Guana Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very nice and well stocked. Its location in Orchid Bay across from the tennis court and overlooking the Sea of Abaco is ideal. The pool was a very nice amenity and enjoyed by all!

Amazing Vacation Home

This house is a gem! It was perfect for our extended family. Beds were sooo comfortable and the home is lovely and so functional. The kitchen items made cooking a breeze. Location is a perfect 10!

Fabulous, well-maintained home right within the gates of Orchid Bay! Mark was a pleasure to communicate with and extremely accommodating! House was clean and turn-key ready for a relaxing weekend!

Awesome Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Great waterfront location, clean, well appointed and excellent communication with the owner and property manager. I stayed here with coworkers and there was plenty of space and bedrooms/bathrooms for full privacy, but nice living room and outdoor space for gathering as well. I would definitely stay here again!

Barefoot Cottage - chefs kiss!

Barefoot Cottage ticked all our boxes and then some. Beds for all 12, easy dining for all around a table for 10, kids at the counter, dock (in the end we left our boat behind and rented 2 also golf carts from Dive Guana - great folks!). Big pluses were lovely grounds in Orchid Bay gated community and a pool which was a huge plus. Ditto tennis/basketball court. The cottage was fully provisioned. Just bring food; everything else was there. The furnishings and general ambiance were perfect. Host Mark a delight. Perfect family vacation.

Great house and location

Conveniently located to the marina and everything else on the island. The day dock worked great for loading and unloading every day. The house has 3 king beds downstairs for adults and the upstairs was a great setup for the kids. Would love to stay here again next time we make it to Guana.

Great getaway experience! Couldn’t have asked for a better host

Highly recommend staying at Marks spot. Very close to the marina and wonderful pool, patio, dock setup. Definitely grab breakfast groceries on the way over. Not any bfast options on Guana. Close to Nippers and Grabbers.

Great Location Beautiful View

Perfect location! House is very spacious and very clean. We had a group of 9 and had plenty of room. Had plenty of linen and beach towels. Great beach close by. Will be back!

June Abaco Trip

Very clean, well appointed, great located property on Guana. Check-in was very easy and we were met at the ferry dock with a pick up truck to help us with our luggage. Wi-Fi, TV and back up generator all worked as advertised.

Amazing!

The Barefoot Cottage is wonderful! We have rented this house several times and it is always the best for our family vacation. There is plenty of space for our large family, very clean, well equipped and very comfortable. We are all looking forward to our next visit to Guana Cay and The Barefoot Cottage!

Beautiful Home and Fantastic Setting

This home was perfect for our two families. Our teens had there own living area upstairs with there rooms so the adults could hangout downstairs. The location is amazing and Mark was so responsive to our questions. Would definitely recommed.

Amazing house on a beautiful island

The house is perfect. We arrived by boat and the house was even more than we expected. The Orchid Bay Marina crew was so helpful and made our stay the best trip yet.

What a fun family filled labor day!

The barefoot cottage is so beautiful and easy to stay in! The Orchid Bay Marina is a walk away for your boat but the day dock at the property is very convenient too. We loved that each room had its own bathroom. The upstairs is kid friendly and worked out great for our family.

Amazing Home, Fantastic Host

The home is amazing and everything you could hope for. Well stocked and an amazing view. It was really nice to have 3 bedrooms all with king beds in them. Anytime we had even the most minor question the host was on it immediately. Even better the marina staff also are the property managers so they would do anything we needed. Great stay at an amazing property.

Guana Barefoot Glory

The property and house are stunning. Bathrooms, kitchen living rooms and bedrooms were all A+. Property managers assisted with any questions we had and even did a house cleaning for us Mid-Trip. Easy access to the boat because the house is right next to the marina and the house dock on the sea of Abaco is great for quick offloads of people and or diving gear. I am so thankful to have found this gem and will be back.

Awesome House for 4 Couples

This house is beautiful and in a great location on Guana. 4 bedrooms each have a king size bed and their own bathrooms plus there is a bunk room. We were 4 couples and it was perfect. It would also be really great for 3 families. Outdoor area is amazing with a pool and a dock that you can swim and fish from. Dock is not protected enough to tie your boat up overnight but you can easily load and unload here and keep it overnight at the docks of the rental company. Absolutely loved our time in this beautiful home on this beautiful island!

Perfect!

What a gem! The house was perfect. 3 couples and 5 teenagers. Upstairs was perfect for the young ones. Rented golf carts and boat slip. Kitchen could use some updating but otherwise it was fantastic! Loved the pool, ice maker and the generator worked great. Mark replied to our questions immediately. We booked next year already

Great spot on Guana

We had an incredible trip!! The property housed 4 adults and 7 children very comfortably. The views were great and the house was very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking meals when dining in. The grocery store is a mile away. The dock is convenient for loading and unloading a boat. It is conveniently only 200 yards from Orchid Bay Marina. Very quiet neighborhood and the kids had fun playing on the tennis court. It is a 10min golf cart ride to Bakers Bay. Mark was a fantastic host- very responsive. We will definitely be back!

AMAZING

two families, four adults and six kids. the accommodations were incredible, sunset views amazing, house was impeccable and had more items {household/kitchen/spices/etc} than other vrbos we have been to. property manager sent helpers to the dock when we got off the ferry to help with luggage and take us to the house which was so helpful. mark was super communicative and a wonderful resource, as was tony at dive guana. it was a trip we will never forget and such a wonderfully quaint and quiet island, after days spent visiting the busier sights in the area. five stars all the way!!!!

Beautiful Home and Location

Our group of six had a wonderful time at Barefoot Cottage. The location was perfect and the scenery was beautiful and relaxing. Mark answered all our questions and was quickly to response. The house had all the amenities needed and the beds were extremely comfortable. We definitely recommend renting a Golf Cart from Dive Guana just around the corner to explore the island and their many beaches. Even though this home has a boat dock, the waters are too rough to dock your boat at this location. We ended up renting a boat slip next door at the Marina, which is walking distance. We highly recommend renting at Barefoot Cottage and will be back soon.
