About a 7 minute walk to the pool/beach boardwalk. There is a pond right behind the villa that you can fish and has bass and brim in it. This villa is located on the 2nd floor and no elevator access so you have to pack all luggage up one flight of stairs. Very clean and well furnished!

Fun summer vacation

We had a wonderful time here for our family summer vacation. The condo was exactly what we needed with cool AC for a restful trip. The bunk bed and twin in the 2nd bedroom allowed for more space for the kids/teens. The complex was great. It was easy to drive and park to walk on the beach. Security around the complex was great also. The owners reached Communicated with us before and during the stay which was nice. We look forward to staying here again next year! Highly recommend this condo!

Great place!

Wonderful condo for some nice family time. We enjoyed the beach and pickle ball courts. The outside grills were convenient. The onsite activities were a nice surprise. There was a movie night, pool dance party, cookout on the lawn, etc. Owners were good communicators. Thanks for a great time!

HHI property was exactly as advertised

The only slight drawback to this unit is that it faces east over the parking lot, so there’s not much to look at outside and you are in the shade in the afternoon. That aside it is well located for all the amenities at the resort and well away from the sometimes noisy tennis and pickleball courts. The interior of the unit was clean and everything required for cooking was available. Our stay was enjoyable and our host was quick to respond to an inquiry about the TV service. All good.

Yearly Family Vacation

I am not too sure where to begin. I received a text the day before we were to arrive that the refrigerator was not working and would not be fixed until 4 days later. We have 4 kids so this didn’t work for us. I asked if he could get someone earlier and the host said if I find someone who could do it sooner he would pay for it which I did and was fixed the day we arrived. The refrigerator broke again 3 days later and was fixed the next day. The host did Venmo us the amount we lost in groceries which was great! The room was not available until 4:45 pm because the cleaning crew thought the check in time was 5 pm not 4 pm line we were told. However we were able to check out an hour later to make up for this. There is a 150 lb weight limit for the bunk beds, and don’t plan on using the pull out couch as it’s all just springs and no mattress padding is left to it. The positives are the bathrooms are nice and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The beach chairs provided were great to take down! The pool and beach are within a 7-10 minute walk and the work out room is great! Jamaica Joe’s has good food and drinks as well. The owner was responsive but the condo is suited for smaller children. Other than the couple of issues it was a good stay.

Vacation

The condo was true to its listing. Very cozy except the master bedroom mattress was uncomfortable, but made due. Really no major complaints. We would definitely book with the owners agian. We had a wonderful time. 4th time booking in this resort, best pool and oceanside bar and pub. Beach was overran by sea straw, but that's mother nature!

Relaxing condo

We totally loved the condo. It was clean, fresh and very nicely updated. We have already booked our second visit to this condo. Communication with owners was way above the standard. They were very accommodating when we needed an extra parking pass.

Good area for beach vacation

Overall a good place to stay. Good location to beach but a good little walk to beach so I drove down and park close to beach pool. Sleeping was quiet and restaurants for lunch and dinner on resort. I did have a complaint that the second bathroom toilet was not clean (messy) from previous stay. I let manager know but no one came to clean it so just used the other bathroom only. It is a second floor unit. Key code did not appear in checkin email so had to contact mgr when arrived.

A nice condo

Great location with easy access to the beach and pool. Owner communication was excellent. Would recommend staying here to family and friends.

Nice condo

Nice condo, not far from the beach. Bed was super firm and very uncomfortable to me but my husband liked it. So depends on personal preference. Decently stocked kitchen and beach chairs for use. Cleaning crew could have done a better job as the bathroom was not well cleaned. Great communication with owners.

Return to Hilton Head Island

After missing 2 years due to Covid, this was our first trip back to the island. The resort had great amenities and the room was just what we expected. We would definitely rent here again

Great place to stay

We had a great time. It was just my husband and I so there was plenty of room. It is dated but you can see that in the pictures. I actually Loved the beds since they are firm and great on my back. I brought my own antibacterial cleaner & fabric spray to double clean just because of it being Covid and all. I also lit a candle to make it more homey for us which was perfect. The location was great also. We chose to drive to the beach access even though you could totally walk but we found it better to drive we just left our beach things in the car and didn’t have to lug them around. There was available parking by the access so it was pretty much a no brainer. We are already thinking of when we want to come back. You can’t beat the location and price! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Exactly as described in listing

Having just arrived back from staying in this unit and reading the prior review makes my jaw drop as those comments are very exaggerated. I'm not sure what that guest expected as the pictures describe the unit very accurately - for example, you can tell the furniture and appliances are not new just by looking at the pictures! We found this unit met our needs just fine. We did not expect the Ritz Carleton and certainly were not paying Ritz prices, so the fact that it was not recently updated was fine. In fact when you compare prices with other units in this same complex, this unit was priced at a value! I found the communication with the owner exceptional - the best I've ever seen in our 10+ years of renting vacation properties. I especially appreciated having all the check-in instructions more than a week prior to our arrival. He was responsive about any questions both during and after booking. I always ask about mattress quality as beds that are too soft give my husband and I backaches - I appreciated his honesty and found his descriptions accurate. In terms of the walk to the beach, those who have mentioned driving make me laugh. Honestly, you are simply walking thru the condo complex parking lots to get to the beach - driving would be ridiculous in my opinion. The pool is large but does get crowded at busy times of the day as does the beach. We appreciated that there were security driving around in golf carts all the time and felt very safe. Even though it is a large complex with many units, there was not a noise issue at all. It really was family friendly. There is a small workout room near the laundry which my son used daily and never found it crowded. We also had no trouble

Not what I expected

The condo was very small and very outdated. Everything needs remodeled the furniture was sad and uncomfortable. The carpet and flooring were horrible. The ceiling fans did not work and they rattled the whole time. We were told there would be chairs and supplies for the beach, there was two chairs (one was broken) a very sad umbrella, a couple sand buckets, and some broken worn out boogie boards. There were limited dishes, there was no pizza pan, who doesn’t have a pizza pan? The walk to the beach was very long most of the time we had to drive. The pool maybe large but the resort has so many units the pool was packed with no room to barley swim, and you could never find any place to sit. Overall I highly recommend not vacationing at this condo, it was just a very sad, poorly decorated, uncomfortable, and crowded.
