Forget your troubles and make your way to this charming 3-bedroom, 2-bath vacation rental apartment in South Padre Island! This well-lit and open retreat provides plenty of space for entertainment for you and your family, a kitchen for preparing breakfast before heading to the beach, and access to a few community pools, making it the perfect home away from home! With 2 king beds and 2 queens, this unit can sleep up to 8 guests! A fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, beach towels, and beach chairs are included.
IMPORTANT: Upon booking our property, you will receive a request to complete and sign our rental agreement. The principal booker must provide specific information required by our Safely insurance. Please note that a light background check will be conducted by Safely on behalf of our beach real estate investment.
You are booking a private beach home. As much as we like to please your every need, we do not work as hotels do. We are not a 24/7 service. Any overnight requests, other than REAL emergencies, will be look after the next day. If there is an emergency that threatens a persons life, please call 911.
VAYK GEAR is a premier BEACH Equipment Rental Company offering top-of-the-line gear for your perfect beach day. You may receive an email from them regarding a credit from Blue Ocean Vacation Rentals for the rental of your preferred beach equipment. Visit their website to select from a wide range of high-quality beach gear to make the most of your beach getaway.
Please know that this resort will charge for wristbands for anyone between ages of 10 and 32 during the month of March/April to control access to the property during Spring Break and Holy Week. They cost $25 each and will be charged at the entrance by security.
The owners of Saida IV #306 welcome you to their beach home! While staying here, we ask that you follow a few requests that will make everyone’s stay more enjoyable and keep the property looking good year after year.
1. Parking ~ is limited to 2 vehicles. Vehicles must be licensed, operable and registered to the occupants. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the owners’ expense.
2. Occupancy ~ Maximum capacity per unit is NO MORE than 8 guests. There must be at least one adult 25 years of age or older, registered, present and residing in the unit through the duration of the tenancy.
3. Wheelchair accessible is for standard door front entrance and elevator only.
4. Pets ~ Dogs are welcome with a required $100/ per dog non-refundable cleaning fee. Access to property will not be permitted until payment is collected. The knowledge or trace of unauthorized pets will mean a fine of $400.
5. Noise ~ Loud noise of any sort; music, loud talking, boom boxes, etc. is not allowed.
6. Garbage and Tidiness ~ Garbage should all be disposed or either in the dumpster located on the ground floor or parking lot of the building. Please DO NOT dispose of cigarette butts, cans, candy wrappers, trash on the ground. We work hard to make certain the property looks good when you check in. Please help us keep it that way by picking up any litter before you leave.
7. Pool ~ Please wash ALL sand from your body BEFORE entering our pool. The pool equipment cannot handle sand from the beach and causes damage and equipment failure. Please DO NOT leave your children unattended and observe pool hours.
8. BBQ ~ BBQ pit is not included.
9. Once booked, we will send a custom Rental Agreement for you to complete and send back to us. Without this agreement we will not be able to host you.
10. The guard at the entrance of the resort will charge $25/pp plus tax, ages 10-32, for the use of wristbands during the month of March "Spring Break" and Holy Week.
Blue Ocean Vacation Rentals provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 2 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, 4-6 coffee pods and and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.
Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess. Stained towels/linens will be charged.
Do not hang towels from the balcony or windows. A $100 fine may be applied if you break this rule.
Subletting not allowed.
Note: The owners of this property will allow Spring Breakers under the strict rules of the premises. Break the rules and be evicted without a refund.
Check in is easy and available 24 hours a day with a smart lock on the entrance door.
The smart keypad door code will be provided to the guest about 48-24 hours before arrival.
Hosts will be available for check-in assistance up until 10 pm, we ask that guests arriving late please let us know via text.
Service Animals need to be with the person they service 24/7. Service Animals cannot be left alone in the property. A service animal left alone in the property is not a service animal and will be penalized with a $400 fee.
Child's highchair & pack & play on request at $25/each, billed on a separate invoice.
You are booking a private beach home. As much as we like to please your every need, we do not work as hotels do. We are NOT a 24/7 service. Date changes might be granted depending on the date of the change for a $100 change fee plus any difference in price.
Cancellations for nightly reservations will receive a 96% refund if they are made more than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date. Please note that a service fee of $25 will also be charged for all cancellations, regardless of the timing. There will be no refund if the cancellation comes is made. This policy does not extend to bookings that are eligible for monthly discounts.
The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 8 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights.

We had a great family vacation! The location was easy and close to everything. Rod and Rosa were quick to get back to us with any questions we had. The condo was great for 5 adults and we would definitely stay here again!

Excellent stay
This condo was beautiful and spacious and had everything we needed. I especially loved that we received credit to rent supplies on the beach- my kids loved playing with their boogie boards! It was great to have several pools on the property, and I appreciated how close we were to the beach. We'd be happy to stay here again!

Relaxing and Enjoyable!
Really enjoyed this nice three-bedroom condo and really like the secure property, pools and short walk to the beach. This was our second time staying here and chose the same one during our 2023 vacation because we liked it so much. The beach rental credit was very much appreciated and added a lot of value! We stayed longer this time and had a wonderful and relaxing vacation week. We experienced some new things like surfing and even included a visit to the large Brownsville Zoo and Space-X. We'll be back again soon!

