Just finished a complete first floor renovation in June 2022.
Full basement renovation completed in May 2023.

We recently purchased this breathtaking home in the winter of 2020 and are looking to share this joy with other families throughout the year. This home provides a once in a lifetime opportunity to escape from the stressful components of daily living and simply relax while gazing at what can be recognized as, "The Best View of Popponesset Bay". Complete with a private dock and swimming pool, unfathomable adventures are waiting to be had as you can sail the sea with a straight shot to the islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket or simply relax at home, drinking your morning coffee in complete serenity on the expansive deck.

We do not rent to college students or singles under 25 years unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.

No Smoking in or on premises

No Dragging Accessories on the Dock, including Kayaks (must be dragged to water through side beach.)

We had a wonderful time. The property is located on a beautiful spot with direct water access . Enjoyed kayaking to the beach and watching sunrises and sunsets from the dock. House was cozy & comfortable and had everything we needed. Grocery and shopping are also just 7 minute away by car.

The location defies description it is so beautiful. The water is steps away, there is ample sunny areas and plenty of shade too. Additionally there is shopping, dining and entertainment within minutes. Complete privacy as neighbors are barely visible. The house itself is clean, modern and comfortable. A well equipped kitchen, ample bedrooms and a large enough dining and gathering area for our entire party. I cannot recommend this home highly enough!

House exceeded expectations for a long weekend gathering of old friends. The home had all the desired amenities, some of which we were sorry not to have had the time to take advantage of (pool, firepit, kayaks, pool table). The views from the deck and dock were magnificent, and we were doubly rewarded with excellent September weather. Maria, our host, was incredibly responsive and we wanted for nothing. Would not hesitate to recommend or stay again in the future. Thank you!

The view of the Popponosset bay was wonderful. Seeing the Oyster fisherman working across the pond was fun. The water life and birds were fun to watch. Kayaking was fun. The outdoor fire pit was a gas fired pit. The pool is non-heated. All of the furniture was comfortable and relaxing both the dock, beach, deck and indoor. Washer and Dryer were a great convenience, and the dishwasher too. There was a good amount of utensils and dishes for meals for all of us.

Perfect weekend getaway

My family and I had an amazing stay. The views, pool, and dock access made for a perfect set up. We appreciated the personal touches from the host including a nice hand written note and a stocked wine cooler to greet us. We would love to stay here again!

Great family vacation house.

Great location. Loved the deck overlooking the water, the dock, the kayaks and the pool right next to the house. We mostly stayed around the house and the bay. Local free beach was close by with no one there on cooler windy days. Host, Maria, was very responsive to questions we had.

Beautiful secluded spot

We loved the location of this relaxing house. Secluded and peaceful, but very close to a lot of restaurants, shops and ice cream. We used the kayaks to explore the bay, and spent a lot of time hanging out, reading, playing games, and enjoying the fantastic view with family and dogs. Thank you for a much needed place to unwind and recharge!

Wonderful vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!! We were looking for a place that we could go and relax and unwind and we found the perfect location. From early morning coffee on the deck to mid day swim and boating to a glass of wine on the deck it was exactly what we were looking for. Rest and relaxation at a tranquil absolutely beautiful setting. At the same time it was not too far from shopping and great dining options I would highly recommend this property! Thank you!

Beautiful and private property on the bay

Our large family had a very enjoyable stay at this property. The setting on the bay was lovely and the surrounding woods made the house more private than you’re likely to find on Cape Cod. The rustic style and casual furnishings made for an easy stay with children and the pool was a big hit. It’s a quiet place, the silence broken only by an occasional motor boat or jet ski. Maria was a gracious host and responded to any questions immediately.

The home is beautiful, the ocean view with the dock was peaceful. we caught stripers and bluefish. it was very quiet. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to take a small vacation. i would rent this place again. we met with one of the owners. He was very nice and welcoming.

End of summer getaway

Our family had a lovely time at this property. The waterfront location is breathtaking. The property feels very remote, on a dirt road extension from the primary quiet residential road. The Mashpee location was very convenient to beach and biking (both the Shining Sea bikeway in Falmouth and the Cape Code Rail Trail out of Dennis). We also had easy access to shopping and restaurants, especially at Mashpee commons. The house is very cute and our family enjoyed that we could spread out across the 5 bedrooms on 3 levels. Dog friendly too!!!!

