Pefect for us, our kids and grandkids. Everyone loved it, especially kayaking in the lake. Great outdoor spaces to grill and make a fire. Location is near lots of restaurants and stores.

This property was amazing. Every detail that makes a week at the Cape a pleasure was considered. The house was fully functional (everything works). This is our 20th year on the Cape and our family voted this property the best!

Great little property and convenient location. It was early in the summer season so some amenities were not fully in place when we arrived but the staff quickly responded to address things and made sure we were happy.

Lovely Setting, spacious property

Lovely setting for a family vacation. Deck space was a favorite spot and kids enjoyed kayaking. Convenient location to the rest of the Cape.

Beautiful large house on lake

Beautiful setting on Shallow Pond, and great location near Hyannis. The house very nicely accommodated our large group--it was very well maintained with excellent renovations.

This was an amazing property with amenities to keep everyone busy. We used the kayaks daily, and the fire pit/outside areas were perfect after putting the little ones to bed. We had everything we needed for an extended family under one roof for a wedding weekend. Thanks again.

Wonderful space beautiful sunsets property manager was just wonderful if I could give him 10 stars I would.To be honest we have ben doing this for almost 15 years and I have never had such a wonderful interaction with the property manager.just a 10 star experience in every way!

Great House, Great Vacation

The house met our needs, and we loved being right on the water. There were times when all 4 kayaks were on the water. And I must mention that the sunsets were gorgeous. We will plan to come back next year.

Outstanding view!

House was great - roomy and gave sense of privacy to huge number of people. Well equipped, kayaks, ping pong, plenty of outdoor seating areas and nice landscaping. Big enough kitchen for several of us to cook in together which isn’t always the case.

Huge rambling house with an ideal location directly on Shallow Pond. Separate wings in the house allowed each of our 3 families to have their own space. We were a total of 5 adults, 5 teens and 2 kids and never felt crowded. Clear, warm, shallow water perfect for swimming, wading, or kayaking. Barely saw anyone else on the lake. The sunsets from the back deck were gorgeous. And surprisingly we didn’t encounter mosquitos. Also very close to the Cape Cod Mall, multiple supermarkets, multiple gyms, everything you might need to purchase. The house was very clean and had everything we needed in terms of kitchen appliances, bedding, bath towels, and beach towels. One of the highlights for my family was the ping pong table in the finished garage with seating for spectators. There were also ample beach chairs though a couple strong beach umbrellas or tents would be a welcome addition. The A/C worked great and kept us comfortable the whole time. WiFi signal was strong and consistent. The house manager was very responsive and friendly in communicating with us. The decor is a little outdated and haphazard, but you’ll barely notice it given the incredible lake views.Highly recommend!

Summer fun for large family

We loved having a secluded place to enjoy our family time in Cape Cod. The views of the pond are incredible and the sunsets second to none. We used it as our jumping off point for activities all along the cape. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and we had everything we needed to enjoy great meals for our family of 11 adults and two babies. Hours of fun in the kayaks, ping pong in the garage and hanging out on the back porch enjoying ice cream with the views.

Perfect for families!

What a great vacation home! We had 3 families all together for the week (14 people in all) and what a great house and location. The kids and grown-ups enjoyed the kayaks, swimming in the pond, fishing off the dock, and having a campfire at night in the firepit. There was plenty of space in the house to accommodate us all, with ample kitchen amenities to make home cooked meals. We had such a great week, we were sad to see it end!

family get together

We had a fabulous time at this lakefront home. It was our second year in a row and it was just as much fun as the first time. There was plenty of room for the young children in the family and enough nearby activities for the older kids. The house is large enough that we never felt crowded, and we particularly enjoyed the oversized deck. The host answered promptly when we had questions. We look forward to staying there again!

The outdoor space and views of the pond were gorgeous and overall we enjoyed our stay. The house is very spacious and spread out which is great for big groups. Unfortunately the house was not cleaned adequately before we arrived, especially the floors. The host remediated the issue but it was disappointing given the cost of the rental.

A great week

This home has everything you could need for a week on the Cape! There were 9 adults and 7 children and plenty of room for all! The house sits on a pond with a beautiful deck. Numerous sitting areas and fire pit. All perfect for evenings. Lots to do so close to Hyannis and Craigville beach. Day trip to Mayflower was about a 30 min ride. Very responsive landlord answering questions quickly! All makings for a super nice time on Cape Cod!

Big, beautiful and enough room for us all

The property is beautiful! It is right on a very large pond. We all had coffee in the mornings as we sat on the deck and watched the ducks/swans swimming. Plenty of us used the kayaks. The outside property has a fabulous deck with plenty of seating, a great fire pit(wood was provided), a grill and a Blackstone. We had 13 guests and we all fit comfortably. The inside had plenty of seating as well and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, pans and cooking utensils. Most rooms have their own AC controller , so people can make it to their liking. A couple of the mattresses have worn out and need replacing, but the rest of the accommodations were truly wonderful.

Oh so private on the secluded pond

The house was a great size for the eleven of us in our family. All the yard surrounding the house was amazingly landscaped. There was so much for each member of our family to do and, of course, the pond and kayaking was the most fun. We could be active all day and night together. The deck is where we spent most of our time eating and enjoying the views. Thank you for providing our family with an amazing vacation destination of activities and relaxation. This vacation was voted the best ever!

The deck overlooking Shallow pond made the house the perfect place to vacation. Great to kayak and two swans with their 3 children visited the dock. The location of the house was great as it was secluded yet close to anything you might need.

Beautiful, peaceful area

We stayed for 1 week and the house was perfect. Plenty of rooms and space. We used the kayaks pretty much every day we were here and the kids swam in the lake. Definitely would stay again. Thank you

Magical!

The pictures on the website don’t do this place justice. What an amazing experience staying here with friends and family to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Though Shallow Pond has several houses on it, they aren’t visible, so the pond felt like it belonged to us. Such a private place yet less than a 10-minute drive to Shaw’s, Trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods. Also convenient to area beaches, though we didn’t leave the house a couple of days because we enjoyed swimming and kayaking on the pond. I’m already looking to see if it’s available for next year!
