furnishings and bedding, outdoor spaces and garden, everything has been transformed. Casa Vista Azul is a tribute to our love of Mexico. We hope you love it as much as we do.