Cape Cod Getaway 2022

We were very comfortable in your home. My two grandsons swam at least 10 times a day! If I were to offer up a few suggestions it would be overhead lighting in the dining area and a few more beach towels, but we picked some up and were able to wash them before we came home since you had onsite laundry which was very nice! We would definitely stay here again! Thanks for the memories!

Overall, we had a nice time. The location is perfect. There might need to be improvement with some screens and side tables would be good for basement queen bedroom. The bikes could be updated. It was cool during our week for the most part, but might get a bit hotter mid summer. Overall, we really liked the spot/house.

Family Birthday Bliss

We had 3 family birthdays this week & for the 1st time in years we were all together. What made it extra special was this fantastic property & superb location. Maria was so easy to communicate with, it just made everything super smooth. When you get the weather here in the creeks and rivers it is an incredibly enjoyable place to stay, protected kayaking, peaceful yet close to the shops at Mashpee Commons for all the essentials. Perfect Getaway

Maria was a fantastic host. This home was better than advertised. The house was extremely clean and well stocked. If you are scared about not having air conditioning, don't be, the home stays very cool. We really enjoyed the dock, pool and beautiful waterfront views. The bay was perfect for a paddle board or the kayaks provided by the host. Pool table in the basement was an added bonus. So close to some great areas for shopping (which my girlfriend loved). This home is a gem and will 100% be returning next season!

The carpets were very soiled; the bedding and linens was okay but not matching color scheme very much. The furniture was soiled, worn out. 393b1cec-0add-4b35-b994-1979997efc48 need a real decorator to re-stage the furniture and beddings. Overall that lack of decorating and the soil was distracting and a bit depressing. I expected better.

amazing location, house not so much

The location is amazing, right on quonset bay, across from the spit. Quiet and picturesque with a small pool that the children immensely enjoyed. However the house was disappointing : It had an unpleasant smell that the numerous air fresheners could not counteract. The kitchen was poorly equipped: my wife ended up buying silverware, cups, bowls and a teakettle and almost invested in a toaster (none of these were present). She also ended up buying towels, because there wasn't enough for all of us. A shelf collapsed as my sister was putting away glasses. The basement was too stinky so no one would sleep down there. But fortunately the weather was great and we spend most of our time outside. And I should also mention that the owner was very responsive.

Amazing location and amenities!

• Location: The house isn’t too far into the cape which makes it easy to get to from Boston. It is right on the Bay with its own private dock. Downtown Mashpee is super cute and easy to get to - only like 4 minutes to the Commons. • Amenities: My friends and I had an amazing time playing in the pool outside and playing pool inside in the basement - great spaces! The kayaks and floaties were also super fun. LOVE the outdoor shower. The outdoor area has a grill and lots of seating on the deck looking out onto the bay. • Inside the house: While we were concerned about not having AC (especially during the heat wave) the house did cool off at night with the windows open and the fans that are there. The kitchen was well stocked and lots of space to hold all of the food we brought. Loved the high ceilings in the living room. The pictures were pretty accurate representations of the house. • Outside: so much room for parking! Fun tire swing off the tree. Trash and recycling bins were close by. Thank you for having us! It was a great place to celebrate my 30th bday!

Wonderful Location; Small, Bare-Bones Home

The dock and view are as good as advertised, and the hosts were extremely responsive and kind. Lack of A/C wasn’t an issue even in late August. The house needs refreshing. The basement is bare bones, (not even a good place to leave the teens - much of it is simply an empty room!). The bathrooms are insufficient for the number of bedrooms, and the beds themselves are uncomfortable. Screens are broken. All bedrooms save one lack desks, end tables, seating. The bedroom off the kitchen lacks a door (!). Pool feels added for online listing - Poorly integrated into landscaping & decking and extremely shady (read: very cold). The space simply isn’t built for the 10 or so people the house claims to sleep. Would not bring more than 6. Overall a lot of promise, not realized. The water is wonderful however most Cape homes have much more to offer.
