Our property is smack dab in the middle of one of the most prestigious wine growing regions in Sonoma County - Dry Creek Valley. The First Crush Cottage is just five miles out of the historic, quaint town of Healdsburg. This renovated, charming, modern cottage provides it all.

Spectacular vineyards surround the meticulously landscaped grounds. It offers terrific location and access to some of the best wineries and restaurants in the world.

The cottage is walking distance to wineries and the historic Dry Creek General Store and just six minutes by car to downtown Healdsburg.

Every stay at the First Crush Cottage also includes a complimentary tasting at world renowned winery - Lambert Bridge. This seated tasting will include a flight of Bordeaux wines expertly paired with local cheeses. This experience will take place in the comfort of their redwood barrel room and is hosted by a Lambert Bridge wine educator. The tasting is valid up to four people and reservations are required at least 24 hours advance. The value of this experience is $75 per person.

Enjoy our garden from May to October and help yourself to the complimentary fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs located on the grounds.

Beautifully landscaped several lush outdoor sitting areas. Home is extremely well decorated with all the amenities you could want. Very quiet. We REALLY enjoyed the property and this is our 9th trip to Sonoma County.

Healdsburg 2025

Another wonderful stay at this fabulous VRBO. Clean, comfortable, up-to-date and has everything you need. Yard and outside area are great - wonderful patio, beautiful views and a fabulous garden as well. We always looked forward to returning to relax after a busy day of wine tasting. Kimberly and Nicole are great to deal with. We hope to be back next summer. Thanks again for a great stay.

Cozy Cottage

We had a wonderful stay! The setting was stunning, nestled in the vineyards and the Cottage was very well laid out with comfortable beds and lovely design. One of our guests had such a great time, that she plans to come back with her spouse!

Peaceful Splendor

The peace, serenity, and splendid views of this house are perfect. We had our morning coffee and tea in the back garden listening to birdsongs, surrounded by the private vineyard, and enjoying stunning views of the forested hills bathed in sunshine. Our evening wine was enjoyed outdoors by the fire pit. This cottage is beautifully decorated, comfortable, wonderfully furnished, has a superbly stocked / updated kitchen, and outdoor sitting areas that include an arbor covered deck, and fire pits - one in front yard and the other in back. The host provided timely communications throughout the process and was very gracious in sharing ideas for things to do and places to dine in and around Healdsburg. We have stayed at rentals around the world... this lovely property ranks with the best. Our stay will long be remembered. We hope to book a return stay!

Beautiful place and a wonderful host

My family and I stayed here for the Thanksgiving holiday and had an absolutely wonderful stay. The place is well equipped and very cozy with a wood burning fireplace, beautiful outdoor spaces (including multiple fire pits) and comfortable bedrooms. The host is also amazing - communication before, during and after was easy and included fantastic recommendations. And to top it all off, they even treated my family and I to a complimentary tasting at a local winery. Would definitely recommend!

Love First Crush

The cottage and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous! We loved the way the cottage was decorated, so cozy! Everything was well appointed. There are multiple places on the grounds to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and the scenery. It is the perfect size for two couples. The location is close to downtown Healdsburg, Dry Creek wineries and a five-minute walk to the Dry Creek General Store! Napa is only a little over an hour away. The owners and property manager responded quickly when we had questions. The cottage is well equipped with everything that you need if you were to stay and cook in, but with so many great restaurants in the area, we didn’t bother. Definitely recommend First Crush Cottage and we can't wait to go back!

Lovely month!

We had a wonderful month long stay at First Crush. The cottage had everything we needed, was very clean, and the property manager was helpful and easy to reach. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out in the front yard and eating on the back porch. And, the location was the best! We were out among the vineyards but just a three minute drive from Healdsburg Ave. Our sincere thanks to Kimberley and Nicole for everything.

Great Sonoma Stay

This house is as described on the website. Easy to find and comfortable place to hang. It was very convenient to a few events we had to attend in the Dry Creek area. But not real close to downtown Healdsburg if that was what you are looking for. Very well stocked kitchen. Would return

Fabulous Healdsburg trip

Absolutely wonderful property. Yard is immaculate with great deck and views. House is furnished nicely and every amenity needed was available. Communication with the property manager and owner was outstanding. We are pleased to hear the owner is adding additional air to the second bedroom. This will make the home a 5++ rating! Would definitely return! Thank you for a fabulous stay.

Model Showroom Ready

This property looks like it is a model home, everything is perfect. The neutral colors are soothing, and the furnishings are top notch. The grounds are charming and well tucked away from Dry Creek as to not hear any occasional traffic. All communications by owner and property manager were cordial and professional. This is a keeper on my list of places to stay when in Healdsburg.

Perfect house for a getaway for two couples

We had a fantastic stay in early December, 2023. The house was clean and just as depicted in the listing, and it really was well stocked with everything you need, including firewood. Kimberly was very responsive and we so much appreciate her sharing her home with us, especially since we had a dog with us. We will rent again from her when we are in the area. No need to hesitate if you are looking for a place to stay near Healdsburg. There is even a country store down the road if you need prepared food, wine, groceries or a gift. Enjoy!

Gorgeous weekend in Healdsburg

Had a lovely weekend in wine country enjoying the fall colors and sunshine with dear friends. First Crush Cottage was perfect for two couples. The kitchen was well appointed for the preparation of simple meals and snacks, and we enjoyed coffee/wine/conversation together on the comfortable couch. We built a fire in the fireplace one evening, and It was warm enough to have brunch outside on the deck. Location is great. It's easy to get to the wineries, Dry Creek Market, and into town. We loved the charming property and will be back! Cheers!

Amazing wine country property

This home was perfect for our trip to Sonoma Wine Country. It was in very close proximity to several great wineries and very close to the town of Healdsburg as well. The backyard was magical with fantastic views and the home itself was well appointed and comfortable. Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful Property

Summer at First Crush

We spent 4 weeks at First Crush and could not have been more pleased. The house is beautiful and well equipped. The location is convenient to downtown and to numerous wineries. The outside grounds offer several seating and eating areas and are surrounded by beautiful vineyards. Both the owner and her local property manager were immediately responsive to all our requests. And finally, Healdsburg has it all!

Great wine country house

The house was perfect. Great weeklong stay. We had 2 couples and really enjoyed it. Loved the outdoor firepit which we used every night. Cooked in every night and the kitchen was well stocked and the back porch grill was nice to have. The property manager was very responsive when we ran out of propane one time. She was there in an hour. Loved it and hated to leave. Would definately book again.

A weekend of wine and jazz in lovely Healdsburg

An amazing house with all the amenities of your own home, including the best toiletries. A fresh herb garden right outside the kitchen door, beautiful roses surround the property and an amazing bottle of wine to compliment our evening meal. The added bonus of the complimentary wine tasting at Lambert Bridge was the the cherry on top. I'll definitely be back on my next visit to Healdsburg.

My husband and I purchased the First Crush Cottage as a weekend getaway from our hectic life in San Francisco.

It is the refuge that we go to relax, unwind and exhale. Our girls, who are now grown, spent their childhood exploring the vineyards, canoeing the Russian River and discovering the rich countryside on hikes and bikes.

Over the years, our backyard has been host to a multitude of food and wine feasts with our friends and family. The fond memories are endless and rich.

Twenty years later and we still can't get enough of Healdsburg and our little slice of wine country heaven.
