This cottage is in a great location - walkable to restaurants and the beach! The bed and couch were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything that you could need. It's a very happy little place!

We had an amazing time at the Happy Shack! It was just perfect for me and my daughter. It’s in a perfect spot and walkable to so many places.

Fabulous beach getaway!

This was an awesome location... we walked everywhere. The Happy Shack was clean and comfy and had everything we needed. Bikes, beach gear, tiki bar!!! We loved it. We’ ll be back!!

Great little place

We had a great time. The cottage is less than a block from the beach . A few beachside bars and restaurants were well used. The beach was beautiful and entertaining with nice clear water and pretty sunsets. Treasure island is definitely worth a visit and this house is ideal. We even saw a merman.

Terrific!

The Happy Shack was perfect for us (couple and our 7-year-old daughter) for a week stay. We loved the two-minute walk to the beach. Natalie and Eric are great hosts and responded quickly to our questions. The Happy Shack was clean and comfortable and made our stay in the area that much better. Thank you, Natalie and Eric, for a great vacation!

Lovely getaway at the Happy Shack

We loved our stay at the Happy Shack. The home is well stocked (especially with beach gear!!) and the owners even purchased us a pack and play to use for our baby. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space, so we had a place to hang out after our daughter went to bed. This place is ideal for a couple or family with small children. It is about a 3 minute walk to the beach, but far enough away to be out of the chaos.

Adorable and close to the beach

We had a wonderful time at this cute little beach bungalow. The retro vibe was very fun. The location was perfect, just a short, like maybe 100 steps to the beach. The owner provided bikes for us to ride and a paddleboard. We did not brave the paddleboard, but we did take full advantage of the bikes and had a lot of fun riding around the neighborhood to harbors and canals nearby. The tiki hut patio is really nice, with games to play and a bbq. The rooftop deck was nice, with a nice gas fireplace to enjoy on a cool evening. There was one bathroom in the actual house, but it is nice that they have created another tv area in the garage with additional half bath area. This was handy to have. Overall a great experience.

Great location! Quiet neighborhood and only a block to the beach where you’ll find the action, if you’re looking for it; a couple good places for cocktails and food right on the beach and others within walking/biking distance or a very short drive. We rode bikes everywhere. So much to do in the surrounding St. Pete/Clearwater areas, as well as Tarpon Springs and more. Natalie and Eric have created an adorable place with a fun vibe everywhere you look! Sunset Beach is beautiful and the sunsets are stunning. The neighbors are great and we appreciated their quiet, laid back lifestyle. We fit right in! We will be back next year. Thanks Natalie and Eric, for sharing this your Happy Shack gem with us!

Happy week at the Happy Shack!

This cute place is close to the beach. (you can walk.). They have great beach supplies, the tiki bar is fun and the roof top deck is relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet Food and groceries are close by, too!

Great beachside escape

This was the perfect place for my family and I to stay. I was traveling with my husband and two children (7 and 4). The house was clean and there was a ton of amenities included. My kids loved the playroom. I enjoyed the outdoor area. It was just a block away from the beach and had two beach bars/restaurants nearby. The hosts thought of every possible to detail to make their guests as comfortable as possible. They respond quickly to any and all questions.

Natalie and Eric are great hosts! Super accommodating and such a cute place! We enjoyed the beach, local restaurants, bike rides and the outdoor tiki bar!

Perfect vacation rental!

This place was well beyond my expectations. The house itself had more to offer than we could even imagine (it felt like I was at my house). The walk to the beach was so short and sweet! The owners were available when we had questions and were more than happy to make sure we were taken care of. I would recommend this place to EVERYONE I KNOW!!!

THE cutest place we’ve ever stayed!!

Absolutely the most relaxing vacation ever! The owners have literally thought of everything you would possibly need! The neighborhood was so very quiet and everybody we met, from local fishermen to local homeowners, were so very nice! We felt safe and at home through our entire stay. The pictures online don’t even do it justice. From the amazingly thought out decor and extras to the beach being so close, we cannot wait to come back!

Wonderful beach house

The hosts were wonderful and easy to get ahold of from the minute I booked and all throughout our stay and quickly responded to any question I had no matter how small. Everything we needed was there and I loved all of the LED lights on the patio lighting up our night! Pictures are spot on of the place but the amount of beach accessories and extras is above and beyond! My kids were mesmerized by all of the “vintage” toys. We sat on the patio and played some of the games on days we just wanted to relax. We took the paddle board out one day and used the wagon to tote the chairs and umbrellas and cooler to the beach. My husband loved riding the bike provided and we all loved to walk to Caddy’s for dinner and (drinks for mommy and daddy). Would definitely recommend this place for a family our size (2 parents and 2 kids) or for a couple or even 2 couples!

Happy Times at the Happy Shack

We stayed for close to a week using this darling little cottage as home base as we discovered the St. Petersburg area. We needed all of that time just to discover all of the unique and fun touches the owners's lovingly put into this home. It is full of colorful and fun decor -- I dare you not to smile! It was clean and comfortable and the location (literally steps to the beach and libations) could not possibly be better. We loved it!

Fabulous property and owners. Everything detail was thought out. Quaint, convenient accommodations, super organized owners. Can only say great things and will stay again!
