We had a great stay at the cottage during Thanksgiving! Everything you would need to use for cooking is accessable in the kitchen, with plenty of room to prep and serve. The kitchen island was especially handy for serving and drinks while enjoying the best view possible of the inlet waterway! Property is beautiful and spacious with a great seaside hammock in the trees to enjoy as well.

The cottage is an excellent way to spend a peaceful view of Bogue Sound. Plenty of space to spread out throughout the house and still have amazing views of sound. Close to grocery store and several eating facilities, shopping and just simply enjoying the Newport area.

Just completed a two-week stay at this quiet, clean, and relaxing property. Most exceptional was the availability of our host whenever a question was raised. A great location with the shopping and dining in Morehead City and Atlantic Beach just a few minutes away. Certainly a great property for just getting away and having some quiet time and enjoying nature. Certainly worthy of a return trip.

Our third visit to the cottage, we love it there! Has everything we need and close to everything we like to do. Grandson was delighted to catch shrimp right off the dock!! Beautiful sunsets, very friendly and accommodating hosts. Thx for having us!!

Lovely cottage on the water. The large yard was perfect for our dogs. Just be aware there isn’t a fence between this property and the neighbor who has 3 dogs with an electric fence. I recommend an e collar if you let your dogs off leash. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The living room was perfect for winding down at the end of the day.

Great Location

Quiet neighborhood, beautiful view of Bogue Sound. Pier is great, enjoyed watching beautiful sunsets. Next time we’ll bring our paddle boards! Cottage is quaint and comfortable. Owner is very responsive. Drive to Atlantic Beach and Emerald Isle is very easy. We look forward to returning.

Great house at a perfect location

A perfect house located in the perfect place. Nice and quiet area to get away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas all around, but still close enough to everything for very easy, short drives. The host was excellent and easy to get in contact with for any questions. If we're back in the area, this place will definitely be the place we choose to stay.

Wonderful view/location

We had such a wonderful time at the cottage. The property was exactly as described. The yard was great for our dog and the views were incredible. We even caught a couple fish. We will be back!

We had such a wonderful stay here! The hosts were incredibly communicative and helpful, which made everything smooth from start to finish. The neighborhood itself is beautiful and peaceful, and we loved being able to walk to the corner store, Waves. The employees there were so kind, and their breakfast was delicious — it quickly became part of our routine.Every day we watched both the sunrise and sunset, and some of our best memories were made right on the dock. We fished, relaxed, and honestly spent more time there than we did at the beach. This is a simple, quiet place — the perfect spot to slow down, enjoy the water, and take in the beauty around you. We’re grateful for our time here and would love to return!

This old school cottage fit our needs well! Great for the dogs, access to different areas and communication with Sarah was great. Washer and dryer with dogs would be helpful but not a game changer! Would stay again!

We find joy in sharing the experience of creating lasting memories with other families. From sunrise to sunset, the echoes of laughter and shared moments are what make this place truly special. It's not just a house; it's a home that carries the legacy of love passed down through generations.

When the house is not rented, we share the home with our family and friends! If you find a stray dog toy in the house or yard, fear not, we bring our three golden retrievers every time!
