Plenty of space for my family. Convenient short walk to beach. Love the pools and hot tubs - multiple of each. View was gorgeous! Had to call the host at check in and they answered on the first ring and got checked in quickly and early. Would definitely stay again!

Vacay paradise

This was our first visit to Destin and we made an excellent choice of where to stay! Very convenient to everything including beach, restaurants, water park and shopping. Shoutout to hosts, Mike and Cindy Crawford as they were wonderful people to work with in every aspect!

Great condo!

For once the condo was exactly what we hoped it would be. Updated building, clean pools, top notch security, friendly staff, beautiful view! Walk to the beach wasn't bad at all. Great location. Would definitely stay again!

Nice Condo for Family

Right on beach. Multiple pools which kids loved. Close to shops and food. We loved that it was private/gated which kept the area cleaner and less crowded.

Girls Trip

For a few years we have stayed at pelican beach resort. This year was the first to stay in the Terrace Tower. It has all the amenities and the best locations especially if you’re looking to be close to beach.

Family Get Away

We drove from Missouri to enjoy the beach for a few days. The property was just right. We loved the sense of safety and security on the property. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would go again!

The condo is a great location - a block to the beach and walking distance of restaurants, ice cream and candy shop, a cool sports bar, shops, etc. The condo is wonderfully furnished and probably the best stocked kitchen I’ve experienced in our many rentals. There were ceiling fans in all bedrooms and the living space, great TVs in all rooms, seating for 8 and so forth.

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was in a great location. Our sunset paradise condo had a great view and had lovely decor. Loved our balcony. Pools were nice, but needed some umbrellas. There were no shaded seats to be found. The beach was beautiful. If you bring your own chairs and umbrella be aware you can only set up behind the rented resort chairs. Very far from water if you’re trying to watch your kids. They also rope off each side of rented chairs, which is other properties spaces. Overall, a great place. Our host was pleasant and very informative when communicating. Would definitely come back.

Thank you for your review! We are so glad you enjoyed the balcony view and your stay! When I want to sit at the waters edge during peak season and I havent rented a beach set up, I often sit on a beach mat, raft or boogie board. Hope you come back next year! Cindy

Great Location, Loved it.

Destin has the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. The Terrace is close to everything, the harbor, restaurants, shopping, fresh fish markets, Big Kahunas, the perfect family place and get away for adults. Great pool, new grills, work out room, onsite deli, beach side tiki bar, and beach service during season. The condo itself was wonderful, clean, well equipped with a large balcony to view the fantastic sunsets. We will be back!

It was a good visit

Stay was good room was good. Checking in wasn't good. Owner forgot to make our reservation. But it all worked out thanks too staff.

Fabulous!!!!!

After renting this property last year, my husband and I simply HAD to request the same location for our vacation in May. The condo is very spacious, comfortable, and inviting, and the view is absolutely AMAZING!!!! Everything you could possibly need is so close by--grocery stores, restaurants, family entertainment, and shopping. The beach is wonderful, as is the pool area. Everything is very well-maintained. We will DEFINITELY stay here again...and again!!!!!!!

Softball Destin

My family and kids enjoyed our stay at the condo! At first a little disappointed that we were not right on the ocean, but in the building by the street. Once we got used to the walk to the beach our building was great! The pool and elevators were less crowded and the parking much easier than the big building on the beach. Our condo was perfect for our kids and their friends and we really enjoyed our stay. We will be back to Destin!!

Enjoyed our stay!

T704 was clean, decorated well, and very comfortable for our family of 6 adults. Very short stroll down the path to the beautiful beach. The clear water and soft sand were wonderful. While I hated the cost and having to pre-reserve our beach chairs, I am glad we did it to be near the water and have the convenience of having them ready for us everyday. The Tiki bar was an added bonus for tropical drinks. The only small negative for me personally is I wish there were more walkable waterfront restaurants. I hate traffic and driving around here is very busy. Overall a wonderful trip.

Fun weekend getaway

Beautiful beach and water! The condo was very nice, and we enjoyed the pool area as well. We recommend this unit, and Pelican beach resort.

Great location

Everything was easy to find. Upon arrival check in was super easy and quick. You are just a few minute drive from everything so location is great for that! 5 minute walk to the beach was no big deal we had 2 under 2 and a 3 year old we brought a sand wagon and it was perfect for them. We also rented beach chairs and umbrellas in advance which was super easy. Anytime the kids were to tired to go out to eat they have a great place to eat right off the beach. Everything was clean and the view from the balcony was great as well! Definitely will be going back.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a great review we appreciate it! We came after you left and did a weeks worth of upgrades to the condo. New ceiling fans, 60” TV, painted and papered 2 of the bedrooms as well as some new furniture. Please come back and stay at T704 again soon!

Three bedroom was spacious. The upgraded amenities at the beach where very nice. They now have beach service where you can order drinks and food from your beach chair. The new pool at the Pelican Beach Resort was a major upgrade. I will definitely stay there again.

Pelican Resort Condo stay

Good location as far as restaurant -- but too far from beach when you have toddlers with you. Surprised that the condo was so dated (especially bathrooms, kitchen appliances [front burner on stove did not work] and living room furnishings). Was surprised at the tiny TV's in two of the bedrooms, they were more like computer monitors. Batteries in remotes needed replacing, floor of old tub in one bathroom was badly stained and needed replaced. (I scrubbed and scrubbed when we first arrived trying to get it out) If you stay here, BYOP (bring your own pillows)! The ones supplied were flat (likely from Dollar General). People were not abiding by pool closure time -- very loud until 1-2 in the morning - lots of remodeling and construction going on. And what's with the having to wear resort arm bands 24/7?!!! While owners seem very nice, the price paid for this rental was too high for what we got.

Annie, I agree with you that the TVs in the bedrooms could be bigger, we didn't realize the importance of TV size, at the beach, but we intend to upgrade sizes in August after season. We are sorry you felt the condo is dated, in the last year we replaced the Living room rug, cocktail table, dining table, chairs, the refrigerator and washer dryer stack. We have more upgrades planned for fall when we are open. The pillows are supplied by the Pelican Beach management as well as the sheets and towels. I am a pillow snob, I bring my own down pillow every where I go. Some people prefer a flatter pillow, I have asked around. Last but not least, with the onset of covid the condo management removed all the designer quilts, shams, pillows and rugs to help keep our condo as clean and healthy as possible for your safety. Safety or Charm? Had to make a choice, hopefully not for much longer. If you stay here in the future and your missing batteries, remotes or a burner doesn't work properly please call the front desk, they will schedule a repair. Thanks for staying with us!
