Great place to stay when visiting Destin for a beach vacation!

This condo provided me and my friends with the perfect location for our beach trip. Being right on the beach was exactly what we wanted, and the pool and hot tub were amazing! The number of bedrooms and baths was great (I wish there was one more of each for a future trip we plan to make!). Having a full kitchen was so helpful, and the patio overlooking the ocean was WONDERFUL!

Family Vacation

The condo was very nice. The only problem we had was not having wristbands. I texted about them and was told there was a order put in but we never received them. The office at Jade East gave us some that we had to return to them when we left. Without them, you couldn’t go to the beach or pool.

Wonderful time!

The property was perfect for us. My husband and I booked the condo for us and our 3 daughters, 2 with husbands and 1 grand daughter and we all loved it. Having the 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths & plenty of space was perfect. The weather wasn't quiet what we hoped but Destin had plenty to keep us busy and the heated pool was great for my granddaughter! Everything was as described and no surprises. Might add a couple more kitchen towels & kitchen rags and a mop. My husband spilled a coke and we had to use a towel to get it up. Other than that it was perfect and sooooo enjoyed! It was our 27th Wedding Anniversary trip! Thanks for sharing your home with us! We would definitely book again!

Beautiful View

The condo is perfect for a family and a beach stay. The view is great! The codes we were given for entry into the condo and the beach were incorrect and did not get updated or work while we were there. There was not anyone on site to speak to about this issue, so we had to text Southern Vacation Rentals about the problems. Since the door code did not work, we had to leave the condo unlocked everyday while we were out. There are 3 elevators on the property. We were there 4 days. Two days, only 1 elevator worked which means we had to wait a long time to use the elevator. One day (checking out day), ALL of the elevators were out of commission for at least 2 hours. Being on the 12th floor meant we had to wait & hope the repairs were quick because we had two people who could not walk down the stairs. Other than the issues with the elevators and the door & gate codes, the condo was great.

Disappointing

There were 8 of us staying here. Check in was fine. Two days before our arrival I was told one of the showers /tubs did not work. We were given a 15% discount. Upon arrival the place appeared to be OK. Nothing amazing. Really needs some repair. The plantation shutters are all broken. The bunk bed room was not comfortable at all. We went and purchased a mattress for one of them. For two days the ceiling fell off in our food while cooking. The master shower was not cleaned well at all. The pictures of this place were not accurate I even asked before we rented if the place was in good condition and I was told yes. The furniture on the porch is different than in the pictures but it was fine. It was a great location but had I been told /shown about the tub, ceiling, matresses before we rented I would not have. The real estate company handling accommodation was responsive but clearly the owner did not care what condition of the place was. I would not stay here again.

Condo has good bones but needs some attention

We have vacationed at the Jade East for over 20 years and love the property and condo styles. The condo was clean but needed some repair attention. The master closet light was corroded and we could not see well to access our clothing. We were not provided the enough bracelets for our occupancy and lost a full day of pool/beach waiting for management to deliver the bracelets. The closet light was reported on day 1 and never addressed or acknowledged. Our condo was for occupancy of 10, we had family from 3 different states meeting up for our long awaited summer vacation but we were only allowed 2 parking spots. The lot was half full every evening but yet we had to leave a car parked in a public space. We would have been happy to pay for the additional parking which might have generated revenue to help with the maintenance of the property. There was a rat that ran through the pool area many times during the week. When I reported the siting to the onsite staff the response was that the rat is nested in their pool storage. This is such a great property and we have ALWAYS experienced top class accommodations but this trip was a much different experience. I am hopeful this honest feedback can help with bringing our much loved Jade East back to great accomomdation/service it has offered in the past.

Great trip

Had a great time with family and friends. Love the location and the pool. BBQ grills were a plus. Lots of room and beautiful deck.

Perfect spot!

This rental was in perfect location of all the restaurants and shops we visited while in destin. It is directly on the beach, so that is always a plus! It was very clean and tidy and the view from the balcony was great! The only downside to our stay was that the middle shower was not working (the spouts and handles were removed) so we were short a tub/shower. We booked it so we could have our own bathrooms so that was a slight bummer but it really didn’t make a big difference in our stay at all! Overall I would definitely suggest this condo! Very beautiful!
