We invite you to come and stay in this custom built, oceanfront home and at one of the best surf spots in the world! Sit and watch the surfers or participate in catching world class waves. Watch the sunset right from the back patio or your bedroom and feel the warmth of the sun and the ocean breezes. Play a game of pool. Take a morning or afternoon walk on our almost deserted beach and get in touch with nature. Let your senses unlock and escape your hectic life. Experience Costa Rica and you will not want to leave.

The house is all natural with stone, slate, and granite throughout. Stained glass windows and Costa Rican art are seen throughout the house. The furniture was custom built for the home by local artisans. All new window and doors were installed in 2015.

There is nothing quite like opening your glass sliding doors and walking right onto the beach. This unique house is unlike any house you've ever seen.

Feel the ocean breezes come through the house. With the new windows and screens, the house stays well ventilated.

There two bedrooms with en suite baths on the first floor facing the mountainside. There are 5 bedrooms on the second floor 3 are facing the mountainside, one with en suite bath.

The upstairs master bedroom and a large second master bunkroom are oceanfronts on the second floor. Wake up and look out of the window and see the ocean. Instant surf report!

The 30-meter long community pool is beach side and only 3 houses down from our house. Enjoy a fish taco and a drink at Yoyo's pool bar. You will want to spend your day there!

We are happy to set you up on activities such as zip line, ATV's, horseback riding, fishing, white water rafting, hiking, surf lessons and so much more.

We will get you oriented with a list of restaurants, grocery stores, transportation or whatever you may need.

Perfect location

This property was perfect for our family spring break trip. We had eleven people staying in this home. This home would accommodate many more. The location directly on the beach was wonderful. The older folks enjoyed watching the surfing right in front of the home. The younger ones enjoyed the boogie boards. The pool access 3 doors down was perfect...with its great food and drinks !!! Enjoyed watching the Macaws every afternoon at the pool.

Amazing Stay in Playa Hermosa

The house was just as pictured. plenty of space for three families. The view and steps to the beach is unbelievable. Roberto was a fantastic property manger and helped us arrange for a private chef. YoYo's had fantastic food. Highly recommend staying here, would come back! thank you.

We came with a group of 10 and had an awesome weekend Roberto and Tim were super easy to communicate with and provided all the recs we needed. They helped setup chefs, drivers and even food delivery. The pool bar was great and felt private as well as the beach. Highly recommend!

Great Location, Great Manager

We had a wonderful time. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen is well equipped. Recommend some plastic cups and an ice chest. Tim, the manager, was so personable and AVAILABLE anytime you needed him. Found us a guy who would deliver anything to the house. We used him several times. All of my guests, and I had 13 of them were so impressed with the house. The maid comes in every morning. Takes care of laundry and any dirty dishes. THAT made it a true vacation. I also recommend the Chef that Tim recommended. And the use of the pool and YoYo restaurant, which is 2 houses down. Reasonable rates on drinks and food. If I ever come back, this is the house I will rent. Location to JACO and other places make it a great place. Gated community, you feel extremely safe. Worth every penny.

We are family of 10 And we had more than enough space for truly remarkable vacation. I especially enjoyed walking out the backyard and the Pacific Ocean was at my feet. Worth Waiting For

Tim, Roberto and Maria were very available and helpful. The home was comfortable for all sixteen of us. We had a great time at a great place! The property has access to a nice pool with a very good restaurant. The surfers were exciting to watch right from our patio. It was a fabulous experience.

We stayed mid-February 2025 and I must say it was everything we hoped for and more.To begin, the pictures donā€™t do the home or property justice. The house was absolutely incredible with decor providing a super authentic Costa Rican feel. Everything was as advertised and more, super clean with the daily house keeping service a wonderful bonus. Hermosa Palms provided a gorgeous and safe neighborhood for us to focus only on relaxing and having fun with zero worries of family safety.The property manager Roberto immediately made us feel at home and was available every step of the way with any questions, concerns or recommendations. Also the community pool area was an awesome break from the ocean with Yoyos bar providing top notch refreshments and food.Being 15min south of Jaco made it easy for plenty of options for dining out every night. The houseā€™s location was perfect for any other excursions and adventures we were interested in such as Tortuga Islamd, Monkey Mangrove, and Jungle Waterfalls.This was the dream vacation for our family

Beautiful home in an amazing location!

