Just Renovated Historic Duplex

There were two mixups here. First, I misread the calendar and expected the guest to arrive the following day. As a result, the unit was not ready until 90 mins after the guest arrived. I apologized profusely for the mistake. Second, the reservation mistakenly showed an 11:00 check-out instead of the usual 10:00. When I knocked at 10:45 and did not get an answer, I assumed the guest had already left and tried to enter. I immediately realized the guest was still there because the door was dead-bolted. I messaged the guest to inquire and she informed me that check-out was 11:00, not 10:00. I replied that I was deeply sorry for my second mistake. Neither of these mix-ups had ever occurred before, and my wife and I have set up a new reservation notification system to ensure they do not ever happen again. Finally, I never entered the guest’s unit. As explained, it was not even possible given the deadbolt. This is a complete fabrication by the reviewer and in line with the troubling behavior she exhibited throughout her stay. I hope our long history of 5-star reviews makes it clear that this review is not at all representative of my wife and me or our unit. If anyone needs further clarification, please message us.
