A newly built villa with 6 air conditioned bedrooms & 4 bathrooms within a short walking distance to the supermarket and the popular Jan Thiel Beach.

The villa has several private shaded terraces, two fully equipped kitchens, both with ceramic stove, microwave-oven, dish washers and refrigerators The 2 master bedrooms with a double bed, have a private spacious bathroom with toilet and rain-shower. The other four bedroom share two spacious bathrooms with rain shower and toilet.

Private free secured parking and free internet.

The villa is located at 200 meters from Jan Thiel beach with plenty of restaurants, shops, casino and beach bars.

With the exception of the Christmas Season the base rental rate is for 4 bedrooms. The 5th and 6th bedroom are available at an additional fixed rate per night. For stays longer than 10 nights a mid term cleaning service with fresh bed linnen and (beach) towels is required.
Extra costs is 150 euros

Water consumption is included in the rental price. In addition, 15 kW of electricity per bedroom per day is included. With normal usage, you will remain well within this limit. Additional consumption is possible at a rate of €0.60 per kW

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful house. The location is a perfect walk to zest beach with a couple restaurants and bar. There is also a small store an easy walk away.

Casa Maria was a great location for our group of friends. Having the amenities down the block -- restaurants, beach, grocery store, casino -- gave everyone plenty of options if they didn't want to go far. The house was perfectly set up for a larger group with two kitchens and two living areas. The only drawbacks were the downstairs bathrooms weren't air conditioned and there was no clothes drier, but those were a minor inconveniences. The kitchen could have used a couple more spatulas. The management company was excellent. Very friendly and responsive. The house was clean and the outdoor areas were perfect. Overall, an excellent vacation! Thank you!

50th Birthday Celebrations

This house was perfect for all the family to be comfortable. The pool was refreshing to have available when we were at the house. Walking distance to grocery store, beach and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay in Curaçao

Our group of 10 enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor space every morning and evening (except for the insane amount of mosquitos). What was especially nice was the location! We really liked having so much to do within walking distance (bars/restaurants, grocery store, shops, and beach).

Spring Break

Had a wonderful time. The property is perfect for families and friends to get together. There is so much room and space it was amazing. We loved how close it was to the beach and walkable to restaurants and a grocery store. The process was so easy to check in and out, can’t recommend this place enough.

...even better in person!!

The location of this property is perfect! Walking distance to the beach, groceries, restaurants and more. We rented a car so we could drive into Willemstad and Mambo Beach (about 15 minutes away depending on traffic). The property is even better in person than the photos show - with lots of room for everyone to be together or find time apart.

Amazing

The property was very clean and close walk to beach and restaurants. We were seven adults and had ample room. The pool was great to cool off in. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed and the bbq was used daily. We rented a car and drove to a couple of other beaches but our favorite beach was Jan Thiel.

Great location great home

The property was very nice wish it had more bigger windows facing the pool. At the time I was there there was a lot of mosquitoes in the yard even during the day, but they said it was because we had lots of rain which I agree.

40th Birthday Trip

Rented this house for a group of 10 traveling for a 40th birthday celebration and it couldn't have been better. House was simple and clean, had a beautiful back yard and plenty of space for all of us with everything we needed. Quick walk to a grocery store which was great and an easy walk to the Jan Thiel beach area. Would recommend this house and location to anyone traveling Curacao. Had a fantastic time.

Wonderful House!

This is a very spacious & clean house with a wonderful owner, Dennis! We rented all 6 bedrooms for 10 of us for 10 nights & had a ton of space to have fun together but also “get away” for a little bit when we needed to. The pool and back area are large & we spent a lot of time out back having a blast with pool volleyball tournaments & just relaxing. Check-in was very easy with nice gifts left from the owners & we felt at home right away. The neighborhood is very safe & everyone we met was very kind. I highly recommend this villa & would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!!

Exceptional!

We just got back from an 8-day vacation in beautiful Curaçao. There were a total of 10 adults, and this six bedroom house accommodated everyone very comfortably. The house and property are impeccably maintained--we especially loved the back yard and pool area. The owners Guy and Conny (who live two houses away) warmly welcomed us and provided us with their contact information in case of any questions or problems. A small grocery store and Jan Thiel beach are within walking distance, just down the road. We spent a lot of time exploring the island (Grote Knip beach is our favorite!), and this property served as a wonderful home base.

Beautiful Villa in Jan Thiel

We enjoyed our vacation in Jan Thiel at this beautiful home. The house is spacious and the outdoor living space, including a large pool, was such a great place to hang out and enjoy evening dinners. The house is very nice but was missing a few essentials in the kitchen. We were surprised to learn that the main part of the house is not air conditioned. AC is only in the bedrooms. It was 90 degrees for our entire 2 week stay. The main part of the house was hot.