We had a great time !! Everything was cleaned , questions answered right away. We enjoyed our stay , condo was perfect for our big family. Plenty of room for everyone. Pool was great the beach access was really nice to have !! Definitely will stay here again ! And absolutely recommend!

Perfect family getaway.
Enjoyed staying here during our South Padre vacation. The condo was very spacious and accommodated our needs. The property is beautiful and the kids enjoyed the pool when we weren’t at the beach. The tennis courts were a hit for our teenage kids. And Friday evening we had the perfect view of the firework show that was lit from the beach. Great location for restaurants and the HEB that is right across the causeway.

First Family Get Away
We had the best time at this property! The condo was clean and all the accommodations were very accurate as posted online. This was my kids and I first vacation as a new family of three. Pet Friendly Clean Nice furnishings Everything you need!!!
This condo is wonderful! Never saw one bug. It is so dog friendly and roomy. The owners have thought of everything including standing fans in all of the bedrooms that are wonderful! Spices in the kitchen. Easy to cook and serve a meal with a large comfortable dining set. Wet bar! A view of the pool tennis and the ocean. It is very functional and we will be back!

Needs improvement
When we arrived the unit smelled so bad we almost left. We spent time and money cleaning out the rank garbage disposal that was the source of the problem. The shower in the Jack and Jill bathroom room was just a trickle. We all used the master bathroom h shower. After day four the master bad smelled like sewer gas and every time we used the sinks. I believe the problem is the flexible drain pipe they used for traps, which is against plumbing code in most States. Also, the pipe ce make on the refrigerator do a not work.
The unit could be really nice with some maintenance.

Hello Tony, We realize these reviews are subjective and depend on each individual experience. Your 3* review came as a surprise because the very first morning after your arrival we sent an email/text saying the following:
"We hope you had a safe and comfortable trip and an easy arrival! We do our best to make sure you have a 5-star stay and hope we've not missed anything but if we did, please let us know so we can handle it quickly for you. If during your stay, something breaks or you need additional support, please text us and our team will respond as fast as possible." You were fast to report that the door glass had been cracked but otherwise we heard nothing else back from you. If you were uncomfortable about something, that was your best timing to ask us, not that you waited until after you left to let us know when we can do anything to solve the issues. About the pipe smell, we are not sure because we don't live in the unit and no one else has complained about anything like that. Regarding the water coming from the fridge door, it is mandated by the HOA that we turn it off to avoid leaks to lower units. Nevertheless, we thank you for coming to visit us and for taking the time to write your review. We hope you can come back to us at Blue Ocean Vacation Rentals - SPI when you get the chance. Fantastic Family Getaway with Great Amenities
We had a wonderful stay at Rod & Rosa’s condo from Tuesday to Sunday with a group of seven. The condo was perfect for us, with three spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The dining table and barstools accommodated everyone comfortably, and the kitchen had all the necessities for cooking, along with a full-size fridge that was ideal for our large group. The patio offered a pleasant view, with partial ocean views as well as views of the pool and tennis courts. We especially enjoyed the mostly shaded patio.
Rod was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, quickly addressing any questions or concerns we had. The condo was well-equipped with a beach buggy and chairs, saving us the hassle of bringing our own.
The facility itself was top-notch. The pools were cleaned daily, and beach access was easy and convenient. We appreciated the on-site security, which was available 24/7 as advertised. The tennis courts were in great shape and an added bonus to our stay. The elevators and carts made loading and unloading a breeze, especially with the amount of stuff we had. Quiet time was enforced, which made for a peaceful environment—especially important for families with kids. The Friday night firework show was a delightful surprise, with the perfect viewing spot just outside the condo's beach access.
For future renters, the local Walmart and HEB are both conveniently located for groceries and supplies. We highly recommend taking a sandcastle-building, golf and fishing!

Perfect and relaxing Beach Vacation
The condo had everything we needed for our vacation with a full complement of cookware and small appliances. This had three bedrooms, so we all had our own rooms. Two of the rooms had queen size beds and the third bedroom had two bunk beds for 4 kids. Great place for couples with or without kids, or a family with a mix of small children and teenagers. This condo had 4 wicker kitchen counter stools and nice dining table that seated six. Master Bedroom overlooking pool had nice size Smart TV in it and even larger one in living room area. The 2nd bedroom also had a nice small adjustable height reading/writing table included in it. I thought the wine cooler in the main area added a nice touch with all the glasses included. We really spent much of our time exploring the South Padre Island and the many activities it has to offer. Our favorite breakfast was at the Signature Grill (great low prices) right over Causeway on left in Port Isabel. Our favorite family activity was the 90 min Isla Dolphin Watch tour that was only $20 per person and worth every penny. The captain's narration and knowledge about the Dolphins, Marina and Gulf during the cruise really made it fun for everyone. It was great to see the dolphins up close while swimming and jumping out of the water. We capped off our vacation with an all you can eat Seafood buffet at Louie's Backyard and saw a beautiful sunset over the Marina (flashes of pink as sun set). This is right across from Gravity Park with go-karts and reverse Bungee and Giant Swing (great for kids a little older). Great time and wish we could have stayed longer! We definitely will be coming back again!
