DONT MISS OUT ! Spacious Cotuit home with 4 large bedroom suites, 4 full baths and a bunk bed room . The large living area has a cozy living room with a fireplace, which opens to the sunken family room with a wet bar, great for entertaining. The home offers a huge fenced in back yard with a fantastic in-ground saltwater pool and outdoor shower. The neighborhood offers a Pickleball /Tennis court for your enjoyment!! The public boat ramp and 3 town beaches are just a 1/2 mile down the road. Bring your boat and flip flops, This house was made for entertaining. Please email with any questions


Cotuit: The village of Cotuit, located in the town of Barnstable has a wonderful market, a historic & user friendly library, the Kettle -Ho restaurant and bar ( great sports venue) and our very own Kettlers Cape Cod Baseball League. Cotuit also has the famous Cahoon museum, and the elegant Villaggio Restaurant one of Cape Cod's finest.
We love this home and are sure you will love it too !

Great spaces for a large group! We really enjoyed the pool area and sunroom. We were two families with young adults and found the space allowed for all of us to eat together (two tables) in the sunroom, and then play games, talk, read and laugh together.

We had a very nice stay. The property is a bit dated in some respects, but very comfortable. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed. The pool was clean and great, the beds were comfy, etc. We knew from the pictures and descriptions how things were, and it was all as expected. Thanks!

Happy to stay at Happy Ours.

Exceptionally nice home beautiful neighborhood couldn't of us for a better vacation spot. It was just a few miles away from beautiful beaches and area shopping but Farenuff away to really feel like you could rest and relax highly recommend

It’s all about location when going on vacation. Our home is convenient to all the Cape has to offer. During the off-season we make small improvements to the house. Last year we installed central air. The pool is definitely a plus. It’s a great vacation home. Glad

Great vacation house!

We had a great time at "Happy Ours"! It is such a big beautiful home. Very tastefully decorated and plenty of room for our family of five to spread out. THe pool is fantastic, especially with the heat and humidity we had. The kids loved the various beaches, but loved coming back to swim in the pool! The amenities are all wonderful in this home and the owners are super nice and helpful. Wished we stayed two weeks!

As the owner of Happy Ours; its always nice when a family enjoys our home as much as we do. We always strive to make our home look and feel comfortable for all. We are pleased that such a great family stayed with us and that their vacation was terrific. We hope they come back to create more family memories in the years to come !!

Enjoyed our week in Cape Cod

Our family enjoyed this property. It’s wonderful to have a pool, my grandchildren loved it! Unfortunately the pool was cloudy our entire stay. Reached out to the owners who were quick to respond to me with my questions or concerns. One evening we took the path in back of the house and found the local baseball team “Cotuit Kettleers” and enjoyed a game out in centerfield. We had a few day trips to local towns, including one day to Martha’s Vineyard.

Not so nice

I do not reccomend this property. It is nicely furnished somewhat over furnished but moldy. The maintenance is haphazard and the owners out of town. While we were there the skylight over the only seating from which to watch the TV leaked everytime it rain hard. The washer didn't work and when it was worked on the underside of the agitator revealed thick accumulated scum and mold. The upstairs master bath developed a toilet leak. Before any substantive response it had flooded the ceiling in the bedroom below so that the .actress was completely soak. While a new toilet was eventually installed nothing was ever done to remediate that bedroom. These are the highlights of our several months long stay. There were other incidents. I have a list a and pictures.

I’m sorry you feel this way, you could have stayed elsewhere if you were that unhappy. But you stayed for 7 months. Every issue (and you had plenty,) we addressed by going over ourselves in the beginning and sending over a Handyman when we weren’t available. We allowed you extra storage in the garage and you treated the house as a storage facility. Most issues with the house were operator error. The house was left dirty, disorganized, furniture rearranged, accent pieces broken and misplaced. I truly understand why your contractor left the job with out finishing. I would not rent to them again.

Celebration of 60th birthday!

We used this vacation as a chance to celebrate a birthday milestone. 60 years! It also served as a family reunion after this crazy time of Covid. We did very much appreciate the opportunity to have a private space to gather and feel safe. The house was clean, and very well appointed. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great House!

This house is spacious and has a nice layout. We stayed for two months through the holidays, and had a wonderful experience. The owners are extremely responsive and replied quickly when needed. There is a lovely walking trail right behind the house, and the neighborhood and the area are beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing week!

Had a lovely stay at the house. We were there for a week with my 2 boys (aged 3 & 7) and my parents. Everyone had a great time. There was plenty of room to spread out and the in-law suite was a nice convenience to have so that my parents could rest and be undisturbed when the boys were being loud. Kitchen was well equipped and there were so many options of where to sit/eat and hang out to please everyone.

Perfect location, particularly during the pandemic!

We visited as a family of 9, 3 generations with teens. The house was perfectly laid out with plenty of space for sleeping and relaxing. The neighborhood was wonderful with many wonderful walking trails for our dog. We didn't venture out much because of the pandemic, and loved having the pool to relax and cool off. The yard was fully fenced in so our dog was able to relax with us. We've been traveling to the cape together as a group every summer for about 20 years, and have stayed at larger and more expensive homes, but this is the first house we all agreed we would come back to next year. We hope we'll have the chance to do so!

Wonderful house for a large family.

The house is perfect for a large family, no one crowded and plenty of common area and the pool and yard were terrific. Would go there again. Especially loved the "in=law" apt as it gave the grandparents a chance to rejuvenate.

Great House

We just got back from Happy Ours and had a blast!!! The house itself was very huge and spacious. We had 6 adults and 3 children and there was so much room. The add bonus was the side apartment on the side by the pool it was huge with a kitchen, bedroom, sitting/dinning room and a huge bathroom. We had 3 of the hottest days on arrival and the pool was so great to have. Any party that rents this home will not be disappointed. We would book again for next year but sadly some of the family have other plans and would be just to big for the remaining. I think 2017 is looking real good. Just got back had a great time!!! The house itself is very spacious but the side apartment on the side by pool was such a surprise and added bonus. You will not be disappointed in this rental is was great.

Great Family Vacation!!

We just recently returned from a wonderful week at Happy Ours, in Cotuit. What a gem, we loved the location, tucked away in residential, quiet, safe, beautiful neighbourhood, The home was a charming family place to be, we had dinners by the pool, enjoyed the fire pit and the kids swam morning and night. Loved the salt water for pool too! Really would recommend to anyone, and would love to go back. thanks to the owners for sharing their slice of heaven!

Just spent 2 weeks here......

The house is awesome it was larger than we thought which was wonderful and the pool is such a fabulous bonus!!! The neighborhood was great for my little ones to ride their bikes and play. The only downside for us was that is was not closer to the beach. Overall we had a great experience.
