This beautiful 5-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom oceanfront home is a great family house for a beach vacation! The home features beautiful wood finishing throughout and a cozy decor that adds to the rustic charm.

Excellent location. Old vintage beach cottage with nice porches. Wasn’t crowded due to the season/time of year. Great for walking & biking. Did not fish but looked promising. Great restaurants within 10 minute drive. Wonderful golf courses nearby

The Willcox Dotterer house was a lovely location for our trip. The location was fabulous with the ocean only steps away and the creek/salt marsh on the other side of the house. With the area being a single row of house toward the southern tip of the island, the beach was not crowded. Check in/out was extremely easy and the host was very responsive to needs. It was our first trip to Pawleys Island and we all loved it.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was perfect for a family reunion luncheon where we all grew up in the area. We gathered from SC, NC, VA, Fl, CA, TN & GA to enjoy the nostalgia of the home and location. Many wonderful memories made.

Plenty of room . 1st and 2nd story rooms with floor to ceiling windows facing ocean were great.. we cooked instead of going out kitchen is well equipped. One improvement could be to replace toilets they r old and r almost floor level.

The house was quintessential Pawleys Island with beach furnishing, amazing view and fully equipped. The children loved crabbing and fishing off the dock in the inlet. The ocean was steps from the back porch. Tidelife was very helpful with all requests, we would recommend this property.

A little piece of heaven!

I have been coming to Pawleys Island since I was in middle school; I’m 54 now! We have stayed in several different houses on the island and have always enjoyed our time. The biggest draw back of this most recent house we stayed is there were too many steps for my aging parents and uncle. We also had more than one electrical socket not working. But overall, we had a blast!

Thank you for your review. The outlets that were not working were due to a GFI and have been reset. Next time you come this way be sure to ask for a property that has an elevator to ensure that your guests are comfortable. It is also best to enter on the Oceanside instead of the street side because there are fewer stairs.

It is so nice to be right on the beach and also have access to the boat dock across the street. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook several meals. Home was clean.
