Steps away from the BEACH!

Welcome to our "Chapter 2" In our beautiful, 2 bed and 2 full bath condo which will sleep up to 6 adults plus children. You will feel right at home with all the amenities you are looking for.

Our gated community resort offer a great family vacation spot with activities for all ages. Volleyball, tennis, golfing, in and outdoor swimming, beaching, biking and more. Kids will love the play set on the property as well!

Our condo has been fully remodeled from ceiling to floor! New appliances, furniture, couch with pull out mattress, queen bed in master bedroom, 2 sets of twin bunk beds in second bedroom, well equipped kitchen, new bathrooms vanities, new flooring throughout condo, fresh paint, 55" 4K smart TV in the living room, a 43" 4K smart TV in master bedroom, and lightning speed internet. There are 2 pools on the property, one indoor and one outdoor which happens to be our view! There is a restaurant/bar located at the outdoor pool to quench your thirst! The private boardwalk will lead you to the beach and another delicious restaurant (Coco's) to grab yourself a snack before entering the beach! Or sit on the front porch balcony and enjoy the view of the beautiful pool and sunshine. (beach chairs and umbrella is provided)

Enjoy nearby casual/fine dining as well as championship golf courses, shopping, mini golf, local events, exploring others cities such as Savannah, Old Town Bluffton, Daufuskie Island, and other fun activities! Our unit is steps away from the laundry facilities on floor 2.
POLICIES
*Maximum of 6 Adults
*No smoking in condo, however there are designated smoking areas.
*The resort does NOT allow pets.
*No events, parties or large gatherings
*Must be at least 25 years old to book
*Guest are required to sign Rental Agreement
*Security Deposit Hold of $250 will be collected prior to guest arrival
*Breaking house rules will result in a $250 fine per occurrence

Perfect stay for our family. This is our favorite place to stay, Matt had all that we needed to enjoy the beach. Kitchen stocked for meals at home, 1st floor in building 1 is absolutely our favorite. Matt is a gracious host with immediate response to any questions we had.While HH resort is older, the staff are always around watching out for things. Amanda and her husband are keeping you fed and thirst quenched at the pool. Even with the rainy weather we had a great time as always.

We had a great stay at this property! Matt was a great host and responded quickly to all communications. The unit was clean, in a great location, and so cute. We saw alligators everyday, which the kids loved, and it was great being right off the pool and close to the beach! Quick drive to great restaurants, shopping, horseback riding, mini golf, and Shelter Cove marina for a dolphin tour. We would definitely stay here again if we head back to Hilton Head!

Fall Break

The condo was described accurately in the listing and Matt was easy to work with! Communication was very easy as well. The condo overlooks the outdoor pool area and is a short walk to the beach. The bar area near the pool is a nice area to get a drink and relax. We are already considering staying here again!

At the Beach

the property was clean, just a little to small for us, not your fault. Hard to find bike rental and bike parking, need more signs. Boardwalk was great, CoCos was great. Stairwells need to be painted and better lighting. Having a storage unit was a nice touch.

Great Location

Loved the location! Located on 1st floor, overlooking the pool, and closest building to the ocean. Appreciated the chairs and wagons that were available for use. Communication with hosts was excellent and easy to access everything. Thank you!

Exactly as advertised, owner very helpful

Older buildings but well maintained. Beautiful walk to the ocean across a raised walkway. Apartment is modern with good amenities. Property has a security guard and I met several caretakers driving around checking on things. We stayed in February so not during the high season so property was quiet. If staying in the winter months bring extra blankets as there are only a few comforters more geared for the summer and there were 5 of us. Great kitchen and well appointed with new appliances. It’s evident that Matt take excellent care of his property and his guests.

Nice place

We stayed the weekend for a golf tournament. The place was as described and clean. The communication was great and they were very quick to respond. The only thing about the place and it is very small. Obviously you can’t tell from the pictures but the bedroom with the bunk beds is very tight and the only closet is in that bedroom. I still give it 5 stars because it’s still a nice place and a good value.

Great location

We loved the location of this condo—steps away from the pool and close to the gorgeous boardwalk to the beach. The unit had nice appliances and gave our family a good home base while exploring Hilton Head Island over a long weekend.

Excellent beach vacation spot!

The place was a perfect size and right by the larger outdoor pool. Tiki bar, gift shop, and grill just right outside of our room. Ling board walk just off the stairs that goes out to the beautiful beach! Tram service for people who cant walk far. Central to most stuff on the island!

Great place for your family

My family had a wonderful time at Steps away from the Beach. Everything you needed was there. Walking distance to the supermarkets, beach, nice outdoor and indoor pool, jacuzzi, washer/dryer on a site. The place comes with a locker that has beach chairs, umbrella, and some beach toys for the kids. You can also rent a bike and explore the island. Everything was very thoughtful.

Wonderful trip!

We were traveling with our 5 small children and absolutely loved our trip! The condo was so comfortable and conveniently located. Our favorite was the boardwalk to the beach! Matt was friendly and very helpful. We loved it all!

Wonderful stay!

Communication was great! The owner checked in on us several times. The check in was smooth, very clean and all the items you need for cooking. Close to the beach. I wished I had thought to bring an iron. That was the only minor thing missing could have use one for my clothes when we went out for dinner. Instead, I was able to use my winkle free spray. 😊 Would definitely stay here again! Thanks Matt for our lovely stay and the great communication.

Beach vacation

We had a great beach trip. The condo was very convenient to anything we needed. Kroger is 5 mins away. The beach was a short, beautiful walk away. Even the kids loved walking the boardwalk to the beach.

Wonderful location and condo

Loved our overall experience staying at this condo. It was just the right amount of space for my husband, daughter, and I to spread out. My daughter LOVED the bunk beds. Easy access to the outdoor pool (which is very popular) and closest condo to the boardwalk for the beach. It is a good walk, but there is a shuttle that runs during the popular hours. I'm out of shape and overweight but was able to handle the walk. Matt (property owner) was great and gave me a call at check in to make sure we were good with everything. He responds quickly to emails as well. The beach was beautiful and not as populated as the public beach access areas. Overall, yes, I would choose to stay here again!

Our family has visited Hilton Head Island for summer vacation for many years and we've always dreamed of owning our own little piece of paradise in the area!

Steps away from the Beach is that dream come to life. We've put a lot of love and care into the home to make it a wonderful place for a family getaway. We love relaxing on the balcony while watching our kids splash in the pool. The location is perfect and the Hilton Head Resort is one of a kind.

The home is just a short stroll to the beach and the neighborhood is perfect for morning or evening walks or bike rides. We're excited to make plenty more family memories and are happy to be able to offer Steps away from the Beach for you to make memories in as well.
