My family and I absolutely loved staying here. It was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. If I could change/andd anything, it would be to have extra towels and heavier blankets available but outside of that, everything was superb and perfect. Weā€™re just Floridians who needed a little bit more bundling up at night with the breathtakind were there

Another perfect Snow Drift stay

Always spotless clean. Kitchen well stocked. Mountains majestic. A quiet & peaceful cabin, breathtaking views. We really enjoy the fire pit table and hot tub. We keep coming back again & again. GPS will easily lead you to the cabin, paved roads all the way, nothing steep or difficult. 10/10 highly recommend.

The cabin was easy to get to. No dirt roads!!!! It was beautifully decorated and very clean. Perfect for multiple couples and kids! The view was gorgeous!! Will stay here again!

Beautiful cabin

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was very clean, spacious with amazing mountain views. Kitchen is well stocked and fireplace heats the first floor nicely. Beds are super comfy and hot tub is fantastic. The property managers sent a nice welcome message, as well. We felt right at home and didn't want to leave!!! I will definitely book this cabin again next fall!!

Beautiful cabin! Everything you could need was offered, plus more! Board games, ping pong, fire pits, and a grill were a few of the bonuses! Screened in porch felt safe even at night. Cabin felt very clean. Extremely close to Helen! The recommended restaurants were amazing. Fun drive to get up here as well :)

Snowdrift Cabin

We had a fantastic week staying at Snowdrift. We had absolutely everything we needed. The highlight for us was the screened in back porch with gas fire pit looking out over the mountain. We sat there drinking tea, enjoying the view, when we weren't out hiking. Perfect.

Easy Living

We have stayed at Snowdrift Cabin a few times now. Weā€™ve not been disappointed yet! Consistently clean and well maintained. Vacation life is made easy here! Everything and anything you may need is a short drive away. Weā€™ve already booked our next stay! Jessica is a dream to work with.

Always Perfect

Snow Drift has become our ā€˜go-toā€™ for a quick getaway. Easy road access to the cabin, directions are simple to follow. GPS will get you there with no problem. Cabin is always clean and kitchen is well stocked with plenty of utensils. Very peaceful and the Mountain View is majestic. We will be back soon.

Our 4th stay

This was our 4th return to Snowdrift. Itā€™s always perfect. Easy drive and access to cabin. The cabin is clean, modern and the kitchen is stocked with all of our cooking needs. Bathrooms have plenty of towels etc. Hot tub is amazing. We are coming back in 6 months. 5 stars is not enough for Snowdrift, I give it 10.

Great Location, not luxurious!

Location was amazing. Cabin was not stocked with essentials. No laundry pods, nonsoap, no shampoo, no coffee, no salt and pepper. Beds, especially the sheets and comforter were comparable to a cheap hotel, not a 4 star property. Just a few little touches would make this place amazing, not just good!

Amazing!

Oh this property was everything I expected and more. Anything we may have forgot or didnā€™t make it to the store to get yet was there. From crockpots to seasonings and paper cups. Plus Jess response time was awesome. This cabin was nothing short of amazing. It was hard to get the kids and some adults out the house to explore because they didnā€™t want to leave the cabin.

Great location, clean, everything worked.

Beautiful view. Huge place, clean. Everything we needed. My only complaint is that check in is not until 4:00 and check out is at 10:00 am. Because of the mountains in the winter youā€™ve essentially got a 5:15 pm sunset and the sun rises at 7:27. So you get an 1 1/2 hours of daylight in the evening, and 2 1/2 in the morning. Less than that, by the time you pack up, wash the dishes, take out the trash, and put back the deck chairs you rearranged. 10:00 am is a really early checkout IMO. Hotels at least are 3 pm and 11:00 am. 6 hours to clean? You need a bigger cleaning crew if thatā€™s the case. Other than that, the place was great and weā€™d definitely come back.

Cabin was really nice, management company was on autopilot

The cabin was very nice, with quality furnishings and plenty of room for our family of four. There were a number of small but somewhat irritating issues which showed neglect by the management company. I give some examples: three of the four light bulbs in the kitchen overhead fixture were burned out, one of the smoke alarms was chirping because of low battery, the hot tub water level was below the jets and so had been turned off at the breaker, the dishwasher was not attached to the cabinet so would tip over whenever the door was opened and a rack pulled out, the dishwasher and disposal would intermittently stop working. Most irritating of all, the squirrels had dug under the outdoor trash bin and chewed a hole in the can lid inside, so our first bag of kitchen trash ended up spread out over the street and yard by the next morning. I think these are the kinds of things that the management company should be taking care of--are my expectations too high? I did get a number of emails throughout the week, greeting, asking about the stay, attraction suggestions--automated emails. Most interesting was the email encouraging me to provide a list of issues to them directly and to not reflect those in my VRBO review. So I did that--I provided a list of all of the neglectful issues that I experienced. They did not respond. If I was the owner of this cabin I would be furious. We have made the trip to N. GA every year for almost 15 years, and this is arguably the nicest cabin we have ever stayed in. Unfortunately, I am downgrading my review to 3-star only because of the neglect and seeming insincerity by the management company. If we had shown up to a house that was "ready to go" this would easily be 5-stars, but having to replace smoke detector batteries, fill the hottub and turn it on, use our cell phone flashlights in the kitchen, pick up our kitchen trash from the road and build a barricade out of rocks and sticks to keep squirrels out of the trash bin, and ask for a "spotter" every time we loaded the dishwasher--well that was just a little too much to worry about for what I paid to stay there.