Hi Todd, thank you for taking the time to review our property. I am happy you and your famly had a great time on the island and liked our villa. Most (if not all) villas on the island offer airconditioned bedrooms. The climate in the other rooms including living room are dependant on the wind breezing through the areas. In summer time guests can experience warm temperatures inside. To enjoy some cooler temperatures the villa offers two outside seating areas with ceiling fans to make sure there is sufficient wind. We hope to welcome you again in the (near) future Todd. You were wonderful guests.

The house was lovely and communication with the host and affiliates was a seamless process. The VRBO listing was not exactly accurate-the listing advertised a hottub, dryer and toilet paper. There wasn't a hottub, dryer and the toilet paper was 1 roll per bathroom and we were renting for the week. The pillows in the beds were not great-when we asked about additional pillows we were told that there are 2 pillows per bed and no additional pillows available. This was very disappointing as it made sleeping quite uncomfortable. We had a catered dinner one night and the house was perfect for this. The kitchens, plethora of dishes and the beautiful table outside made for a very enjoyable experience. The house was walking distance to some great restaurants and beaches. On the third day our shower stopped draining. We contacted the local contact as recommended by the host. They acted quickly and sent their handyman. He proceeded to empty 2 containers of Draino which did nothing. I reached back out to the contact person to explain the situation and was told that he wasnt able to make it back for the rest of our week. When using the bathroom sink the shower would bubble and gurgle and omit a sewer-like odor for the rest of our stay. This was very disappointing-we had to shower downstairs for the remainder of the week -now 4 people sharing a shower. Overall the house was very nice, but we did return home disappointed.

Prima huis

Prima huis. Huis was echter niet gereed op de aangegeven tijd en zwembad was vies. Nogal wat gebreken, zoals kapotte airco, vaatwasmachine, kluisje, toegangspoort defect bbq geen slang. Die worden wel opgelost. Maar nogal wat onderbrekingen voor reparaties. Bbq 3 dagen niet te gebruiken. Jammer van zo'n mooi huis. Had dit niet verwacht.

Zoals het Engelse spreekwoord klinkt 'When it rains it pours' vielen een aantal gebreken in dezelfde week samen. We hebben deze gebreken zo snel als mogelijk verholpen.We hebben contact opgenomen met ons zwembad man om te zien wat er mis gegaan is. Excuses voor de kleine gebreken Jan, we hopen dat jullie desondanks een fijn verblijf hebben gehad.

Mooi, ruim en modern huis

We hebben genoten van het heerlijke huis en geweldige zwembad. Fijne faciliteiten zoals de 4 badkamers, voldoende handdoeken en strandlakens voor het zwembad. Ook veel servies en ruim keuken apparatuur. Heel rustig gelegen maar je loopt zo naar Jan Thiel! Het was fantastisch!

Geweldig huis/ great home

Super mooie plek. Lokatie is echt heel goed. Loopafstand naar supermarkt en strand, duikshops, restaurantjes en winkeltjes. Zwembad is ongeveer 1.60m, speeltjes aanwezig in washok. Strand handdoeken zijn aanwezig. Keuken is voorzien van alle kookgerei om lekkere maaltijden te maken. Badkamers zijn voorzien van fijne douche en twee grote handdoeken per persoon. Nieuwe overkapping buiten is heerlijk om onder te zitten. Grote tafel voor maaltijden en spelletjes. Contact met beheerder was prima. Er is een discrepantie tussen de informatie die we vooraf kregen over en tussentijdse schoonmaak. Er waren ook verschillende nummers die we kregen voor verbruik van eke elektriciteit. Met de airconditioning alleen 's nachts aan bleven we netjes onder de 40 kW. Super nice place. Location is wonderful. Walking distance from supermarket, beach, dive shops, restaurants and little shops. Swimming pool is about 5 ft deep, pool toys available in the laundry room. Beach towels available. Kitchen has all the tools you need to make a nice home cooked meal Bathrooms have nice showers and two big towels per person. New shade on the backyard of wonderful to sit and has a huge table to enjoy meals together or play games with groups. Communication with local manager was great. There was a small disconnect between information we got ahead of time concerning cleaning in between. And different numbers concerning electricity use. With all of us using AC just at night we stayed under 40kWatt per day.

Great Stay!

This villa is as good as advertised. The backyard is awesome and allows for small groups to have a great time. The owners are awesome and own multiple properties in the area, makes it ideal If you have a large group!
