This tranquil property is ideally located minutes to downtown Palm Springs and the fine shopping of Palm Desert. This resort retreat is the best the desert has to offer in rest, relaxation and rejuvenation in a lush desert setting. Great Stay!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Kirk was a great host. Views from the property are stunning! The condo is stocked with everything you could possibly need and the was super comfortable. The location is very convenient to the airport and downtown Palm Springs. It made for a very peaceful and relaxing stay. The only suggestions for improvement are minor… We couldn’t get the tv in the bedroom to turn after multiple attempts with both the remotes and television itself, but the tv in the living room was just fine for us. Also, having two full bathrooms was very convenient for getting ready, however, the drain on the bathtub needs to be cleared as there is standing water when using. We would certainly visit this property again in the future and highly recommend to others.

Short stay

Location: 9/10 (was in short proximity of everything on our list) Amenities: 8/10 - was unable to use the pools due to sand storms that made them dirty. Not a fan of not being able to control your own environment- thermostat was pre-programmed and controlled by owner both day/night. Sunsets were nice to view from the patio. Cleanliness: 8/10- was a little dusty but I'm guessing its hard to keep as clean depending on use. Check in/check out: 9/10- easy, owner provided info well in advance. Would have been nice however to have more information on the amenities (location of nearest pool, restaurant on site, club house). Suggestion: provide a 1 or 2 sheet of any information a renter would want to know, including where the local grocery stores are, gas stations, restaurants, etc. How to work TVs...

Lack of cleanliness

My husband and I had heard so many great things about Palm Springs so we chose to spend our vacation there this year. We have stayed in a Vrbo in Florida and had a very good experience with the condo and the host. In fact the host gave us a 5 star rating. So we decided to try a Vrbo in Palm Springs. We like to save money by making our own meals and having privacy. After traveling all day cross country we were finally able to check into the Condo in Cathedral City. After arriving we were checking the place out and wanting to unpack only to find the furniture to be very dusty,the floors were dirty, food in the refrigerator from previous people, stray sock and chapstick under a stool in the bedroom and were unable to use the garage as advertised due to a multitude of items stored in there. It took us 2 hours of our time cleaning the floors and dusting the inside of dresser drawers so we felt comfortable putting our clothes away. We reached out to the host immediately and reported our findings. His response to us was if we felt his place was not acceptable that we should stay at the Hotel down the street and he would give us some money back. The cost of staying at the Hotel far exceeded what we were paying at the Vrbo and we would have to eat our meals out instead of making our own. Seeing how we had already spent time cleaning the condo and liked the location we chose to stay in the condo. The host was not willing to compensate us for the inconvenience we endured.

Relaxing

A great view with the mountain in the distance and great golf view - far enough away no worry about stray golf balls coming near. Like the walkout patio area and bedroom size and appreciate having 2 bathrooms and good size kitchen. Appreciate the details of having extra reading books, puzzles, games, coffee makers & supplies. I would come back to this location.

Great to return to a familiar propert

We love returning to Kirk’s property in Desert Princess! It is just perfect for us….we love the location, the view the security of a gated property. This condo is very tastefully remodelled , and great to have 2 bathrooms as well. We have booked again for next year ….

January in Palm Springs.

This was our second time staying in Kirk's property. The view from the patio is breathtaking. The king sized bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. We love having two bathrooms so each of us can spread out. We have already booked for next year.

Beautiful Views

Beautiful views of mountains and golf course. Nicely updated kitchen and bathrooms. Upon arrival, needed to vacuum a couple areas. Also, a couple used glasses were in cupboard and dirty spoons six deep. Outside the cleaning needs, the condo overall is great.

Nice place and amenities. Comfortable furnishings and well stocked kitchen. The only complaint is housekeeping could have done a little better job cleaning. I found crumbs on floor when entering unit also no sponge/dish rag to clean dishes

Great location

Our stay was fine. Great location and very quiet neighborhood. The resort was gated with a security guard 24 hrs. and we felt very safe. Check in was easy however the lock by the door to get your key is pretty old and worked not really great. Further was the key for the door very small and we have bought a keychain because we were afraid to lose the key. The apartment was not very clean to our standards and we did quite some cleaning ourselves.

Fantastic Getaway!

Kirk's condo was exactly as advertised and more. The unit is very well appointed, roomy and has everything you need. We particularly enjoyed sitting outside on the chaise lounges, watching the golfers and in the evening, the sunset over the mountains. We are already planning to book for next year.

Such a Great Stay!!!

I had an amazing stay at this property, it was perfect. The check in was seamless and Kirk let me in ahead of schedule as my flight arrived at noon but no one had been there the night before so I went in earlier than the check in time. The unit was a perfect size and two bathrooms were a bonus. The ensuite had a shower and I am a bath person so I was very happy that the main bath had a tub . The kitchen had every small appliance, pots pans etc that a person could possibly need. The outdoor area out front overlooked the golf course and a water hole. I could sit on the patio and have my morning coffee and watch the golfers go by, In the evening I got to enjoy many beautiful sunsets as the sun went behind the mountain and with all the palm trees I got some amazing pictures. I had a couple small issues while I was there, nothing to complain about just two minor things that were looked after immediately by Kirk the host. The bed was beyond comfortable, it was amazing, I slept so good every night.and the rest of the place was nicely furnished just like in the pictures. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone that is looking for a good location, close to amenities, on a golf course, gated and safe. Thank you Kirk for the use of your property for two weeks and I hope I can make it back again in the not too distant future and if this is available I would gladly book it again.

Nice stay

Great rental property, great amenities, & good location. I would definitely stay here again. Side note for those who like to sleep in, they start doing landscaping outside almost every morning before 7am so you will not be able to sleep past that time unless you are a very deep sleeper and can ignore the lawnmowers and weed wackers as it is super loud.