Had an amazing experience in this Hermosa palms home. Celebrated a birthday with friends from all over the United States and it was the perfect place. The views are incredible and you also have access to the pool a few houses down which has a swim up bar with great food and drinks. There is ample room in the house for big parties. Highly recommend! The owner and property manager were both extremely helpful and communicative. Would love to come back. Thanks for everything!

Family Vacay

The house worked great for our family reunion of 12. Plenty of rooms for us to spread out in. The property manager, Roberto was great to communicate with and gave recommendations including an excellent chef to come to the house for a special Anniversary dinner for my husband and I to enjoy with our family and also for a few in our group to take a horseback ride with the horses brought right to the community gates! Maria was just amazing taking care of the house, even doing laundry everyday such a plus and very appreciated!! The kitchen could use update of cooking supplies and having enough tableware for a large group, but other than that really great house and would recommend for large group staying in the area!

Had such an amazing week at this beautiful resort like home. It was exactly as described in bio and pics. Property surrounding is clean. Safe. And everyone was super friendly. Yo-yo mā€™s pool bar was amazing. Friendly. And very reasonable priced! Service was spot on! Tim and Roberto were fantastic hosts. Attending to alllll my questions quickly and with out leaving me needing more. Canā€™t wait to come back! Went for my husbands 60th with our 4 grown kids, spouses and two grandchildren. House was more than able to accommodate all of us. Daiky housekeeper is an added bonus.

Listen let me start by saying Wow this was one of my best trips ever . I celebrated my husband 40th private dinner at the house . Robert connect me with a great team to work with . Private chef ,event decor, DJ , bartender , makeup artist , etc . I could write a book about my Costa Rica trip . Tim and Robert are the best . Absolutely The Best!!!

We have stayed in this area once before and this place is even better than the last place. Security guards checking in at various points across the complex 24 hours a day. Great air conditioning. In every room. We will absolutely be coming back again. Roberto has great access to all of the amazing things to do. From activities to chefs. A truly unexpected bonus was the maid. She cleans all the dishes and does laundry everyday. I only wish I would have ordered my covid test online it would have saved a lot of money also make sure you keep extra cash to tip the maid and Roberto at the end. We rented a car at the airport through Avis it was very quick pick up and drop off. AVIS will charge you extra for insurance $26 a day OR $32 for full coverage.

Gorgeous house right on the beach

This house was beautiful. Lots of room to spread out, kids loved the pool table and games. The beach was right outside, and the pool in the neighborhood was fantastic, and only three doors down walking along the beach. There was a cute beach bar there where we had a few meals and lots of drinks. A couple notes, the beach is not swim mobile. This is for hard-core professional surfers only. The waves were gigantic. We enjoyed looking at it from the safety of the pool. If you are a hard-core surfer, this is a dream house. Also, not too many restaurants very close by. We did find a few places to deliver from Jaco. there was also a little noise from the construction going on on the house next-door, but thatā€™s temporary. this is a quiet and very safe neighborhood. Overall, we found it to be very nice. Thanks for hosting us! We had a great time.

It felt like a dream!

