Great family trip

The condo is a great spot for a family vacation. Being able to open the patio door and hear the ocean was so relaxing.

We will definitely rent this one again!

Our unit had the perfect accommodations for our party of 6. Beds were very comfortable, which is sometimes hard to come by. Having 3 full baths and a washer and dryer was great as well. We will definitely rent this one again!

Fabulous Views and a Clean, Comfortable Condo

We loved this condo! Fabulous views from the large windows that spanned the dining and living areas. The windows and balcony wrapped around on this corner unit from the east to the south side providing lots of views and light. The condo was clean and beds and furniture were comfortable. The Seagull condo building was well maintained and the pool was refreshing and cool.

Beachfront Views

The view alone is breathtaking and worth the stay. Very comfortable place enough room for our family and all the kiddos got their own beds which is always a plus.

Great location!

Overall it was a very nice condo. The location was great, with great views and sounds of the ocean. The condo was nicely appointed and check in/out was easy. We really appreciated having 3 bedrooms and bathrooms right on the beach. Would rent again!

Great Getaway

Condo was clean, in good condition, and well equipped. We loved the great views of the sunrise, easy beach access, and private pool. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and have family dinners. Zero headaches and a great trip to the island!

Great location for the beach!!

We had a wonderful trip to SPI for a family gathering and the condo worked out very well. Bedrooms and baths were clean, well stocked and comfortable. The deck was delightful to sit out on and hear the waves while drinking our coffee. Good security and easy to access. We would recommend this unit. And the property management had excellent communication and easy to work with.

Beautiful view

Beautiful view of the ocean, clean rooms, comfortable beds. Kid friendly. Easy walk to beach. I wonder if the staff could find a way to work on the gurgling noise of the hot tub, but it wasn't too bad. I would have liked to hear only the ocean and not that sound, but the rest of the area was quiet and peaceful.

we had the best time!!! the condo was perfect!!!! loved the short walk to the beach, the view from our deck, the swimming pool and hot tub...everything was very clean. Everything we needed was supplied...We will be back. The ocean is already calling us.

We stay at SPI often. Needless to say we will notbe returning to this one. The condo itself was fine, but it does need renovations. Furniture and rugs are shabby. There are no significant window treatments in the living room and dining area so do not expect any privacy from the adjacent beach access. Also, because of this, it feels really warm and there are no vents in that area so it started feeling cool until late evening. Another disappointment was that kids’ bedroom with the bunk beds does not have a tv. Kids wanted to relax after the beach and had be sharing a tv with the adults in the living room. It was a big fail. Parking was a big deal also. Only one space per condo. We had two cars so it was very stressful looking for a public parking space, even one at a distance, especially in the summer. No umbrella, beach chairs, nor beach towels available in the condo. And no umbrellas can be rented behind those condos so we had to go out and purchase one and chairs. To top it all off we saw about 5 small roaches throughout our stay. The view was great and the size was comfortable, but for the price it should be more high end like others in its price range.

Guests receive information prior to arrival with instructions on how to reserve beach chairs, umbrellas, and other equipment using their included credit. We apologize if that information was overlooked or unclear. Regarding parking, the condominium association provides one assigned parking space per unit. This information is included in both the property descriptions before booking and in the rental agreement so guests can plan accordingly. Condo was great. Only thing was the outside lights were off a lot, so coming back after dark was difficult. We kept having to call about it.

Above Average

We really appreciate the beautiful Condo we were able to stay in. You can tell they take pride in this home. The only 2 things that wasn't great was the Dishwasher didn't really clean and the Wash machine only gave us like a quarter full of Water in the tub. But still would go back for sure. Thank you for letting us rent it for the week.

our vacation

. It suited my family ok, except the bunks bed were to small for adults, good for only little children. i was thinking about having a better view of the beach. maybe the one from the 3rd or 4th floor. Will be glad to tell other people about it.

Wonderful thanksgiving break

We had a wonderful time with our family at this beautiful condo. Great location. Comfortable living room to relax with the whole family. Great size dining table. Love being able to see and hear the ocean while making special thanksgiving meals. The host was excellent with accommodating and responding to questions quickly. We definitely will be back. The last day when we had to move out, the elevator broke down so that was a little tough for our elderly parents. Other than that, we had a lovely time. Thank you!!

No beach umbrella rentals in front of Seagull condos

This is a really nicely remodeled condo, and SPI Rentals was polite and responsive. However, the Seagull condo complex apparently does not allow beach umbrella/chair rental companies on the beach in front of the complex, so we had to walk down the beach quite a ways to the next spot that had a permit for umbrella rentals, which was a pain with 3 little kids and a bunch of gear. We talked to every umbrella rental company on island and SPI Rentals themselves to verify this. And the beach in front of Seagull was not less crowded or anything as a result. Our family has stayed in Padre for ~40 years at many different condos and we have never experienced this anywhere else. We would not stay here again for that reason alone.

Seagull 203

We stayed in Seagull 203 for three days and wish we had stayed longer. The building was peaceful with kind patrons living and vacationing in the building. The building was secure and the reserved parking made it effortless to come and go. The room was great with a fabulous ocean view. The room was clean and equipped with anything we could need. As with any review, it's all a matter of preference and what is important to you. It may not be the perfect place for everyone but it was the perfect place for us. Excellent beach access was a huge plus for us as the family could come and go as we pleased. The bunk beds were quite small so we didn't use them. Perhaps a full or queen size bed would work better than the bunk beds but ít didn't negatively impact our stay, we still enjoyed the room very much and will stay here every time we visit SPI! Sure there are nicer places to stay and worse places to stay. There are cheaper and more expensive places to stay on the island so take this review for what it is, an honest opinion of one family's stay. We prefer this place over many other hotels we stayed at on the island but that's also because we prefer the home feeling.

Perfect beach condo

All the updating here was so pretty, loved the tile in the bathrooms! Looks just like the pictures. Nice big dining and living area so our family of 5 could all eat dinner together then lounge on the couch at night for movies. Loved that it's an end unit with all the windows and a wrap around deck. Great place for coffee in the morning watching the sunrise! It's right next to the beach access which was super convenient. They don't have any beach accessories so we had to rent those. Would have been nice to at least have beach towels. We had to buy those at Walmart and try to stuff them in our luggage to get them home. The beds were comfortable, the pillows were not and we loved having a bathroom for every room. Two of the rooms were dark as they don't have a window but our kids stayed in those rooms and didn't care much. If staying with other couples may be something to consider. Could've been a little bit cleaner. Found hair on the floors in the bathrooms and one of the bunk beds had dirty sheets. Kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans, dishes and even nice wine glasses but there's absolutely no spices. They leave you a little welcome set of salt/pepper and oil but that's it. We didn't cook much besides breakfast and one dinner so we just picked up some extra salt from the grocery store. Overall we loved our stay here and would stay again if we came back.
