Cozy 2 bed home with good views of the lake through the abundant trees surrounding the house. Enjoy the birds, blue skies, peace and quiet from having a private setting and a fenced yard.
Relax in the large hot tub overlooking Zephyr Cove beach or enjoy all the amenities that the Casinos and Heavenly provides for winter and summer fun that are only about 3 miles away. Stream your favorite movie or stay connected with work and get online with our High Speed Wireless Internet.
The home has tiled floors in the entry, kitchen/dining area and bathroom. Washer and dryer and all other appliances are available. Fully equipped to ensure you and your family and friends will have a memorable experience.
Enjoy quality linens and bedding in our bedrooms. Master has 1 Queen Bed, Bedroom 2 has Queen bed.
Parking for 2 cars max. Perhaps 3 in a pinch.
Pets welcome ONLY after discussion with owner.
Minimum stay 29 days so share with family and friends. Priced accordingly.
Please note:
Smart TV only (no cable) If you cannot navigate a Smart TV this is probably not the place for you.
Winter guidance: All roads into Tahoe MAY require AWD, 4WD and or chains. My road is quite steep and could also require you to park at the bottom of the road and hike up despite the road being maintained on during the odd weather event (rare but it can happen)
Children guidance: Balcony is high off the road so if they insist on climbing rails it will not be safe. I make no claims that the house is child proof.
Digital nomads welcome. Can adjust price for length of stay. I love repeat guests and will discount. Please note that while we make every effort to maintain the property and make timely repairs we are unable to guarantee that nothing will ever go wrong or break. Just like at your house, stuff can happen. When it does we try to repair as soon as we can to ensure you still have a great vacation.

Daleen is a great host and the property was just as described. She was super communicative and offered us suggestions for activities. She responded almost immediately to any text. The property was comfortable and had a great view of Tahoe. We will definitely stay here again when Tahoe.

Location had a beautiful view in a quiet neighborhood. The house was clean and well stocked. We loved the view of the lake, and the cozy space. We relaxed in the living room morning and night watching TV. Not far from South Lake Tahoe or other way Sand Harbor to Paddleboard, and even Carson City just over the hill. Beds comfy. Would stay again on our next trip to Tahoe. The roads can be a bit confusing and tight to maneuver, but after you do it a few times its easier. Not a big issue for smaller vehicles.

This property was the perfect place for my family! The views were gorgeous, kitchen was well equipped, and the furniture was very comfortable. The blankets are the softest and perfect for getting cozy on the couch to watch something on the big TV in the living room! The host was very accommodating, too. We got the first snow of the season and she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, including coming out to help shovel the drive so that we could safely leave the next day. A short drive to most things in the area, it's a very luxurious and private upgrade to staying in the hotel casinos whether you're in town for business or sightseeing.

This was a great home and location for us to spend the week. It was quiet, clean, with well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the deck and hottub. The host was accommodating and quick to respond to all our questions.

The setting of this property is absolutely beautiful because you see the lake just beyond the trees on the balcony. I've never been to Tahoe but staying here made it such a great experience. I would wake up, make my coffee and look up to see the lake and the horizon, then go outside to sit on the balcony and enjoy it event more. The home itself was also more elegant than I expected, and that was a welcome surprise. My daughter and husband and our pooch really loved it, it was a wonderful get away and close to everything. We honestly made all of our meals and barely left because it was so nice. I highly, highly recommend. Sincerely, the Brahinsky's

The location was absolutely beautiful and the view was gorgeous. Daleen is a star! Such a welcoming and accommodating host and did everything she could to help our stay be perfect! I don't think you could ask for a better host, honestly. Super responsive, helpful, has great recommendations, and so friendly. I really appreciated how sweet she was with my kids and dog when she stopped by to fix the TV for us. The home was so comfortable, the bed was the best thing at the end of a long day playing at the lake, the kitchen perfect and stocked well for feeling right at home. The driveway is small and can technically fit two regular size or small vehicles, but not very comfortably, so be aware of that. Also backing up into the driveway isn't necessarily easy as you have to back up a fairly steep hill to get there. BUT, despite that difficulty, this home is perfectly situated to easily get to all the best parts of Lake Tahoe in a reasonable amount of time. There's also free beach parking after 5pm within 5 minutes drive! Just perfect. One thing to note is the hot water sometimes has issues due to the elevation so you might have to go rest it in the laundry room, but once we got familiar with that it was super easy and only a mild inconvenience. Daleen let us know all about it beforehand and gave thorough instructions on what to do if it happened. The hot tub had fresh water for us and was perfectly heated for us to relax in after our long drive out to Zephyr Cove.

Bad location, oven did not work, fridg would not keep ice cream frozen, dirty dishes in the cupboard, difficult tv operation and bad driveway to turn into.

We had a good stay there in this Tahoe home. Very prompt communication from the owner about the few minor issues we had while there. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with everything we needed to cook, including spices and cooking oils, and the small bbq worked well. Nice views of the lake from the deck and the hot tub. The tub was too hot for us, but it was nice to have. The beds were very comfortable and it was great having the fans! We could have used a few extra pillows that were softer than the ones on the queen bed. Nice big screen TV, and very close to lots of activities too.I was a bit nervous with my dogs on the deck because there's no extra guardrails or fencing besides the middle rail and it is a huge drop-off, so be aware of that, but our little dogs did fine. Turning left onto the street to the house from Hwy 50 was a bit dangerous with traffic driving so fast, almost got hit twice since we had to stop before trying to turn and the road curves in both directions!

Great getaway!

We enjoyed our stay here. Daleen (DD) is a very accommodating and responsive host. She made sure we had what we needed and responded quickly to any inquiries we had during our stay. The location of this home is perfect...close enough to town, but yet far enough away. Views are beautiful and a very serene setting. Our dogs were welcome here and DD even had beds and bowls for them. I was a little nervous with them on the deck because there's no extra guardrails besides the middle rail, so be aware of that, but our dogs did fine. I'm just a nervous Nelly. The home was equipped with all the kitchen cookware and dishes we needed to make our meals during our stay, hot showers, clean linens and beds were comfortable. Overall, place was clean. There's a grill available to use as well as washer and dryer, if needed. The photos and description of this listing were on par. We'll definitely look to book again if this one is open next time we visit Tahoe!

A Great Weekend Getaway

From start to finish, our stay was great! Easy check in and check out. Accommodations were nice. Location great. And DD was a good host. Very responsive and helpful. House is close to downtown and to several public beach locations. Lots to do! Josie was clean and perfect for our family and our dogs. Will definitely staying here again for future Tahoe trips!

Great Location

Stayed in summertime. Very clean. Great views. Safe neighborhood. Close to lots of fun lake activities. Prompt communication from owner about the few minor concerns we had while there. Kitchen fully stocked. Not baby proof, but okay for older children. Thank you DD!

Beautiful views and perfect location

We absolutely loved our stay here and would book again in a heartbeat. The pictures do not do it justice at all! There are beautiful views from almost every room, the hot tub and huge private deck. We cooked lots of meals and the home had everything we needed and way more. The location is absolutely perfect - close to the restaurants and events of South Lake but still remote and tucked away. It’s extremely spacious and beautiful.
