Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us! We’re glad you enjoyed the home overall and had the chance to experience the Cherry Point air show. We do want to clarify for future guests that there is a gorgeous public water access located less than 100 meters from the property, just down the street. Detailed directions and a map are provided in both our online guide and the welcome information inside the home. Unfortunately, we were never contacted during the stay regarding difficulty locating the access, as we would have been more than happy to assist right away. Regarding the bedroom lighting, the home is equipped with smart bedside lighting that allows guests to adjust brightness levels to their preference. We appreciate all guest feedback as it helps us continue improving the experience, and we’re happy to hear you found the home comfortable and accommodating overall.

This house was exactly what I was looking for. I love being near the water and had never been to Emerald Isle, so I wanted something far enough from the usual beach congestion to feel relaxed, but still close to the water—and this home delivered on both.The house is located in Newport, making it ideal for anyone who enjoys the beach as well as the calm of the sound. The location was perfect, and the home itself was clean, open, airy, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay feel extra special.I traveled with my dog and really appreciated the spacious backyard, along with the added convenience of dog bowls being provided. It made a big difference.I’m also grateful for how accommodating and responsive the host was whenever I had a question. Overall, I would absolutely return—not just to Newport, but to this house specifically. Choosing this place definitely earned me some points, and I’m confident you won’t be disappointed if you stay here too.

This was my first VRBO stay and it was amazing. The property was very quiet and was a great size both inside and out for my family to relax. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals and the host was wonderful.

This location is fantastic. It’s close to everything including beach but secluded as well. It’s the last house on a dead end street with horses and chickens as neighbors. Very quiet neighborhood but very friendly neighbors

The diligent housekeeping created an atmosphere that was both warm and welcoming. Our family delighted in outdoor pleasures, such as the fire pit and bean bag toss, while exploring the charming locales of Emerald Isle, Atlantic Beach, and Morehead City.

Loved the house with the fire pit. The kids love sitting out there around the fire. House was very clean and they were very generous with giving courtesy kcups, and a very kind welcome gift. Be sure to ask where the entrance to the water is and also the play ground. We did t need them this round. But if we did we would have needed directions. Great stay and very comfortable!

Wonderful stay

The house is very nice on the inside and has great back yard. It has a secluded feeling even though it's in a subdivision. My youngest loved having the Alexa's in every room. The Host was extremely helpful and responded quickly when I had a question. Would book again!

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. Peyman, the host, was very friendly and responsive. The layout was great and it was very clean. Quiet Retreat

When we arrived, we were welcomed with chocolate and a bottle of wine. The house was very clean and cozy. The host was wonderful and quick to answer questions. Absolutely loved relaxing on the back porch and could have sat in that egg chair all day. It’s a very peaceful area at the end of the road right around the corner from sound access. While in the area, I definitely recommend visiting The Friendly Market for tasty local goodies! Overall extremely happy with our stay!