Words canā€™t describe how amazing our stay was! My husband and I came to Costa Rica for our honeymoon and we always wanted to take our kids back one day and this time was better than the last if that is even possible. There were 9 of us, we traveled with our family and another family and there was more than enough room and so much to do. To start Tim and Roberto are absolutely wonderful! The house was immaculate and Tim was so communicative throughout the whole process. Roberto was extremely accommodating and helped us plan everything and treated us like we were part of the community. We are still dreaming about swimming up to Yoyoā€™s pool bar for fish tacos, mojitos and pina coladas. We felt so safe and we were close enough to town and explore when we wanted to, but secluded enough from the touristy parts. The sunsets are ones you dream of. The neighbors treated us like family and made sure to let us know when it was a good time to swim in the ocean. This trip was a trip of a lifetime we canā€™t say enough and I could go on forever. We went on so many excursions and we were in an hours distance from Manuel Antonio. If you are looking for a true experience of culture, beaches and adventure I highly recommend staying here. We didnā€™t want to leave and we will absolutely be back!

Extraordinary, private, peaceful and friendly gated community

The house was better than described. Everyone had the same reaction when walking through the front door. Wow! You can see the ocean waves clearly through the glass back doors. Beds were comfy. Cleaning service was so efficient and helpful. Roberto the manager was so insightful and easy to get a hold of. He helped us with making excursions happen and hiring a chef for a family meal. It was like having a concierge nearby. YoYo's poolside bar was a great part of the stay. We could walk over and buy coffee from the little coffee shop or have lunch or dinner with cocktails just steps away from the house. It was difficult to get Uber drivers to come to this community but the taxi service was available however somewhat more costly than the ubers. House is about 15 minutes from Jaco restaurants and shopping. Some of us got surf lessons from Jeffrey, a contact of Roberto's and meeting him was truly a highlight of this wedding trip. Truly a beautiful soul and a great teacher. He picked us up and dropped us off after each lesson. We highly recommend staying in Hermosa Palms. This house is truly a treat! Thank you Roberto, Maria, Chef Dennis and Tim for making our stay so wonderful!

Wonderful house

We had a great stay to celebrate my husbandā€™s 40th birthday. We stayed for 9 nights and had a total of 13 people, but not all of them were there at the same time. House is definitely big enough for a lot of people. Roberto was very accommodating with my baby requests, and was always very easy to get ahold of while we were there. Maria (housekeeper) is very sweet and was there almost every day. Community and pool was awesome. Felt very safe. The beach bar has great food and service. The ocean by the house is no joke, so if youā€™re not a very experienced surfer youā€™ll probably not be able to get in. We were a little surprised the kitchen did not have anything, besides a small salt shaker. So we literally had to buy everything, then throw out everything we hadnā€™t consumed. Also, there is no dishwasher. I knowā€¦first world problems haha! It wasnā€™t a big deal, as we had services from Chef Pablo for a few meals, and we bought disposable plates/cups. My kids enjoyed hanging out with the cats who were always by house, and the other wildlife. We saw frogs, iguanas, squirrels, a bat, and lots od bugs.

Group of 15- Amazing Experience!

This was our 1st time in Costa Rica, a group of 15 men/woman ages 24- 35, and it couldnā€™t have been a better vacation. From start to finish, I cannot express enough how amazing this house was, the pictures do not do it justice. Everyone had their own bed/space, the bottom floor had enough room for everyone to hang out as well. Roberto was incredibly helpful throughout the process. He provided us with transportation with Eddy Transport, who showed up on time every time we needed him. We had Chef Denis, and Mel come to the house a couple of nights for dinner, and the food was amazing. I'd recommend going with the surf/turf or the pineapple chicken! We were celebrating a 30th bday and he went out of his way to get us a birthday cake and candles. Maria who came every morning and cleaned the house was super friendly and extremely helpful. Roberto scheduled different tours for us so we didnā€™t have to worry about anything. The ocean right out your backdoor was something out of a movie. Almost every night we watched the sunset and surfer surf right in front of us. Some of the girls had massages on the 2nd balcony while listening to the ocean in the background. About 25 steps away from the house, we had the pool which was very big and spent some hours in the pool. There is a bar at the pool where we were able to get drinks as well, the restaurant at the pool was closed due to renovation but we still enjoyed the pool area. If you are looking to stay here, I would highly recommend this.
